Our pride page is looking terribly bare. And we wonder if you guys do truly care for your beloved overlords. :c So, to facilitate bragging and swaggers for CDM, we are hosting a contest to fill that bare page right up! You have seen other people with buttons and banners for their packs, so how about we do the same?
There will be several things you can do to show your pride that will be rewarded with prizes, points, and catacomb rights!
- There are a couple of categories in the contest that you may participate in.
Buttons: A uniform sized button (88x31) OR (80x15) to be put anywhere.
Banners: A uniform sized banner (468x60) to be in signatures, profiles, etc..
Other: Anything that doesn't fit. For examples see the 'Souls pride page. Please nothing that stretches the board; try to hover around 500 pixels wide. Refer to the graphics policy.
- You are able to submit three works into the contest. We won't accept substitutions so you better make them count!
- Send Strelein von Rosnete your finished submissions.

Not sure where to host your image? Use places like Imgur or Photobucket. Do you need images? Flickr is a good source for images. Just make sure you use the advanced search feature to find pictures you can use.
- October 25, 2011: Contest is open for submissions
- November 24, 2011: Submissions close at 8 PM (Click here to see it in your time zone!)
- November 25-30, 2011: Voting is open
- December 1, 2011: Winners announced!
- How much time do we have to make and submit pieces?
You have just over two weeks to do this. Time constraint is no excuse! That's two weekends! The date was extended to allow for more time!
- What combinations of submissions can we do?
Whatever you want! So long as you only submit three, you can do any combo of categories.
- If we win, can we opt out of prizes or change them up?
Yes! But you will have to have us approve a change, because some things are valued differently.
- What will the voting be like?
All of the submissions will be presented under their categories in a post, and everyone will post their favorites from each category. The ones with the most for each will be considered the winner for that category. Those with most votes overall will win the titled prizes.
- But what if there are ties?
It will still be scored by most votes. The prizes will simply be given to the tied works equally, not split.
Prize information
- First Place: 30 game points, custom permanent 3-word title, graphic of choice (table, sig, or avatar) by Gen, and Amethyst Catacomb.
- Second Place: 20 game points, CDM color temporary (3 month) title ("L'âme honorée"), and graphic of choice (table or sig)
- Third Place: 10 game points, CDM color temporary (1 month) title ("Soutien"), and a signature
- Every participant gets 25 game points right off the bat!
Winners of each individual category will receive an additional 15 game points.
