Backdated to the 7th, set during the raid. c:

The commotion was not missed by many, including the small family that lived away from the town and the hotel. Haven, being the pack's Knight, was of course one of the first to do anything. All of the things with AniWaya... Well, Princess could hardly be concerned about it herself, though she worried for her children. Perhaps not so much Linden or Robin, as both had inherited their father's daring and bravery, but Felicity was much like her mother. The young Lady Chance knew she was hardly the best at defending herself; it was simply not a priority, and she suspected that Fee might be similar.

As always, the woman was curious, more so than she should have known to be safe. Her children were adults in the pack, and though she could not order them to stay home and out of trouble, she had asked them to do so with as much authority as she could warrant in the situation. The pretty woman had then turned on her heels and left the house, despite the warning to her children, to find out what was going on. She had only gotten so far when she spotted a large hoofed animal with a rider on its dorsal surface. Unfortunately for her, he had seen her too.

Even with Anatoliy laying at her side Anann had not been sleeping soundly since the news of war had reached her and the Court had made its attempt at freeing the AniWayan captives. The thundering of hooves in the distance had awoken her before the black stallion had reached her cabin. Without any delay she had scrambled from the bed, waking Anatoliy in the process, and grabbed her swords were they hung from one of the rafters. Quickly she grabbed the leather bags the held the horses armor and dragged them outside where she began to ready herself and the horse. The AniWayans were attacking; there was no other reason that Rem would have come to her with such haste in the late evening. Rem's armor had already been at the ready, stored under the large table in her room and it only took a few minutes for her to get the critical pieces strapped in place and mount the large Friesian.

Rem began to take her north, where the horse knew the invading forces to have headed, but it was long before they saw a figure in distance. It was not a warrior, but the small and curvy frame of a woman. It was too dark to tell immediately whom it was Anann's mind jumped to the easy conclusions that it was likely either Princess or Ever. Neither of which should be out on their own on an evening such as this. Anann rode on towards the woman, but it seemed something else held the other's attention and it was a moment before Anann could make out the other horse and rider. The sounds of hooves warning her before sight of the coming danger.

Anann urged Rem to move quicker, though he hardly needed such instruction and the duo barreled onwards. In the darkness of night Anann was able to make out the figure of the rider, and though she could not see the bow, she could tell that the warrior had already drawn back an arrow. With sword already drawn Anann gave a loud battle cry in an attempt to divert the archer’s attention.

The gold-draped fur on the back of her neck stood on end as Princess recognized the weapon in the rider's arms, stretched taught with an arrow. She stood mesmerized by the sight, the thought of running completely out of her mind. This was not the first time Princess had been in a bad situation, but Haven was already ahead of her and could not save her this time. The rider continued his approach with weapon drawn, but the pretty woman simply stood there rigid, unable to move out of fear and disbelief.

Anann's battle cry triggered a series of events: The rider let go of the arrow at the same time as turning, startled by the sound, and Princess screamed as the arrow ripped through the air just to her left. The young Lady Chance fell backwards, landing roughly on the hard ground as the rider focused on Anann. He recognized that she was the threat here, not Princess. Despite having the attention drawn away from her, however, the woman remained on the ground, the fallen, distressed damsel that she always seemed to be.

I can't remember and Im too lazy to check atm, but I think both the npc on the raid are female? Anyway, Im going to assume that Anann is quite larger xD. Another round or two and we can probably call this good. I know you probably don't have much to post with Princess so if you'd rather I just wrap up the fight in this post let me know and Ill edit it up!

Over the sounds of pounding hooves and the sound of her own cry Anann could not hear the arrow whistle through the air as it was loosed, but she could hear the woman’s scream. The posture of the mounted archer was all there was to give away what was happening and there was no time for Anann to see if the air had hit its mark or not though the shriek lead her to believe that it had. Her focus never leaving the archer as they charged at one another. In the dim evening light the thin form of the bown and arrows was near invisible, the archer’s movements and postures were easy to read as another arrow was readied.

It was the edgeless blade that Anann had drawn. With the speed of her charging steed it hardly mattered the edge was significantly more than a razors edge. At a full charge it would hit hard enough to split skin and shatter bone. Another arrow was loosed, and Anann felt a sharp sting as it grazed her past her right shoulder and leaving mark of it's passing. Yet as they drew closer Anann did not prepare to strike at the other rider, instead she launched herself from the back of her own steed in hopes of landing behind the other rider and throwing them to the ground. However her timing was off or the momentum had simply been too great. Whatever the cause, both rider's were stripped from the back of the horse and landed heavily on the ground.

Anann had landed on the flat of her back, the air forced from her lungs as the archer landed on top of her. An elbow driving hard into her ribs. Still Anann managed to keep a hold on the other struggling canine with the arm she had wrapped around their chest. It left the golden warrior in poor position. She could not reach her dagger and her sword was rather useless at the moment and the other was not making it easy for her to get up or rolled over so that she might have an advantage. Claws, elbows and knees were being used by both as the struggled for control, for their lives.

I don't mind it going on for a few posts, or whatever, I can come up with something to write for her. x3 Also, I'm totes gonna pretend I remembered she was female, haha.

From her crumbled position on the ground, the lovely young woman watched as another arrow sailed towards her rescuer and a sword was drawn on the kingdom's side. Her vision was fairly limited now and the fear of being killed had caused an adrenaline rush; she found it hard to focus on what was going on, but she also could not look away from the two female warriors. They were like a different species to her, creatures of a completely different caliber. The young Lady Chance was the opposite of a warrior. This type of fighting was something she could never envision herself doing.

Her mouth fell open as Anann jumped to the back of the tribal horse and things only seemed to go downhill from there, both riders falling to the ground. Princess scrambled to her hands and knees, watching in earnest as the two battled on the ground for victory, the movement small, the fighting desperate. She wanted to help her fellow kingdom wolf in some way, but she did not know how to fight and she did not know how she could be useful. Princess had never had to defend herself; there had always been someone there to save her, whether it was Anselm, or Haven, or now Anann.

A chorus of growls and snarls filled the air as to the females struggled on the ground. A struggle that would have surely ended already if Anann sought only to kill the other wolf, but the amber woman would rather simply subdue the attacker if possible and perhaps they would be able to learn of the cause behind all this treachery. Eventually Anann was able to wrangle the other woman from on top of her and pinned her to the ground with a knee to the other's chest.

Breathing heavily, Anann quickly looked around her. Scanning for the female that had been the target of the mounted archer and saw her just a few yards off. "Princess, are you alright?" She asked. Her attention diverted for the wolf under her, the raider took the opportunity to pull an arrow from her quiver and drove the stone arrow head into Anann's outer thigh. Grimacing and gritting her teeth against the pain, the diversion caused Anann's grip to lax enough for the AniWayan to get free from her grasp. The archer rolled away as Anann got to her feet and broke the shaft of the arrow.

The AniWayan lunged in Princess direction, though Anann was right behind her, dagger drawn. Anann collided with the other woman yet again, though this time with deadly forced as the dagger was thrust under the woman's ribs and piercing her lung. Death for the other was already inevitable but in an act of mercy Anann swiftly cut the others throat rather than leaving her for her lungs to fill with blood and slowly drowned her.

Anann wiped her dagger in the grass to clean the worst of it off before returning it to its sheath. Taking a few steps towards the Chance woman Anann was quickly reminded of the arrowdhead lodged in her thigh. It would have to wait until this night was over. "Are you alright?" She asked again, still slightly short of breath. "You should get home."

lala I suck~

A piercing shriek of a scream met the sudden movement of the AniWayan, the beautiful woman of the kingdom terrified by the action, unable to move fast enough out of the way before Anann again rescued her. For the first time since she had collapsed to the ground in fright, Princess scrambled over the grass, gathering her bearings and pulling herself up onto her hands and knees. It took a moment for her to realize that she had just witnessed a life leaving a body, and when she did, she quickly shut her eyes, feeling faint. This was not the first time she had witnessed death at the hands of someone saving her, but it did not affect her any less this time.

"Yeah," she said quietly, the sound hardly more than a wispy breath. The woman's golden gaze locked on the arrow coming from her savior's thigh and the Chance woman paled at the sight; if she had stayed inside like she was supposed to, then this would not have happened. Anann would not have had to kill this woman of the tribe and she would not have been injured in the process.

The suggestion of going home was met with a mute nod, shock having taken control of the woman's body, her movements sluggish, numb. She looked up to Anann's face as she stood, hoping to convey to the woman that she was thankful and sorry, but she could not speak. Princess could only hope that the Cavalier woman would understand the meaning as she turned slowly, eyes unable to focus on anything but her home in the distance.
