Forgive and forget

He didn't tell Sam he had left but it was another one of those nights where he often dreamed of the woman he had broken. He had to know she was alive and well. Shiloh Grant was burned into his mind and he often remembered her blood and her fear and how bad he broke her. Saxif had told him nothing and as he gathered some of his things he looked at the woman sleep in his bed. He was mated to her and she knew what he did to Shiloh and she still accepted him. He loved Sam with all his heart but what would happen to her if his past v
caught up to him and the chocolate male Saxif talked to so much found out she was mated to him. What if he got her pregnant and she was attacked. He had to clear things with Shiloh but how was he to find her? Sam had mentioned that she was in Ichika no Hoen and Rain was going to find Shiloh and confess his feelings and ask for forgiveness.

In his heart he knew he should be happy with Sam but his mind made it hard to stay happy. His mate was his reason for fixing things. His thought of the family they had yet to start but would have soon. He made his way out of Anathema and to neutral territory, picking a field Shiloh's scent was the strongest.... and waited for her to show.

She was happy that Sarian had decided to sleep with Kiara, her nightmares making her thrash in her sleep. She could still hear the whip cutting though the air, cutting though her fur and skin, making her bleed. She remembered the pain of having her ankle broken and the scream Saxif made as she fought Shilohs attacker. She remembered passing out, Saxif touching her, begging her to stay alive, that she loved her. All the blood and fighting and pain. Kavi made her forget but her subconscious made her remember and as Shiloh bolted up right she had a mo ent where memory became reality and she wished Saxif was there to soothe her, take away her pain and hurt and loss.

For a few moments her mind couldn't grasp a personality and she was numb before Shiloh took over and her tears brought her to her senses. On this partular morning Shiloh had decided to leave the apartment to clear her head. She put on her clothes and put on Saxif's dagger before leaving and walking slowly to the field she had found solice in. Everything was OK till his scent overwhelmed her and she started to hyperventalate as the man in her dreams stepped out of the shadows and looked her over. Her ears laid back in fear and she reached for her dagger, holding it in case he came closer. Kavi took over in an instant and bared her teeth at him before running at him, anger and rage controlling her."You demon! How dare you show your face here! How dare you! You have done enough damage to us. You almost killed us, you left us cripple. You are the reason Saxif is gone! She couldn't love a monster! She couldn't love Shiloh! she yelled lunging at him, swinging the dagger at him only to miss him.

If she would have stopped to look she would have noticed that Rain wasn't trying to fight her. She would have seen the pain in his eyes as he disarmed her on the second swing and pinned her to the ground, holding her wrists above her so she couldn't attack. She snapped at him and thrashed under him as he held her before sinking down and holding her with his weight. Oh things were about to get interesting.
