Roleplaying Example:
A tiny white shape shifted through the snow appearing to almost blend in with the white powder if it wasn’t for the small amount of black fur that stood out from the frozen terrain. Small oval eyes blinked open against the flurry of snow and gazed around with pale blue eyes, taking in her surroundings. The tiny pup crawled over a large clump of snow, using her tiny little legs to lift her up and forward as she struggled onward. She then let out a shrill yelp of both surprise and fear when the snow moved and rolled over her pinning her down. The little canine infant wiggled about her head bobbing as she whined and whimpered, giving in to the strange instincts that compelled her to continue. Another bellow echoed through the air; a low growl of bitter wind, its frosty bite piercing and cold.
Alexandrea awoke from her sleep with a start and gazed around in a frantic sleepy daze as she sat up in her small bed of sheets and dried straw. She let out a sigh of relief as she allowed the dream of her past faded in her memory. She kicked off the sheet and shifted through the straw beneath her as she moved to get up on her hind paws, reaching for her pale grey sweater and flicking off her bedding that still clung to her bushy tail. She should get to work. The young Luperci stretched and groaned, her blue eyes narrowed and triangular ears flattened as she felt her muscles eased and relaxed under her thick soft fur. Her pelt rippled as a slight chill went up her spin, finally starting to wake and became aware of conscious world.
She glanced over into the other room before she tip-toed to the entrance, gently pulling back the cloth that hung from the ceiling. She peered into the dark room and let her gaze fall on the form that lay in the bed. She stood there frozen in place and simply stared. She didn’t budge until she detected movement and she let out a hushed sigh. Her adopted grandmother was still with her. She leaned back and let the cloth fall over the entrance as she turned around and moved to her paints. She should get her things ready soon and start working right away.
Alexandrea’s ears perked when she heard a commotion outside of her home and she glanced up, trying to figure out what was going on in the village; was it an outsider? Her features brightened at the thought and she felt a joyful surge of energy at the opportunity that may be available to her. Outsiders may seek out her talents and that meant she could earn something soon; she might even be able to get something that could heal her guardian! With this locked firmly in her mind, she gathered up her paints and herbs and quickly headed to the main room. She was going to prepare right away and see if she could get any customers.
