Anyone and all welcome! Smile

The weather was not particularly bright this day, the sky was cloudy, the sun only peeking from behind it's cloudy blanket every now and again, seeming to be like a child reluctant to get out of bed, playing hide and seek with the lands below, but managing to warm the lands to something close to a pleasantly warm temperature. It was now the late morning, a fine mist of rain had been falling since dawn, the land was damp and the grass was slippery, but for now the rain seemed to have stopped, although the fluffy clouds that floated through the sky had a grey tinge to them, suggesting that there may be more rain to come in the later hours of the day. The breeze was stronger than it had been in the past days, picking up golden leaves from the branches of trees and causing them to drift towards the lush green grass. The weather and the lands were changing for the upcoming autumn, soon the equinox would be upon them and then the lands would truly be into autumn, the leaves were beginning to yellow and fade, the grasses had died back, the birds were making their way south, leaving only the hardier species behind to brave the cold Canadian winter, all around small animals were about the place, making the most of the last few warm days before autumn took hold of the lands properly, foraging for food to store away for the winter months. All over the trees were laden with fruit and nuts, the bushes being filled with berries, squirrels, rabbits and mice raced here and there with these in their mouths, bounding here and there to hide them away for when the winter was here and the food was scarce. They suddenly all froze and then scattered as a multicoloured blur passed them, giggling loudly to itself, disturbing the peaceful tranquility of the scene. This of course went unnoticed to the patchwork girl as she took off again, she had discovered something new that her Optime form did and she wanted to practice and do it as many times as she could, it was terribly fun. The small female stood up straight, and barrelled over sideways, rolling from her hands to her feet as she went, she had just discovered cartwheels and she was delighted with them.

A pale mare came into view, snorting at the small female, who stopped momentarily and bounced up to pat her nose, the mare watched her with large brown eyes, tossing her head, her white mane flowing over her neck as she did so. She was finally wearing a proper red head collar that Robin had found for her and she seemed to approve of it, she gave the small girl a motherly nudge, raising her head and ruffling the girl's long curled mane, she seemed to be a caretaker for the small creature, she was becoming her shadow, her constant companion, which suited the patchwork girl perfectly, she was a member of her gang after all, her third in command, after Linden, of course.
"Hello Scarlett, did you see me do that spinney thing? Isn't it clever! I'm very proud of it, I think I may have invented a new way to travel." The little fae spoke to the horse, whispering the last past as if she were imparting a great secret, the mare snorted in reply, which the patchwork girl took to mean that she was very proud of her too. She clapped her hands together and patted the mare again, before racing a way down the clear patch of grass.
"Watch me Scarlett! It's very clever" She called, waiting for a response from the mare, who simply tossed her large head and lay down upon the damp grass, bending her long neck to chew on the grass as she watched the young wolf with a careful eye. Robin gave another cheerful squeal, skipping for a moment before flinging herself headlong into another cartwheel, spinning cheerfully across the grass, giggling loudly as she did it over and over again under the careful watch of Scarlett.

Hey there, mind if I join you? (587 words)

It wasn't a very pleasant day to be outside, Liam concluded after about five minutes of lazily walking about, his paws feeling the cold, wet grass under his feet, the small northern breeze whipping at his fur. The day was dim and unwelcoming, the smell of rain still evident among everything around. Birds were chirping madly in the distance, perhaps preparing to migrate south for the winter. Liam wasn't entirely sure when that would happen – after all, this was his first real winter. Last year he'd been born in the middle of it and had been too young to really remember the small crystals that had covered everything for months. The world around him was all a sign that autumn had really set food on the Miracles land and as dreary as some may find it, Liam actually liked it a lot. The leaves as they slowly changed colors – vivid orange and piercing red – were so beautiful.

Liam needed to get out of the house for a little while. He wouldn't go far in case his mother needed him but he would at least try to stretch his legs a little, maybe even bump into some people he could play with that weren't young pups too fragile to tackle or too young to comprehend what roughhousing meant. “Dang it! Almost!” he hissed as he watched his prey scatter away. A tiny squirrel that had been gathering his supply of food for the upcoming season. Liam continued chasing the small creature for a few minutes before its scent led him at the base of a tall tree. He wasn't much of a tree-climber, even in his Optime form. He had tried a couple times and while some trees were easier than others, this one here was a way too steep and didn't have any steady branches for him to grab onto. It didn't matter though. He would find something else to chase! Pawing the ground at the base of the tree, Liam's bi-colored eyes searched his surroundings in sight of his next target. That was when he saw her – about a dozen feet away. A short, sandy brown female with piercing blue eyes. Ah! He knew what his new target was now and in one light bounce Liam was off, running as fast as his long, muscular legs would carry him! Which, for description's sake, was very fast.

He had met Robin Aatte a couple weeks back, before the pups had been born. He had arrived home one day to find her hands on his mother's belly – at first he'd been on his guard, but as the day had carried out he'd learned that she was actually a whole lot of fun. She was really good company – especially during boring days such as this. Liam's black lips twitched into a wide grin as he carefully snuck behind a tree, unseen. His bi-colored eyes were locked on the female as she cartwheeled about. He continued this for about two minutes, up until Robin stopped and began speaking to a beautiful horse. Liam waited patiently, crouched down, ready to pounce. Liam decided it was time when Robin started doing cartwheels again, the mare still there, watching the female like Liam had been doing for a few minutes.

One steady leap was all Liam needed. When Robin was half-way through her cartwheel, standing upside down, he pounced onto her, a playful look in his eyes. “Boo!” he said in his husky, semi-masculine voice.

It's great that you have jumped in on this, the thread was looking a little lonely I will admit Smile WC: 577

The small patchwork girl was really enjoying herself, despite the dull and gloomy weather of the day. Robin had always had an active imagination, something which she may well have inherited from her mother, who was after all the pack storyteller; she found that it was easy to imagine that it was a warm and sunny day. She knew little of what was coming in the upcoming months, this seasonal change being completely new to her, she had been born in the late winter and had therefore only really explored the spring and summer seasons so far, this new season was rather enjoyable to the patchwork girl she had to confess, she liked the colour changes that were happening, although she was concerned that the birds were all leaving; though she had read some books on the subject of birds and had assured herself that they would be returning in the spring she still did not like the idea of them leaving. She wondered what happened after the leaves had all fallen, then the season of winter would come, she knew that it would have something called snow most likely and be cold, but she had never experienced it herself before, so far she had never really experienced cold or too much wet, she wondered what snow would be like, in the pictures it seemed fluffy, as she imagined clouds would be, but her father had said that it was crunchy and cold, she would just have to wait and see no doubt. All these thoughts ran through her mind as she cartwheeled here and there across the grass, she was giggling to herself, enjoying watching the land spin around as she cartwheeled here and there. She was enjoying this new form greatly, it was much better than when she had first started, when her legs didn't seem to work at all, now it much better. This thought was suddenly interrupted as something collided with her, the pair tumbled over, Robin being pinned beneath the weight of whoever it was.

Scarlett let out a whinny of worry and climbed to her feet, moving to canter to the pair and trample whoever it was that had attacked her wolven charge, luckily at this moment Liam spoke and Robin recognised his voice.
“No Scarlett! It's alright, he's a friend!” The little female called out, causing the mare to skid to a halt, she stood where she was, letting out low nickers of concern still, pawing at the ground as she watched the pair in their potential rough and tumble games. It seemed that the pale mare concluded that this was a similar situation as when the red male had come to visit Robin at the stables and had attacked her, she had quickly pinned him and chewed on his ear, it had been Linden, her brother, but of course the mare did not know this. With another snort she lay down again, clearly deciding that the male was no threat, but she kept a watchful eye on the pair, just in case. At the same time as this was happening, Robin tried to wrestle the larger male, she reached up, aiming to bite at his ear playfully as she did with her siblings when they tackled her.
"So you want to play then Liam?" The little female asked, her tail wagging as she tried to shove him so that she would have the upper hand in this wrestling game.

It was hard to believe that it would be getting even colder outside. Liam could already see a significant change since the summer months – he could hardly imagine it being much colder, although he assumed it would be similar to the early days of Spring. He remembered the first time he'd jumped into a puddle of water after a long rainfall, how cold it had been under his paws. He remembered stories pack-mates had told him about snow storms and how snowflakes looked like little stars falling from the sky. He had stared in awe and disbelief, but after asking about the subject to his mother, she had told him that the stories were true – well, now it was almost time for the moment of truth. He would get to see for himself what winter looked and felt like. He was really excited. But alas, there was still a couple months to go before the cold really fell on the land and Liam needed to occupy himself until then.

He was hoping Robin would be a perfect distraction. The two could play all autumn long, both waiting for their first winter to arrive. Of course, quite like a mighty snowball tumbling down a snowy hill, the pair were now rolling about one on top of the other. Liam grinned down at Robin before he heard the sound of hooves stomping against the grassy earth. His ears twitched as his eyes locked on the horse as it raced forward, coming to a full stop only when Robin told it to. Of course he only concerned himself of this for a millisecond, for the next consisted of a full on wrestling match as he tried hard to keep Robin's canines away from his very valuable ear. His nose poked at her as his teeth nibbled at her fur, his paws playfully clawing at her as they rolled around. His tail wagged excitedly, a mischievous twinkle in his eye that, in the past, had only truly been visible when he and Noah had been playing around.

She shoved him then. It wasn't the hardest shove, far from it, but Liam had been unbalanced in his attempts to pin her down and he found himself tumbling to the ground, his paws in the air as he lay on his back, his light beige underbelly exposed. Liam's wolfish lips twitched into somewhat of a smirk as the mischievous look in his eyes reached the rest of his face. Her words triggered his imaginative side as his mind began to work on a potential scenario for a game. "Let's go on a adventure! We, the greatest Knights of all time, shall save the entire pack from the evil..." he drifted off, not knowing what kind of evil creature to use as an enemy for their quest. They needed something vicious like... like... "Two-headed horses!" he exclaimed as he eyed Scarlett. The light-colored mare had been giving him the death glare ever since he'd pounced on Robin and it was creeping him out. So evidently horses had to be the villain in the story.

Sorry about the wait on this, being without my laptop is taking it's toll on me Sad WC: 657

The mare had stopped her panicking now, she had moved to lay down, but she was still watching the young male with a careful eye, she seemed to be warming to him, but the little female was her charge, she had a motherly instinct towards her and would not let any harm come to her. So she remained alert, although she had ceased attempting to trample the brown male into the ground in defence of her patchwork owner. Robin grinned as the pair rolled around in playful wrestling, this was much better than when she wrestled with her brother. She wasnot sure whether it was just because she knew Linden better than she knew Liam, knew his habits and his attack patterns when they played together, she usually beat him quickly, pinning him down and chewing on his ears until he cried for mercy, she never played with Felicity this way, her sister was far too girly to be attacked and seen rough housing in such a manner. Liam however posed a new challenge, he was a brand new friend that she could get to know and play with, he was a little older than she was so he had enough strength that he posed a challenge when they play fought, it was fun and new for the pair. When they had first met it did not seem that he liked her very much, but as they had spoken he had warmed to her and soon enough they were now playing together having a lot of fun. They rolled around together, Robin could not help but be delighted that she had met the brown pelted male, it was wonderful to have a new play mate. He yielded to her shove and fell over backwards, Robin grinned and took this moment as an opportunity, she pounced at the male, leaping onto his stomach and attempting to pin him, much as Nala did to Simba when they had been young. The little female giggled with delight as she attempted to chew on his ear again, using the tried and tested tactic to attempt to win the play fight. The male suddenly started suggesting a game that they might play and a grin spread across her face, he had indeed been a good choice of friend! The little patchwork girl could not wipe the grin from her face as she looked at him, it would seem that he shared her great imagination as well.

The patchwork girl was an imaginative soul herself, she was usually the one of her siblings that was relied on to think up the latest plot for their adventure games, she was the one that could decide upon a new twist and turn of events in the games at the drop of a hat. It seemed that Liam might finally be a match for her wits, he had come up with a rather impressive plot line in the merest of moments. The young female grinned as he looked at her horse, suggesting that the enemy that they should fight should be a horse, perhaps Scarlett had frightened him more than he had let on.
"Oh yes! That sounds wonderful, the two headed horses can be ridden by... by pirates! Vampire pirates!" The young female added, grinning as her mind filled in the gap that she felt was in the adventure story. Vampires were her new favourite enemy, after finding a couple of human books on the subject she had become rather entranced with them, the idea that they were the scary things that crept through the night and sucked other's blood, well it made them the perfect villain. Often the small girl made the enemies of their stories a pantomime style villain, but now she had started to make the enemies more real, more frightening baddies. She pounced on the male once again, trying to wrestle him as he considered the idea that she had proposed.

They're so cute. <3 (384 words)

Liam wasn't sure he liked horses very much. Robin's in particular gave him the creeps with her warning eyes and protective expression. Then again, he had to be grateful because she hadn't trampled him to death yet. Liam liked his bones intact.

Now Robin was another story altogether, but as they began their playful scuffles and fun banters, Liam's genuine liking for the Squire female went, for the most part, all the way at the very back of his mind. He had on his face a very goofy grin, bi-colored eyes staring up at her. He could feel her paws on his chest, the tips of her claws brushing at his fur and skin. Liam breathed hard for a few moments, his chest heaving up and down under her weight.

Liam listened with all of the attention in the world – pirates! Vampire pirates! That was a fascinating twist to his own story! He didn't know much about vampires – only that they had been scary humans who fed on blood – but he did know about pirates. He had read a lot of stories about them. Some of the first stories he'd ever learned had been kid books about pirates. “Okay!” he said with a nod, “And the vampire pirates want to make our kingdom their own and enslave our pack mates... and feed on our families!” Yes, yes! He definitely liked musing over ideas with Robin – she was creative and spontaneous and exciting! He couldn't wait to actually play out their little concoction!

Just then the young Catori male remembered they'd been fighting and that she currently had the upper-hand, being on him and all. He didn't let her pin him down for much longer – it took him a few seconds to gather his strength and throw her off, working so that he was on top of her this time, both arms on either side of her face near her shoulders. She had gotten a good few seconds to toy around with his ear though and he could still feel the slight prickle of her teeth. He breathed hard for a few moments but the grin never left his face.

“Let's go and save Cour des Miracles!” the male exclaimed, excitement and honor leaking through every word.

I <3 these two, they're so adorable. I have the strange feeling that they're going to do something silly like fall in love aren't they? XD WC: 881

The small patchwork's tail was wagging furiously as she played with the male with the bi-coloured eyes, she liked him, he was going to be a wonderful friend. She grinned as she thought on it, it was nice not to be the one that had to come up with all of the plot for an adventure game, she had shown from a young age that she had an active imagination and her natural bossiness when it came to her other siblings meant that now they simply relied upon her to think up a game for them to play out. To have Liam who seemed keen on adding his own ideas and taking charge of the game himself. The young male was indeed a lovely male, she liked his whole family, holding incredible respect for his father, the King of the pack, his mother was a welcoming and kind wolf as well, she liked his whole family. She suddenly had a moment of worry, he was soon to be a big brother, if he was not already one, what would happen when the pups were born? Would the male tire of her? She didn't want to be left alone when they were just starting this blossoming friendship, she wanted them to be the best of friends forever, she had already decided that they would be, it was now in her life plan; when she was off being a heroine she wanted Liam to be stood on one side of her and Linden on the other, the Aatte knight leading the way, that was how she wanted it to be. The small female suddenly stopped chewing on the male's brown ear and looked down at him, her face filled with worry.
"You know when your brothers and sisters are born; you're still going to want to play with me aren't you? I know that you'll be busy, but I don't want to lose you as a friend. We'll still be friends forever wont we?" Robin asked, her eyes filled with concern as she looked down into the bi-coloured male's eyes. The small girl did not move from her position of having the male pinned though, she was not silly, the male would take advantage of any small chance that he might get in this wrestling match, she would have done so after all, she was not one to see an advantage and not take it.

The male then suggested even more plot for the pair's game and the small girl's tail began to wag again as she looked at him, oh yes he was indeed a clever male, this game was going to be fun, now they had to save their friends and family from being enslaved, yes, what a fantastic idea! The small girl grinned and nodded furiously.
"Yes, yes! That's a great idea, without us stopping the vampire pirates then everyone will be forced to work all day and all night making a huuuuge cover for the land so that the vampires can sit in the shade!" The little female added, grinning down at the male, she was suddenly taken by surprise as he shoved her off of him; clearly she had left an advantage that she hadn't noticed. The small girl squirmed beneath the male as he pinned her, trying to see a weakness so that she might get free again, giggling a little, she had always enjoyed rough and tumble games. The patchwork Aatte grinned at the male as he spoke again, trying to free her arms so that she might be able to push him off of her. He suggested that they started the game, yes that was a great idea, the young girl was eager to start fighting off these vampire pirates, she could already picture them around the lands, when one's imagination's eye was as strong as Robin's, it was not hard to see the enemy as clearly as if they were really there. Deciding that she had been pinned for long enough she began to wriggle again.
"Yes, let's go!" The young Aatte declared, grinning at the male, this was more fun than she had had in a long time! Everyone was so busy at the moment; they often didn't have time to play with a young carefree girl like the patchwork Aatte. Her mother and father were always busy at the moment, the Knight and his princess, always doing something here and there, now that the pups were a little more grown up they seemed to expect that they would be able to entertain themselves; it was getting more difficult to coax them into playing with them. Robin had a sudden flash of inspiration, knowing the easiest way to get the male off of her, using the same tactic that she used to get Linden off her. She leant her head up and licked the side of the male's face, her long pink tongue running all the way from his nose to almost his ear, when she did this to her ochre brother he would declare his disgust and leap from her, rubbing the spit away. She hoped that Liam would do the same, then she would be able to race off before he could pin her again, then their game could start properly!

Hahaha. Falling in love is silly? LOL I agree though, they're adorable and remind me a lot of Simba and Nala from Lion King. <3 (523 words)

Liam was overall a friendly kind of guy. He had some trust issues when first meeting strangers and had always had abandonment issues – especially after Noah's departure – but yes, Liam was definitely friendly. He loved to meet new people and play around, make up new games and create new things. He loved to have fun and get into shameless trouble here and there... sure he was getting really big, as big as the average adult, but he was truly still an oversized puppy. He hadn't lived through any big dramatic event yet. The innocence had yet to leave his blue and green eyes, the smile on his wolfy face genuine and kind. If one thing was for sure, he did not tire of his friends very easily – if ever. Sure, his siblings were taking up an incredibly large part of his mind right now but Robin was growing to be just as important to him and her worries were pointless. Of course, Liam wasn't about to say that flat out because it would probably sound rude.

So instead he just poked her furry face with his damp nose, a grin on his face as he attempted to erase the concern out of her eyes. “Of course we will, I promise! Our adventures are only just getting started, fair warrior! Maybe one day we'll go on real adventures all over the land!” he said excitedly. “If ever your mom and dad have more pups, do you promise to be best friends forever?” he asked her in return. He wasn't truly worried, but it would definitely reassure him to know that no matter what they would both always have each other's backs.

Liam wasn't sure he liked this whole mushy business very much. Talking about his feelings like that to Robin felt weird. Sure, he liked her and he knew she liked him too... they were friends and they had fun playing together. Was it really necessary for them to talk about it? Thankfully they didn't have to for long though because they were talking about their game again. “Oh yes, that's exactly what they want us to do! And we can't let them, no way!” Liam said, glancing up at the sunny sky. In his mind's eye he saw the entire Court forever drenched in darkness and he mentally shuttered. The sun was great and he did not want vampires to take it away. They wrestled a little bit for a few seconds; mostly Liam was trying to keep Robin from wriggling free, until she did something that made him wince. After all, he was still a young male.

“Urck!” he said as he felt her warm tongue on his face. He didn't know whether to be disgusted or... or... something else. After considering it for about a millisecond, he decided that disgust was the right emotion. It didn't take long after that for Liam to roll off the patchwork girl, playfully poking her with his nose again. “Fine, you win this time but I'll get you back!” he chanted as he shook his head lightly.

Sorry for the wait on this, the lack of the laptop is driving me mad XD WC: 755

The small patchwork girl was really enjoying the company of the slightly older male; the pair of them were going to make quite a formidable team in the future. Robin could picture the pair now, playing and adventuring their way across the lands, making a name for themselves as some of the greatest explorers ever to be known. Always making time to protect the weak and needy of course though, that was important, it was an ideal that Robin had learnt from her favourite story book character, he had always made sure to protect those that needed his help, even if that meant that he had to do things that were not necessarily within the law; the morality was right though, so Robin modelled herself on him. She also modelled herself on her father as well, of course, the ochre Knight was her hero, he always would be, her father was an upstanding member of the pack after all. The small female wanted the male to be her friend forever, which was the subject of worry at the moment. Liam soon quashed those worries though, speaking about his plans, it seemed that they matched the young squire's own plans as well, the young girl grinned as he spoke. So they really would be friends forever! Robin was delighted, already she could not imagine not having the brown male around, he was soon becoming her closest friend. The little female grinned and watched his face; he asked if she would always be his friend forever as well.
"Of course I will always be your friend! We'll be friends forever, I promise." Robin replied, her tail wagging as she looked at the older male. She gave him a prod with her nose in return to Liam's own nose prod.
"If I have any more siblings they might be a lot more like Felicity anyway, to balance it out. Do you want brothers or sisters?" Robin asked, suddenly curious as to what the male might want, Robin herself thought that she might prefer to have brothers, she loved Fee dearly, but she was a very girly girl and she had begun to find that their interests were not very similar at all, perhaps when they were a little older then they might find that they would have closer interests again.

The young male added more to the game again and the small female's tail wagged, oh indeed it was wonderful to have the male in her life, he was turning out to be a wonderful playmate for the young girl, she hoped that they would always be this way, that they would always play together. Robin nodded furiously as the male spoke; she knew that the vampires would indeed enslave their pack mates and force them to build a magnificent shelter over the lands, meaning that they would always be able to walk around without the sun's rays touching them. The small girl shuddered as well as she thought of the lands being dark and cold always, she would hate that indeed! Robin loved the sunshine, she did not mind the rain either, but she could not imagine the lands without any sun, always fumbling around in the dark, stumbling this way and that, even though wolves had good night vision she could imagine that walking around in the dark with vampires following you everywhere would be horrible.
"No! We can't allow them to do that at all! We must go and save everyone from the horrible vampires!" The young female replied. The small female grinned as the male leapt off of her, rubbing the spit from his face, making a noise of disgust; Robin was delighted, it worked every time! The young girl giggled and leapt in the air as the male said that she had won the fight.
"Ha ha! Victory!" The little female chanted, grinning at the male, doing a small victory dance around in a circle, she knew that there would be a next time of course and as the male was stronger than her he might just win, but she had a few more tricks up her sleeve yet, she would get the advantage she was sure. Suddenly she paused, lowering herself to the ground, this was the beginning of the game, she crouched low to the ground and pointed.
"Shhh... There are Vampire pirates over there, can you see them? I don't think they've seen us yet." The girl added, looking at Liam, happily falling into her imaginary version of the land.

ooc: woo for larger posts and another woo for bamf warriors! (692 words)

Liam wasn't one to compare, but in this situation he couldn't help it. For so long it had been him and his brother Noah – they'd been a pair, Liam looking up to Noah as though there was no one greater in the world. The two brothers had been very close but then it had all ended one summer day when Noah had left. For a long time Liam had found himself roaming the pack-lands alone, in search of things to do. He had met a few wolves that had been more than happy to be his source of entertainment but it wasn't until Robin had come into his life that he'd had real fun. Kind of like when he'd used to play with Noah... only better. Robin was an intriguing creature with a brilliant mind and bubbling personality. She molded herself perfectly to Liam and Liam to her. They were the perfect pair. So of course Liam meant what he said – he would forever stay true to his promise. They would be best friends forever. “Good.” he said, as though the single word forever bonded the two Court members together.

Liam shrugged at her next question – what did he want as far as siblings. Well, considering he already had the best of both worlds with 'Mara and Kable, and then another brother in the form of Noah... “I would like more sisters.” he said, the answer coming to him quickly and without hesitation. He saw Kable and 'Mara and the way they were together. They had this bond and although they were older now, 'Mara very much capable of fending for herself and perhaps even the one to keep Kable in line, Liam could tell they were closer than Liam and Noah had ever been. Liam longed for sisters to dote over – sisters to protect and love. He wanted to feel what it was like to be looked up to and loved. Sisters just appealed to him more, since he only had two right now, compared to his four brothers. Lottie was still way too young to really develop a personality anyway so Liam still didn't quite see her as a 'real' sister, oddly enough. She was too young to understand things and learn how to read and write. In due time though... It wouldn't be long before the three of them were running all over the Cour des Miracles territory, getting in trouble like their big brother had now and then.

But now the conversation wasn't on their real as well as imaginative siblings but on their game. Liam's tail wagged once in excitement, his eyes darting from Robin's blue orbs to his surroundings. He could already imagine the vampire pirates on their large horses, intimidating and imposing. “Yeah well only this time!” Liam said as he watched her bouncing about, chanting and giggling. He wasn't a bad sport – he was just competitive. Winning was always more fun, especially when your opponent was equally as competitive. Liam just hoped she'd let him live it down. Curse you, slobbery tongues of doom! Still a little bothered by the wet defeat, Liam followed Robin into a crouched position, his bi-colored eyes resting on her as he waited for a sign of what to do first. Then she pointed and instinctively his eyes darted to the spot. While most would have seen a few shrubs and bushes, Liam and Robin were seeing menacingly vivid vampire pirates attempting to conquer the pack. Liam nodded silently, a slight growl escaping his lips. “Yes I see them.” he mouthed softly.

He shifted his weight slightly from his furry left hand to his right, glancing from Robin to the vampires. “Do you have a game plan, fair warrior?” he asked in all seriousness, half-ready to pounce in case the mean ol' vampires decided they wanted to attack. “Because clearly we can't just pounce. We're far too outnumbered.” he breathed. His eyes darted back to the vampires. Robin had said they hadn't seen them yet though, which was in itself a reassuring thought. If only for a moment.

I have tried to reply to this twice, but keep getting to "slobbery tongues of doom" and getting the giggles and having to start reading all over again XD I think that's the best phrase of this thread Big Grin I think these two are so cute together <3 WC: 1039 Apologies for the ramble XD

The younger female was so pleased that Liam had found her today, sure playing alone was fun enough, she had enough imagination to keep herself entertained, and of course she had Scarlett; the large mare was still watching the pair with careful eyes, although she seemed a lot more calm now. In fact the little patchwork girl liked being alone, she enjoyed playing alone, she had even managed to invent an entirely new form of transport today, the cartwheel was something that she was incredibly proud of, she was going to show everyone, she was going to teach everyone, how amazed they would be when they saw that she had discovered this fantastic wheeling transport. But it was great to have some company, always being alone was a horrible thing, she wished that Linden and Fee wanted to play more often, but now they had their own lives, their own plans, sure they played in the evenings, at home, but now she didn't see them around the lands as often as she used to. To have Liam come and play with her was fantastic, it certainly brightened the day. The small female grinned at the larger male as they play fought. She wanted them to be that way for always. The male replied to what she had said with a simple "good", but Robin knew the scale of what he had said, this was a promise, it would bind the two together forever, she knew that just as he did, it was as good as having signed a contract, the pair would always be friends and that was just how it would be. The girl's bi-coloured tail wagged as she looked at him, yes, he was a good choice of friend indeed. The next answer that the male gave was interesting as well, she had assumed that he would have preferred brothers to play with, they were always more keen on playing rough and tumble games and were not as bothered about getting as dirty as girls usually were. She herself was not a girly girl of course, but surely Liam ran the risk of ending up with sisters that were like her own sister, they would be very princess like and they would not want to play rough and tumble games in case they messed their fur up. Robin had always wanted brothers to play with, no matter how much she loved her sister.
“I see, why would you prefer sisters? I have always wanted more brothers myself, boys like to play the way I like to play. Felicity doesn't like to play games like we do, she doesn't like getting messy.” The young female asked, suddenly curious about the way that Liam's mind worked.

At the victory Robin could not help but dance and giggle, she was a very competitive soul, she could not help it, she had always been the one that won the fights when she played with her brother and so she had gotten used to it. That was not to say that she would be a poor loser if she did lose, but everyone liked winning of course. She smiled at the male as he said that she had only won this time, she looked forward to the rematch, she had a fair few tricks left and she would use them all against Liam in order to gain victory, she needed to have some kind of edge after all, the brown male was larger, older and indeed stronger than she was. Her tail wagged a little as she crouched beside him. The male replied that he could see the vampires and that made her happy, she was pleased to have found someone whose imagination matched her own. This was going to be fun indeed. She focused entirely on the spot where the vampires were, the leader was with them, the tallest vampire pirate, sat upon his two headed horse, a large red creature with cruel eyes. She looked at Liam as he spoke, he asked if she had a game plan, he called her "fair warrior", something that caused Robin to blush slightly underneath her patchwork fur, luckily it could not be seen, but she had no idea why it had happened, why would a silly simple phrase from her good friend's mouth make her feel all strange? She felt like she had butterflies zipping around her stomach, fluttering here and there. It was strange and confused the little Aatte, she wrinkled her nose as she tried to figure out what this strange new feeling was. But soon it was shoved from her mind as she decided that this was not the time to attempt to puzzle this out, she would think on it later; now she and the Catori male had much more important things to deal with, things that had pointy teeth and cruel natures. She rubbed her chin as she looked at the enemy, musing what to do, how would they approach so that they could not be seen?
"We could attempt to go around the back of them, we could sneak that way." The small female pointed to a spot to the left of the vampires.
"If we sneak there then I don't think that we'll be seen, hmm... We need weapons." The small female added, noticing a long stick in the grass, of course to her it was not a stick, it was a long shining sword. A large broadsword with a leather bound hilt. The small girl picked it up and passed it to the brown pelted male.
"Here's a sword for you, now something for me." She said with a smiled, looking here and there for another long stick. Soon she saw it, a smile crossed her lips as she crawled towards it, in her mind the stick was a shining, curved sword, ready for killing vampires and protecting the lands. She looked over her shoulder at the male, grinning at him, she lifted the sword and waved it at him, now they were both armed and definitely ready for the battle ahead. The excitement and thrill was starting to build in the small girl, she was ready to go and fight those horrid vampire pirates!

You bring out the BEASTLY POST in me! Although still not as big as yours... which by the way isn't rambling - it's ccuuute. ♥ On another note - hahaha glad I could make you laugh. I think yesterday was a humor day for me because your not the first to point out something funny I wrote today. =D (909 words)

Liam had almost forgotten about the dreadfully scary mare. On occasions he would catch her from the corner of his one green eye and find himself a little unnerved, but for the most part Robin did a good job of keeping his attention well away from the animal he was learning to dislike very much. Oh, it wasn't just Scarlett. He had a feeling horses in general were animals he would keep his distance from in the future. They were vicious with those deadly hooves and oddly-shaped teeth – teeth that were meant to eat vegetation. Maybe Liam shouldn't be so bothered, after all he wasn't green and as far as he knew he wasn't rooted to the earthy ground. They were still scary though, after all this one here had nearly murdered Liam when he'd tackled Robin earlier. Scarlett was most definitely out to get him. Just watching with her evil eyes, waiting for the perfect moment to strike... Yes, she was definitely evil, no doubts there.

Brothers were indeed rough – perhaps not as much as horses mind you – but that thought hadn't really crossed Liam's mind when Robin had asked the question. He had enough brothers to play rough with anyway, although Kable was perhaps a little too old to play like that now and Skoll and Hati were just a tad too young for Liam to unleash his full potential on them. Maybe sisters that had Felicity's personality would end up pushing his patience more than anything else, but Liam was a protector by nature and his main desire was to be a protective older brother to the young girls that would be born from his mother's womb in the future. If his mother was finished with pups, then he would be content with just being the 'cool uncle'. Cool uncles were fun too. He only had one nephew now in the form of Jiva, his sister's son, but the two were so close in age that Liam didn't really see Jiva as a nephew – more like another brother or a cousin of sorts. Maybe one day he'd take up the role of a protective father, however the idea of fatherhood wasn't one that occupied Liam's mind much.

When Robin asked him why he wanted sisters, Liam thought of everything that had gone through his mind since he had given his previous answer. “I don't know... I guess some girls are just...” he paused a minute, hoping Robin didn't take any offense in what he was about to say. He suddenly felt relieved that he had used the word 'some'. “...less likely to tear me in halves for being over-protective.” he told her with a playful smirk. “I mean – I know what two brothers are like; I had Noah. It's rough n' tough all the time and... sure it's a lot of fun, but I like the feeling that one day she'll look up to me and be proud that I'm her brother.” he paused, 'she referring to the figurative sister that may or may not be Lottie. “You and Linden are pretty close, right? It's a different relationship than you and Felicity... I just don't know how else to explain it. I like to play and brothers are great for that but...” he drifted off, shrugging. He couldn't really explain his thoughts. Besides, he felt kind of foolish now. His theory, his desire to be 'the protective older brother' just felt sappy and the last thing Liam wanted to be, especially around rough n' tough Robin, was sappy. I mean come on! Sappiness and losing play-fights? That just wasn't cool. Not cool at all! Liam was going to look like a wimpy girl if he kept it up!

Odd how he really cared about her impression of him. Usually he wasn't all that self-conscious. Oh well. Must be his competitive side again. But for now they crouched side by side, Liam completely oblivious to the momentary change of emotions on Robin's part. His eyes were fixed on the Vampires, so even if her blush would have been visible through the patch of creamy fur, he wouldn't have noticed. Why would he? According to his masculine and unromantic mind, his nickname meant absolutely nothing. “Oh, that could work. Attack them from behind.” Liam agreed with a solid nod as his eyes darted to the spot where she was now pointing at. In one agile gesture Liam took the stick!sword Robin tossed at him. “Thank you.” he said and waved the weapon around aimlessly, as if preparing himself for an intense battle.

“Good.” Liam half-whispered as Robin waved her own newly found weapon at him. “We're ready to save our lands from the vicious enemies and be heroes! he said silently, crawling towards her with his sword in his right hand. He glanced at the vampires discretely, nodding at Robin in a sign that meant 'let's go'. It was time to put their training – well, so maybe play-fighting wasn't training per say, but for their game it was – to the test and defeat the low-lives that were trying to mess with Cour des Miracles. The young wolves would not let that happen. They were fair, noble and dutiful soldiers – true warriors. They were proud to serve and protect their pack... even if it just so happened to be all in their head.

Thanks Smile And yes, thast was a huuuge post XD I have a fun plan for Robin and Liam at some point soon, when we've done with this thread maybe XD WC: 1077

The young patchwork girl could not help but be curious about why the male wanted sisters, maybe it was something to do with his knight-ly plans, that he could protect them, or practice protecting others, that's what Robin used Fee for, she played the damsel in distress and she and Linden rescued her, sometimes they could coax their ochre father into playing the villain of the piece, something which he did with a pantomime like flair, complete with an evil laugh. Perhaps that was what Liam wanted to have sisters for, the small girl herself was happy with just having one sister, she loved Fee very much, but if her sisters all turned out to be girly and over excitable, just as her brown pelted sister was, then the small girl was not sure that she would be able to cope with them. She much preferred having friends and siblings that she could play fight with, although of course if her parents were to have another litter then she wouldn't try to play fight with them until they were big enough; also boys seemed to be more keen on adventuring, if she had more brothers then she could convince them to come on all of her expeditions with her, they could all go around as a group fighting baddies, with Robin, Linden and Liam leading the way of course. Liam then began to explain why he wanted sisters and Robin sat quietly watching him as he did so, head tilted to one side as she listened. So he wanted them to be proud of him, well why wouldn't they be? Surely any sibling would be proud to have Liam as a brother no matter what gender or age they were. Robin was about to say that she'd be proud to have him as a brother, but something stopped her, no she didn't see him as a brother, at least that was what the strange swirly feeling in her tummy told her, she didn't know what it meant, but she knew that she was happy to have him as her best friend.
"I'm sure all of your brothers and sisters are happy to have you as a brother, why wouldn't they be? You're brave and noble, I'm sure you'll be a great big brother." The young Aatte replied, her tail wagging as she smiled at him. She meant what she said as well, she was sure that the others would be proud to have him as an elder, or indeed, younger brother, after all he was going to be a great adventurer.

The male tried to explain further, using herself and Linden and herself and Fee as examples. It was true, they had very different relationships, Robin was Fee's protector and Linden tried to be the patchwork girl's protector, that was until she pointed out that she could best him in a fight anytime, it seemed to deflate the "I'm your big brother and you need looking after" mentality that the ochre male had. She loved him though and was very glad to know that if she ever needed him that he would always be there for her. But she didn't usually need him, she could look after herself, it was great when he came along and helped her, but for the most part the patchwork girl was pretty self sufficient, she had yet to come across an enemy that she couldn't best, admittedly all of her enemies up to now had been imaginary, but still... She looked at the brown male as he tried to explain, as she tried to figure out what he had meant a grin spread across her face, he wanted to look after them! It seemed the Catori male had a softer side to his nature, this made Robin grin and she giggled for a moment. She herself had a softer side, a side that could listen to Fee's girly chatter and indeed join in in her girlish play, but it was something that the young female kept hidden ninety nine percent of the time, only a priveleged few, well one had ever really seen it. She smiled at the male and headbutted him in a friendly way, bumping her head against his shoulder.
"You want to be all brave and look after them don't you?" Robin asked, her tone far from teasing, it was a far more honest and open tone really.

It seemed that the brown pelted male hadn't noticed Robin's blush, for this she was more than glad, she would have hated for him to think that she was going all girly on him! She wasn't even sure what had caused the blushing, after all Liam was her friend, why when he called her that did her tummy go all funny? She didn't like it one bit, she didn't understand it, she would make sure to ask her father when she got home, to make sure that she wasn't ill or anything. She had had a poorly tummy once and that had started with a strange bubbling feeling in her stomach, perhaps this was the same thing, although it didn't feel like bubbling, it felt like lots of tiny butterflies all flapping their wings... She shook the thought from her mind and focused back on the task at hand, she obviously was not ill, it must just be her stomach being odd, after all why would her good friend not say nice things to her, that was what friends did wasn't it? They were nice to one another. With a grin she looked at the male as he thanked her, nodding her head to say that he was welcome, she waved her sword at him and the pair began to creep around to the left of the vampire clan, silently stalking their prey. Luckily it seemed that they hadn't seen them yet. The patchwork girl grinned at Liam and pointed ahead, straight at the vampire leader.
"If we defeat the leader over there then I am sure that the rest will be easy to take care of, but how do we get past his guards without being seen?" She asked, now they were behind the imaginary foes and were sneaking forward, low to the ground, both clutching their stick swords. Robin grinned at the male and winked, she pointed at the nearest guard and ran her finger across his throat, suggesting that they kill him silently and then move closer.

Oooh, plans! xD I'm excited! I have quite a few ideas for them myself, so yeah. ♥ (774 words)

Liam wasn't sure if Lottie would play 'the damsel in distress', unless of course he were to coax her to do it by offering up some reward of sorts. She was still too young to really know what rewards were, but maybe once she was older he could try. Unless of course Skoll and Hati beat him to it, influencing her into doing all sorts of crazy things. Liam mentally smirked to himself at the thought – he was already beginning to see three personalities develop within his three little siblings and the idea of seeing them grown up and mature brought a pang of sadness and excitement. He was seeing them growing and it was going by so fast. But then what if Lottie turned out to be more like the noble and fair Robin Aatte? Adventurous, fun and imaginative? Liam would definitely love that too because he loved every moment spent hanging out with Robin. He was a protector by nature though and given Robin was such an independent soul, able to care for herself and fend for herself, Liam was afraid that if his sister was like her, she wouldn't need him to protect her. A part of her wanted to protect Robin too – he felt as though it was his job, considering he was older and the male. It was really a subject where Liam was on the fence though. In one hand he wanted them to need him to protect them, but in the other he would always sleep better at night knowing they weren't in constant danger. Ah, life as a best friend and big brother was just so tough. But in all honestly, he loved all of his siblings, no matter who they were, what they did and what they would do in the future. They were family and Liam took family very seriously.

Liam couldn't help but feel a strange warmth in his chest as she spoke, comforting him with her soothing words, telling him that he would be a great big brother. Liam truly hoped so. “Thanks.” was all he could muster up. While he did feel very much grateful to have her say such things, he couldn't bring himself to tell her. It was that kind of mushy-feely stuff that just didn't come naturally to the teenaged wolf. Liam guessed, in the end, that she was right. Not all big brothers worried so much about their younger siblings and what they would ultimately end up thinking about them. Liam was like an overly protective dad, fussing over everything and wanting to make their world perfect – keep them from harm's way for as long as possible. So that they could keep their innocence forever. Still, there was just so much a big brother could do. Ultimately the task of raising the pups would be Ayita's and Vigilante's. Not that Liam was scared they would screw it up – they were the best parents one could ask for.

Liam was a little surprised to find her giggling. A curious look in his eye, one of his ears raised questioningly. “Awh, come on it's not funny.” he said, although at her words he couldn't help but let out a wolfish laugh, returning her headbutt with a playful shove, his furry fist aiming at her side. “Once you become an older sister one day you'll have the same feeling. They're so little and vulnerable!” he argued, as though his point of view needed defending. It didn't though – Liam had every right to be a good big brother and he was going to be the best one he could be. What really needed defending though was their pack – against the big bad vampire pirates. “There's three guards – they outnumber us.” Liam said silently, his furry brown hands clutching his long sword even tighter. He could feel the tiny splinters as they got into his flesh but he ignored them. He was too preoccupied with eying the vampire guards. In his mind's eye, one of them glanced their way, but due to their height, what with being on horses, they loosed straight past them. “Maybe one of us should be the distraction while the other attacks the leader? It shouldn't be too hard to handle three guards on horses, at least for a few minutes, right? Then we can fight together...?” Liam suggested as his free hand went to rub at his head, deep in thought. This was all real to him and he needed to prove himself worthy of fighting alongside the brave warrior that was his best friend.

I am so, so sorry for making you wait on this, it's been a rubbish two weeks for business and then the internet went down, I am sorry hun!!! *feels terrible* And yes, I have some awesome plans for them, Marie, who plays Ayita says she wants them to get married XD WC: 900

The young patchwork girl smiled up the elder boy as he thanked her, she had meant every word of what she had said, she genuinely thought that any child would be proud to have Liam as an brother, he was a wonderful male. The male with bi coloured eyes was a brave male, protective and caring of those who he was near to, especially his mother when she had been pregnant, he had been very protective of her even around Robin. This was a trait that the young female admired, the way that Liam cared for his family, especially when they were in a vulnerable state. The little female's tail wagged as she looked up at the elder male, she was happy to have him as a friend, even if he did cause that strange swirly feeling in her stomach sometimes, especially when he said very nice things to her; she did not know why that was and why it only ever happened when he said things like that. Sometimes Linden or Felicity would be nice to her but it never enticed any such feeling in her, perhaps it was some strange friendship or companionship type feeling? Of course the little female had no idea about feelings of love, well not romantic love, well not yet at least as she was a very young creature. But she enjoyed spending time with the male and that was all that mattered in her mind, he was becoming her best friend very quickly and Robin was pretty sure that they would be friends forever. The young patchwork girl grinned and giggled as the male fell into an embarrassed lapse, it seemed that the idea that he hoped to protect his little sisters embarrassed him, this amused the small girl greatly; now she knew how to tease him! This was fantastic, she enjoyed playfully teasing Linden often as well, watching the ochre fur seem to darken as he began to blush. The male returned her head bump with a playful push and the small girl wobbled slightly, falling onto her bottom as she did so, she let out a loud giggle as she did so, her tail wagging as she looked up at the male. She grinned at him as she moved back to her feet, giving the male a little push back and giggling.
"I am sure that I will feel the same, I already feel that way about Fee anyway, she's so small and scared of things, I have to rescue her from the monster under the stairs quite often you know." She replied, her tail still wagging as she looked at the male.
"I'm only teasing Liam, I am sure that you aren't that big a softie really." The young female added, the truth was that many heroes were big softies when it came to their families, her father was a Knight and a brave male, but he could still go all mushy when it came to his children and siblings, Robin knew that well enough, she could wrap him around her little finger when she wanted to.

The young female smiled as the conversation turned back to the vicious vampires that were currently plotting a terrible attack on the lands. The small female watched them with large blue eyes, they seemed to be scanning the land, looking for anyone that might foil their plans, luckily as the pair were still small and crouched they had not been seen yet. Robin stared straight ahead but a small bi-coloured ear twitched to catch the sound of Liam speaking, she nodded as he did so; there were indeed three of the large guards on their even larger horses. She was not sure how they would attack them from here, there were only two of them after all, even if they were brave and strong and willing to do anything to save the lands from the horrible invaders. The patchwork girl watched them carefully, looking more closely at them, their large red eyes, their pale skin, their sharp fangs, they were truly grotesque to look at properly. She wrinkled her nose and shook her head at them, what strange creatures they were, why on earth was it that they had to look that way, then again she supposed that if they were cute and fluffy then they would not make very good baddies, no-one was ever scared of an enemy that was small and fluffy; then again that would be a very good surprise, no-one would ever suspect the small bunny rabbit of being the enemy that was attacking the lands. The small female smiled at the male, turning back to look at him as he suggested that they might want to split up and be a distraction, that way they could take the leader unawares when the guards were distracted. She smiled at her friend.
"That sounds like a great idea, I'm faster at running than you probably and you're stronger than me, so I'll run over there and be the distraction and you can attack the leader, ok?" The patchwork girl replied, taking charge of the situation. She crawled a little way away from the male and then let out a war cry, leaping to her feet and starting to run. Already she could feel six red eyes on her back, well it seemed that she had gotten the guard's attention alright!

Well that makes two of us – the whole internet thing I mean. Mine went down last Sunday and I just got it back a few hours ago. No worries on the wait, your post is still all filled up with awesomeness! Marie also said she thought Robin/Liam pups would be the cutest, adorable-est thing ever... =D Quite frankly, I agree. LOL ♥ (813 words)

If Liam would have been able to read Robin's mind, he would have probably shrunk to the point of not existing anymore due to embarrassment. He had never really seen himself as a 'really great guy'. He had no idea what he wanted to do with his life, something that had always gotten him down. Looking at his father who was the King, and at his older sister 'Mara who had a son and mate, not to mention a high rank in the Cavalry tier, he just didn't know how to climb up to their level. He wanted to make his family proud, but when he looked at himself he sure didn't see what Robin seemed to see. He just saw 'Vigilante's son'. He didn't see anything special and he was worried that he would grow older and not find his true calling. Just her words though – the fact that she thought her siblings were happy to have him as a brother, made him grateful to have Robin as a friend. She was the one to be proud of though. She was already a little warrior, her ambitious dreams pushing her to do amazing things. Even now, at such a tender age, Liam knew she would be amazing one day. She already was amazing. For now though they were going to stay young a little longer and enjoy each other's company.

Liam chuckled, his chest moving to the rhythm of his laugh. His eyes lingered on the female as she fell to the floor, staying on her until she was on her feet again. A smile forever lingered on his dark, wolfish lips. “I know you are, and I am too.” he said when she told him she was only teasing with him. “I guess sometimes it's good though, to have some soft spots.” he added with a light shrug, as though he really couldn't care less about how hard or soft he happened to be. “Being all hard wouldn't be all that pleasant, really.” he admitted. He was a little bit squishy – especially around his belly area – and found that he was pretty comfortable. His mom's belly (when she wasn't pregnant) was squishy too and he remembered when he'd been younger. She would pick him up, or sometimes he would fall asleep leaning against her, and he would find her very much comfy. Noah had been pretty comfy too. The two had often slept alongside each other at night when they'd been real young and they had provided each other with nice, fluffy pillows.

The ugly Vampire Hunters? Now Liam doubted they were fluffy and squishy. To be honest he didn't really want to find out if they made comfortable pillows or not. They were a huge threat and they were likely to dominate the entire pack-lands if the two fierce little warriors didn't do something about them. He turned his head to look at Robin again when she added to his idea; she was probably right by assuming she was faster. She had less weight to carry around with her and her body was shaped like a runner's, unlike his own broad, muscular frame. However, considering his gender and advantage in size, he also knew she was right in assuming he was stronger. They definitely did make a hell of a team, didn't they? Two different builds, two different assets. With a nod of agreement, the Catori boy opened his mouth to speak. “Good luck, fair warrior!” he said, way too cheerful for a wolf throwing himself headfirst into battle – as fictional as said battle may be.

When Robin started to run, Liam did the same. However, he stayed quiet and worked to be a lot more stealthy, making his way in the opposing direction. He kept an eye on Robin the whole time so as to know what she was doing. He knew the guards were focused on Robin and decided that now was his chance. He leaped on the leader of the vampires, his legs landing cat-like on a half-broken tree. Of course, he was imagining a horse, which, as the tree wobbled due to his weight, bucked. It was threatening to send Liam falling to the ground but he kept his balance and swished his sword back and forth, slicing the leader a few times in the chest before realizing the evil creature was rapidly healing from his injury. Liam glanced at Robin – the guards knew about him now so he didn't try to be stealthy. “They can heal themselves! How do we kill them?” he asked. He didn't know about the actual vampires in the books humans had created, but he decided it would be a lot more fun if they didn't die right away. It would give the two young wolves a bigger challenge to overcome.

Sorry for the wair again, I have come to the conclusion that I suck Sad And they would be the cutest and most adorable babies ever, I have a plan for another thread for the pair of them soon if you would like? Well I have a plan for a small part of it anyway XD WC: 1036

It did not occur to the young patchwork girl that her compliments might embarrass her brown companion, after all she did not have much experience around those her own age, Linden would always be embarrassed if Robin said something nice to him, but that was what big brothers were supposed to do wasn't it? Felicity was very different as well, compliments were always very well received when they were given to her, it would set her about preening herself again, she was indeed a very girly girl. The small female knew that the male was probably quite a soft creature underneath his brave and noble exterior, but she decided not to push him too far today, sometimes teasing was better left unsaid, it was not the time, not when they had such vicious enemies to fight. The small female smiled at the brown pelted male as he said that he knew that she was only teasing him and that he was only teasing her back, it seemed that he had already figured her out as well, the good natured female could not bear the idea that she would have upset anyone, least of all her most dear friend. She smiled at him, giving him another playful shove as he said that. She was indeed proud to have the male as a friend, he seemed to know what he was planning to do with his life, he seemed to have it all figured out, just as the small female herself had done. The male added that he thought it was probably a good thing to have a few soft spots and the young girl nodded her multicoloured head, she agreed with him completely, to be completely hard and cold to others would have been horrible indeed. She could not imagine having such a tough skin that she could not allow anyone to become close to her or be her friend, the outgoing Aatte was so keen on making friends and keeping everyone in the pack happy she could not imagine what it would be like to not care about others. Worse still colder, harder wolves did not seem to care what others thought of them, the small girl wanted to be liked by everyone, she wanted to make her family and pack proud of her, she could not imagine what it would be like to not care what anyone thought of her.
"No," the small girl replied after consideration, "I don't think being all hard would be nice after all."

The young female smiled at the male as he seemed to lock his eyes upon the evil vampires that were stalking the lands. They would not be cuddly at all, no the small female was sure of that. They sat atop their horses, cold eyes staring out across the lands, Robin could guess that they did not care what others would think of them at all, they were the cold, hard kind of creatures that cared not about others, or about other's opinions of them. It seemed that all they wanted to do was conquer and feed, to make the wolves of the pack their slaves and feed from them. They would eat their fill, drinking the wolves' blood and then make the remaining creatures their slaves, building a great shield from the sun for them and erecting large statues of their leader. Yes, not only were they vicious pirates, they were also vampires and that made them twice the danger. She watched the male as he agreed to her plan, waiting for her to make her move, once she had done she kept her large blue eyes half on the vampires that were chasing her and half on the brown male as he stalked the vampires' leader. She was a little distracted by that swirling feeling in her stomach again, the male had called her fair warrior and sent her tummy off into fits and rolls, she had no idea what that was, why it happened, she made another note to make sure with her mother or father that she was not ill, because that would not do, not when she was training to become the greatest hero ever. A small smile touched her lips though as she felt the swirly feeling in her stomach, it was not a horrid feeling after all, but the confusion of why it was happening soon quashed the smile and then the focus returned. She was, after all, being chased by the horrid vampire guards after all and although the slender female was a rather quick runner, they were on horses and they were most definitely gaining on her, seeing that Liam had attacked the leader, the small female's confidence grew. With a loud cry she turned at the enemy, swinging her sword at them, slicing into one of the two headed horses chests and making it fall to the ground, for a moment she felt bad about having injured an innocent horse, but soon she noticed the cruelty in the remaining pair's eyes and so she knew that they were evil as well. She swung her sword at the vampire that had been riding the horse, noticing that almost as soon as her cut had been made that it healed over. It seemed that Liam had discovered this as well as he called to her loudly. A sudden memory came back to the female, the vampires in the book she had been reading had to be killed by a wooden stake to the heart, whatever that was, she supposed that it must have been a sharp stick, just like the one she was carrying, it had quickly morphed back from being a sword when she realised that the sword was useless. She plunged the stick into the vampire's chest and smiled as it crumbled to dust.
"You need to stab them in the heart with a sharp piece of wood Liam, that is what it said in the book!" She called to her friend as soon as she had realised that her plan had worked. It was at that moment that the small patchwork girl realised that the other two vampires had flanked her, oh dear... oh dear indeed.

Want to end this, then? I think it's a good thread for the foundation of their awesomeness... And I want to get to this new thread already! =p Maybe next post Haven can call Robin for a reason or another and they can part ways? 770 words)

Even if the words were going unsaid, Liam was still seeing all of the emotions as they passed through those pools of blue that were his best friend's eyes. He occasionally glanced at the patchwork Aatte and saw all of the thoughts that were going through her mind as though he had known her his entire life and not just a mere month. Her thoughts were going full speed ahead, dancing around the idea of his sensitiveness. Liam wondered how hard and how soft Robin truly was – he knew still didn't know her well enough to deduct that but one day he would figure it out. Realizing he had been looking at her for more than a few seconds, the brown-pelted Courtier glanced away in a bit of a haste, trying to seem indifferent and neutral. Yes he was embarrassed, perhaps, but surely he would never be upset at anything she said – no matter how blunt or how mean. He knew she was a good and honest creature who would never purposefully hurt him. Even if they hadn't known each other all that long, Liam knew that already and he prided himself in knowing he had such a good friend who wouldn't lie to him just to spare his feelings. The last thing he wanted was to be played like a fool – that was even worse than the short-lived hurt that came after the blunt truth. She agreed that being too hard wouldn't be good and Liam smiled to himself slightly. He shifted his weight from one leg to the next and sneaked yet another glance in Robin's direction.

As the vampires stood there, threatening, ready to harm, Liam wondered for a moment how this war would turn out. He was no longer thinking about the fact that it was a game. In his mind it was far from that. He wasn't even thinking about the fact that he could control these vampires – that they were all in his head. To the brown-pelted male, this was real. It was as real as war had ever been for him. When his first attempts at fighting the vampires failed and their injuries merely healed themselves up, Liam tried with the two-headed horses. He stabbed the leader's horse in the chest and a large squeal of terror and pain escaped the horse's two mouths. The leader of the vampires was angry. Really angry. Liam felt a large lump in his throat. It only took a second for the leader to grab Liam by the throat however and the brown-pelted Chevalier was suddenly stuck between a rock and a hard place – or, in this case, between a massive hand that was cutting his breath short. He was unable to get free! He stared at the vampire, menacing eyes staring into Liam's bi-colored ones. The vampire was daring Liam to make another move... But then Robin's words pierced his brain and a light seemed to suddenly flicker through all of the fog.

A sharp piece of wood. Unlike his friend, Liam didn't think about his sword and how it could change into anything he wanted it to be. Instead he glanced from the beasts' hearts to his surroundings. He wobbled slightly atop the lopsided tree trunk and then his bi-colored eyes landed on a pointy branch sticking out from the trunk a few feet from where he was standing. He picked the perfect time when the leader was least expecting it before giving a hard shove. Being so massive, Liam managed to get free from the leader's grasp and tried to edge closer to the branch but lost his balance and fell to the ground. “The vampire pushed me off!” he said loudly as he swiped his sword at the air in front of him and got back onto his feet. He tried again, hopping onto the tree trunk and grabbing the branch that was still stuck to the tree. He balanced himself out before attempting to break it away from the tree. It took him two attempts but he did prove to be successful and smiled triumphantly. “I got it!” he said and then swiped the newly acquired branch towards the vampire that was closest to him. Suddenly the evil creature vanished in a puff of dark smoke and Liam stabbed the next one, a grin on his face when the same thing happened once again. “I got them! Do you need help?” he asked as he hopped off the trunk and took a step forward in Robin's direction, his eyes locked on the remaining vampires.

That's fine with me, shall we have one more post each and then close this one up? Then we can start the next one! So much has happened it'll be good for them to have a catch up Smile WC: 861

The young patchwork girl had already joined her brown companion in feeling as if the pair had been friends forever, since their birth and not merely a few weeks. They were almost as close as family to one another, that was how Robin felt anyway, the whole pack were family and she was very pleased that she could consider Liam to be as important to her as family. She could not help but smile as she looked at him, watching his movements, in some ways they revealed his feelings, the large male seemed to have a lot of deep thinking going on beneath his calm exterior. The small girl was learning his little habits and ticks, learning to read him; she saw him as being her closest friend and so she wanted to know everything about him, she wanted to be the one who knew him best of all of the wolves in the pack, all of the wolves in his life, just as she wanted him to know her better than her siblings or any of the rest of the pack. The small Aatte did not know why she felt this way, she simply wanted to be close to this male, to be his best friend for his whole life. She just felt that there was something that the pair were destined to do, something that they were meant to do, something that would be important and life changing, they were going to do something wonderful, she new this, she could just feel it, they would prove themselves to be brave and noble and good members of the pack.

She had thought all of this before she had started running from the large vampires on their horses, perhaps she should have mentioned it to the male before they began this fight; she suddenly realised this as the danger of the situation occurred to her, after all they were fighting very fearsome foes, what if they did not win? What if the vampires managed to throw them into submission and defeated them? That could not happen, the pack would be in grave danger if the two young warriors ended up not being able to fight off these vampire pirates, if they failed then the pack would surely be doomed. The idea that her father would be easily able to see these large creatures off, along with the King of course, did not factor in the young female's mind, at this moment she and Liam were the only line of defence against these huge, cruel creatures. She watched as Liam was grabbed by the throat and panic suddenly swelled in her chest, for a moment she was ready to race across the land and attempt to rescue him, she could not lose him now, not now she had realised that he was destined to be her best friend forever, she was not about to see him fall to the horrid enemy. Unfortunately she was not in a position to go and help him, she was cornered by the large vampires on their horses, they seemed infuriated at the death of their companion, the injured horse lay upon the ground, attempting to bite at the young Aatte's ankles, and the other vampires and their steeds were getting slowly closer to her, advancing on her with cold eyes. With a shout it seemed that Liam had fallen from the branch, Robin began to get nervous, it seemed that these vampires were tough enemies, she did not want to lose her friend to them. But almost as soon as he cried that the vampire had pushed him from the tree he called that he had gotten a branch, the patchwork female's ears caught all of this, her eyes were not upon the brown Catori male, her eyes were locked on the vampires that were getting closer and closer. With a careful stab she managed to end the life of the horse, which puffed into a cloud of ash and purple smoke, this got rid of one of the problems, there was now nothing aiming to bite her feet and ankles.

But the small female was still being cornered, boxed in by the remaining two vampires, with a loud war cry one of them forced its two headed horse into a rear, aiming to kick the young girl in the face, luckily she was a quick creature and managed to skip out of the way quickly. At the same time she plunged her stick into the horse's chest, causing it to disappear as the other had done, the vampire was suddenly sat in thin air and fell to the ground with an undignified thud. At this moment she saw Liam advancing, saying that he had killed his enemies and asking if she wanted help.
"Yes! Do come and help please brave warrior!" The little female shouted, the vampire that had lost his horse had stood up, his full height being very imposing and he had drawn his sword. The small female held her stick up in defence and a rather intense sword fight began, the other vampire turning his horse to deal with the Catori male.

Eek, so short. This is my last post, then. =) Feel free to Power-play Liam leaving, depending on how you choose to close this. So excited for the next! (483 words)

Standing there, Liam thought of his future like this – he would be a good member of the pack, maybe even become King of Cour des Miracles one day following in his father's footsteps. He thought about going on many trips across the lands and discovering new things and meeting new people; perhaps – no wait, definitely – with Robin by his side. Just as a friend though. To be honest he had never thought of anyone as anything more than that. At least not in the romantic sense. He had his parents, his siblings and his fellow pack members. That was all he needed. Besides, he was still young. He didn't have to think about that kind of stuff yet. At least that was as far as he was concerned. Odd how he had thought about being a father and having pups – yet he had never once thought about the fact that having pups required two particular individuals.

But fighting these vampires also required more than one wolf and now that was something Liam could think about. The King's son let out an angry growl as he imagined the two vampires threatening to hurt Robin. He wanted to help her in any way possible – all he had to do now was wait for her word. And then she did tell him to come, dubbing him a brave warrior. Liam gave her a small smile as his insides tingled pleasantly. But then he remembered the vampires and any feeling he'd had about the nickname was pushed aside. After all, their game was much more important... says the romantically awkward male. He was so lucky the vampires weren't attractive females or else he'd probably be screwed. And not the good kind of screwed either.

Liam tightened his grip on his sword and joined Robin in battle, helping her vanquish the remaining evil vampires. He flicked and swiped his sword back and forth, slashing at the beasts. He managed to cut off the heads of the horse but the vampire jumped off its dead companion and leaped at Liam. The Catori male stabbed him with the wooden end of his sword but before the vampire could go up in smoke, he managed to bite Liam. The Chevalier fell to the ground in a heap and let out a short, playful howl. “I was bitten!” he said with false pain as he rolled around. “You'll need to kill me too or else I'll turn into one of them!” he cried out in despair. He dropped his sword and stretched his furry arms out cross-like to show that he had been defeated by the Vampires. Of course the whole thing probably didn't look real at all, for Liam was smirking like a buffoon, and given the grass was tickling his back, he was fidgeting a little too. Very much not dead. Or undead.
