Perhaps she needed to toughen up. Her soft heart had lead her to fall to pity to the creature. Keshi moved slowly beneath her, automatically cautious, well aware of the cargo his master held. The bear skin rug he usually wore had been removed, not that he was bothered too much. It was cold, yes, but he understood that Odessa would never take the rug away without dire need. The pumpkin eyed girl's cloak was worn by her, if only to contain her body heat. The bundle in her arms fidgeted. Perhaps she should have left him to die. She traded a lot for him considering his age and health, maybe he'd just die anyway even with Odessa's aid. She was too soft, Odessa had come to this conclusion some time ago. Frowning down at the bundle, the Margay kitten chewed on the fold of the bear skin. Odessa assumed he was taken from his mother too early, she'd read about it some where. Only as a passing glance, she only wished she could remember the book to reference it again.

Home was in sight, A pleasant sight, for the girl to see. The kitten had been poorly care for by the traders. She had been told it originated from Argentina, and was, to quote 'month, two month old?' by the traders who she assumed had travelled from the same region. Odessa remembered reading a book on medicine, and coming across a section about rainforest and the photo credit went to a person named 'Juan'. She had already titled the Margay as such, figuring she'd need something to reference it by. Perhaps she was being too harsh, she had attempted to feed him titbits of meat on the journey and he'd eaten them. So perhaps there was home for him anyhow. Home was in sight and Odessa dismounted quickly before moving inside. Allowing Keshi to brave the elements like every night.
