I had fun threading with you guys. ^^ You can go ahead and post once more with Blind, and then we can say they went to the stream and call this done? Or you can go ahead and ask for it to be archived now. Up to you. :3

The dark girl’s chest swelled as she answered, as if proud to be trying to accomplish something. She said that she was looking for her father, and Vesper began to nod until Blind added that her mother had hated him. For a moment, the hybrid thought of her own mother and her evasive answers. She’d been less curious about her parentage, simply accepting the fact that they didn’t have a father, but Sparrow had been a little more anxious to find out…

“Be careful with that, Blind.” Vesper fixed the girl’s bicolor eyes in her icy blue ones. “The truth isn’t always kind.”

She gave no other cautionary statements, knowing that it wasn’t her business anyway. She wasn’t some votary bent on helping out others, but she hoped that the warning might make the girl reconsider what she might find. If her father was anything like Marcel…

Blind chuckled suddenly, standing and raising a forepaw awkwardly. She seemed prepared to leave, a sentiment that Zalen echoed as he stood as well. He mentioned a place for her to find water then paused for a few moments before awkwardly telling them that he would go home. As he walked away, Vesper followed his movements with her eyes, head cocked. She supposed there was no real reason for him to stick around, and she wasn’t quite disappointed, but she had the urge to express what their meeting had meant to her. After all, he’d given her some hope that there were luperci with sense; he’d made her feel like the norm rather than the exception.

“Goodbye, Zalen,” was all she called after him, her voice barely strong enough to travel. “You’re a decent wolf.”

She then glanced to Bilnd again, smirking slightly awkwardly as she looked her over and wondered what to do with her. With the wolves either dispersing or talking about dispersing, she had the urge to go on her own as well.

“Come on, then, sweetheart,” Vesper said crisply. “There’s an okay-sized stream somewhat west of here. I’ll walk you, then we can part ways.” She walked past the dark wolf, offering her a somewhat friendly glance before breaking out into a trot toward another section of the forest.
