The thunderstorm that he had found himself caught in upon his arrival to 'Souls was no longer present. It had rained all through the night but when he had woken up, he'd chosen to take advantage of the clear skies and head off to investigate. Gabriel, his leader, had warned him of the wolves and he took the words to heart. Because of this, he was slightly weary of venturing far from Inferni, knowing that the chance of encountering wolves beyond those borders were great.

It was a random course he'd decided to take, one that had led to Dans l'obscurité or more specifically, Whisper Beach. He'd followed the remnants of an old human pathway, strange as it was. Oxford had never understood much about humans, only what he could gather from books. Still, the nearly extinct species was alien to him and he chose not to dig too deep into their histories and former habits but if he happened to wander upon something that had once belonged to them, his interest was always piqued.

The road was on his mind for only a brief moment before his attention was turned to the flawless shores of Whisper Beach. He wasn't sure what had drawn him to the powdery sands, especially since it was not the best weather to be romping in ocean water. The sky was already very dark, despite it being nearly noon and Ox was sure the thunderstorms would return soon. Dropping to his rear, Ox stared blankly out towards the ocean, playing with the sand at his fingertips. It was a lovely view and almost peaceful. The beach was a good place to think, but Oxford found that his mind was as muddled as the skies above him.
