Also figured this could be forward dated a few days to about the 7th or 8th just after Bastion gets done delivering blankets to the slaves

Broken glass is luxury; Friendly fires are alchemy

Bastion was making the last of his rounds before he would head on back to his room in order to rest and relax with his small family. Strange how he had come to think of Janos and Enigma as family versus just his puppy and his puppy's pup. When had his thinking even become altered? He couldn't pinpoint it. Oh well, it probably didn't really matter anyways. It didn't concern him enough yet to think about talking it over with his puppy or anything. For all he knew it was just a passing something or another. Everyone was allowed to have their passing infatuations and flights of fancy. This was most likely his and would pass soon enough.

The small male left the village where the slaves's quarters were located at in order to head into the area of the ruins with the remains of his finds. He still had some thin blankets left that he could give away to whomever ended up needing them. the rest of the items contained within the cart had to be taken elsewhere. He had some sheets and bandages that he needed to show to Eris and see what she thought of them. He had also find some sharp stuff that he delighted in, scalpels and needles as well as some plastic thread, that he planned on taking to his room. They were things that he could use when he played with the prey animals of Salsola. Or they could even be taken to the enclave with him when he needed to do his job.

So yes it was only the blankets that he was carting about that he cared to get rid of since he had to take what else he had with him to other places. The boy glanced around the area where most of the rest of the family stayed and realized that he didn't know where a good portion lived. Actually, he only knew the location of the leaders since he had never bothered to figure out who the others of the family were or where they lived. So to solve that problem he simply sent up a short call that didn't have any urgency to it but was rather a query of who was about. He figured that whomever showed up he could give away the blankets to in order to help the family member prepare for the colder months that were destined to come. While he might not have lived in this exact area he had always lived up north so he was used to the frozen months that were just around the corner. He wasn't certain how many others here knew exactly what was ahead and if they knew to prepare for it or not. He could think of at least one member that he had met that chose to wear clothing even while inside of Salsola so he figured that if he could find no one else then maybe he could figure out where that male was to give him one since he already liked to cover himself up.

Hope you don't mind me tossing Clover in here! :3

Even before the sun had risen from behind the horizon, Clover was stretching long limbs and rising from her place of slumber. In the past few weeks, the girl had become intent on earning her place amongst her family of Salsola. It had been a little over four months since Sirius had enchanted her with his kingdom, and yet she still remained on the far edge of the family’s circle. She had come to realize she didn’t quite belong in Inferni, despite her name, and the last thing the coyote girl wanted was for Salsola to not feel like home. In fact, that was all the girl desperately wanted: a home.

So she made it a point to rise early, nimbly dressing in her usual denim and accessories before leaving behind her room in the Ruins. The short trek to Sirius’ chambers was quiet and dark, but the Lykoi did not mind. Her breath was soft, as were her footsteps, and she made sure she was in and out of his room before the first morning light fell upon the Salsolan kingdom.

With her quick morning duties complete, Clover aimed to trail back to her own room and prepare herself some tea from the herbs she had collected from the garden only days ago. Despite its ability to induce sleep, Clover figured a nice herbal tea steeped from lemon balm would be perfect for this cool morning. Before she made it back, however, she heard Bastion’s short call and decided to make a small detour. Her tea could wait, after all, and she would embrace the opportunity to strengthen the bonds with her developing family.

What’s that you’ve got there, love? Pale yellow eyes found the petite form of the male. Whereas Clover had the long, lean frame of a human super model, it seemed in comparison that Bastion was somewhat childlike with his subtle stature. Despite being similar in age, it induced that maternal side of Clover and she could feel the pull of wanting to fawn over him as if he were a puppy.

Broken glass is luxury; Friendly fires are alchemy

This really was a rarity for him. Bastion was more of the sort to do for himself and not concern himself with others. He really was a selfish little thing but the items that he had brought with him he didn't really have any concern for. Why did he need a blanket when his fur was thick enough to keep him warm? Besides that he also had Janos to be able to snuggle into. So yes, the blankets were a free for all. But then again Bastion had slowly been changing and growing a tad less selfish. Or so it would seem as so far his wants had fallen in line with those of Salsola and so he hadn't been put to the test just yet either.

The small male looked up as he was spoken to. He had grown entirely used to being thought to be much younger than he was. He was entirely used to being fawned over, and even babied a bit. So yes, he was used to others indulging him and spoiling him because of his physical appearance. And he had to say that he quite enjoyed it. But who wouldn't enjoy being catered to? He didn't have to do hardly anything for himself because of that treatment.

In that same stroke it also put others off guard and had them underestimating him. There were but a few that didn't. And of course it was those few that had been allowed to witness just what he was capable of. The small male could be quite vicious should the odds be stacked in his favor. After all he had a high rank for just that reason. He was able to complete his job easily enough and had to say that he quite enjoyed it as well.

"Blanket." The answer came out easily enough. Bastion reached into the bin and pulled out one of the wool blend blankets and held it up so that it could be inspected. "Want?" The lack of complete sentences from him was something that everyone surrounding him simply had to get used to. It wasn't that he lacked intelligence, actually more of the opposite was true, but simply that he was too lazy to speak more words than he needed to. Not to mention that it added to that childlike quality that others seemed to first notice in him.

The small male tilted his head as he looked up at the other and waited on some form of a response from her. Of course that action, along with the fact that he was still wearing his girly little panties with lace at the leg holes as he had just gotten back to Salsola, no doubt seemed to melt the hearts of many and having them wish to cuddle him. "Got another." He spoke as he pulled himself up onto the side of the bin so that he could lean his top half inside in order to dig out the plain white cotton sheet. Once he managed to snag the other piece of bedding he wiggled his way down off the bin so that his paws could rest firmly upon the ground again. The sheet was then held up for inspection as well.
