WC:000+ - WHEE! Though, not sure when the date is on it? LOL I'm assuming it's before the disaster that will ensue, even if only by a few hours. LOL

Tal and Tameri were sitting in the living room reading a book. It was a simple book of fairy tales. Her favorite was about the little mermaid, she would ask him to read it to her again and again. And Tal, enchanted with his little girl and how quick she was growing, gave her her wish. Tameri had him wrapped around her little paws, and she knew it. She was just too sweet a child to take advantage of it. None of the pets were nearby, though his mate's pet cat was lurking around somewhere. Not that he had an issue with the kitten, but...they grew up.

He wasn't worried about the large feline, though, since he was again reading the story to Tameri. "And the little mermaid lived happily with her prince in his castle on the sea." Tameri turned a solemn gaze on her dad. "Whats a castle? Whats a sea?" Tal showed her the picture in the book of the tall stone castle on the sea. "This, my sweet, is a castle. It's made of bricks, to be sturdy and safe. And the sea is a beautiful thing. My mother, Deuce, used to live on the sea in a pack called Syemv. They were Russian Pirates." His eyes glittered as she hid her face in the couch cushions, pretending to be scared.
He lowered his voice to tease her. "Their favorite thing to do is to tickle little girls!" He dived forward, tickling her belly, both of them laughing together. The sounds of their merriment could be heard throughout the house as they playfully wrestled each other.

The Witch Doctor

Word Count → 368 :: I figure this could be a few weeks after part one. I can back-date that one. xD Forgot to originally.

The playful sounds carried into the yard where Sky had been sitting, getting some fresh air. Fella had decided to stay inside, but he watched her from the window, blue eyes never leaving her for a moment. Anyone else would've thought it to be unsettling, having a bobcat watching your every move, but Sky knew better; he was watching to make sure she didn't leave. The kitten was protective of her, though to her releif, not in a violent way. Constantly at her heels, now that he could walk quick enough to keep up with her. Fella had, in a way, become a second child for Sky; already, he was speaking tiny amounts of high-speech. She couldn't be more proud. Of both of her children, cat and wolf alike.

Eventually, she was stirred into standing. Why? A familiar feeling in her lower back. A sort of dull ache, one that she didn't have normally. Flashes of her sons reminded her of where she'd felt it before and a smile played on her face. She slipped inside without a word to her mate and daughter, leaving them to their play for the time being. Fella bounced along at her heels.

She slipped into the supply closet and rummaged around... until she found a tiny set of bottles with clearish liquids in them. She took them with her as she fled to the... outhouse... for a moment alone. Fella sat outside the door quietly, waiting for her to come back out.

A liquid turned blue. Positive. Sky had never been more grateful to humans for inventing these old fashioned pregnancy tests; simply add urine to chemicals and boom, instant answer. No waiting, no worrying. And this time, it was a sound yes. She had finally managed to get pregnant!

With a grin on her face, she hurried out of the... outhouse... bathroom... area... and darted into the livingroom, only to stop at the door with a grin on her face, leaning on the frame with Fella filling the space on the other side. Can Mum interrupt for a moment? I've got some good news. Her voice was excited, but controlled to be motherly for Tammy. She'd never been more excited.

As Sky was coming back into the living room, Tal was grinning at Tameri snuggling against a stuffed bear he'd given her. She had just promised him that when she started shifting -if she did- she would make the bear clothes. He kissed the top of his head, then stood to grin crookedly at his beautiful mate. There was a gleam in her eye, a note in her voice. He cocked his head, smiling. "What's going on, love?"

Tameri cuddled up to her teddy bear in the couch cushion, her tail wagging as she looked adoringly between mom and dad. Her blue eyes were wide, and excited. She mostly looked at Sky, sensing something big was happening now, something amazing and awesome. She cocked her head, blinking her cobalt blue eyes.

Tal put his hands in his back pocket, inviting Sky into the room with a smile. He was eager to see what had her in such a good mood, though the slight change in her scent gave him a tiny clue. He wondered for a moment if perhaps seed had taken hold. He glanced at Tameri, who's eyes were fixated on her mom, then looked back to his mate. "Don't keep us in suspense, beloved."
