The fiercy woman had begun her day following Zana through the unclaimed territories but it hadn't taken her long after entering the uncharted lands to turn herself about. She knew that it wouldn't have been hard to find her half sister's trail again but she really didn't care to follow the boring welp at her games. Instead she had found something even more interesting and something that would do better to serve her own needs at this moment in time.

She had thought of returning to the Court but it didn't seem like something that perked her interests just now. Instead the woman had spent her days plotting over the packs she knew about and learning about those she didn't. It seemed fair foolish to have to play at games to obtain entry to the dark mystic pack to the northwestern reaches, and all the peaceloving wolves were beginning to make her sick. She missed the darker streak of life she once had.. she missed the adventure and adrienaline that raced through her veins. A lot had changed though since she'd left..

Today though she'd found a half caved in home of sorts dug into the very earth of the hillside. She had realized that there were quite a few of them, all seemingly human made. She'd found under the dirt and decay remnance of tools and other artifacts, a slight idea was buzzing in the back of her mind but just now she had decided to make the ruins her own claimed territory. She would start her day off by cleaning out the years of decay and dirt from the first dug in home she had found.

I think she would like Liam. LOL

He had made his way over the mountains, and was wandering the burned lands, when he happened across a fresh scent trail. It was fascinating, really, how far one could go. His wounds had healed, though the gash on his face would leave a scar, as would the one on his chest. It didn't matter. Neither did the stupid wolves in the D'Arte pack. They were fools, they didn't understand the magnificence of the butterflies. Neither did Ayasha, truth be told.

It was interesting how far one could go, how far one could wander into these ghost inhabited lands. And yet, that scent still tugged at him, calling him and beckoning him. He followed it to a cliff side where it looked like places were carved out of the earth. Scuffling sounds drew his attention, and he followed with interest. The scent was stronger, and he grinned crookedly, his tail wagging idly. After a moment, he called out. "Hello there! Anyone home?"

No, his experience with Amy hadn't taught him a damn thing.

Firefly had left her small feline companion back in the hull of the old ship she'd been staying in. She had figured he wouldn't want to trampse through the woods and while she wasn't certain if she had wanted to either at least she had found something worth her time this day. Her emerald eyes scanned the dim light inside the old dug in house as she began to push the debri and decaying matter towards the entrance to what was to become her new den. She was rather impressed with the amount of space inside and she realized with the wall being packed clay that it wouldn't be much to dig out the den further, even if winter was sinking in and the dirt would soon become near frozen solid.

She had been at her task for a while when the sound of pawpads upon the ground caught her attention and a voice called out. The silvery gold woman frowned, not expecting anyone out this far but not surprised either. Unclaimed lands rarely stayed unclaimed for long. She shook the dirt from her pelt and stepped into the entrance to the strange den as she asked. "And what if there is?" Her emerald eyes eyeing the male before her as she wondered just what he was about. There was no scent of a pack or clan upon him so she figured she didn't have much to worry about anyone else really finding her home just yet. Instead she brushed a hand through her thick red curls as she raised a brow at the male and waited for a reply.

The she-wolf in front of his raised an eyebrow, and he mirrored the movement unconsciously. "And what if there is?" He shrugged, grinning crookedly, his deep pools of amber almost seeming to laugh. "I don't know. Was just being curious is all." Semi-mindful of the lesson from Amy, he surreptitiously scanned the area. The fiery looking woman didn't seem to harbor any shadows, but that didn't mean he was going to be stupid like he was with Amy.

"What is someone as pretty as you doing so far away from supposed civilization? Though I have to admit it is rather nice out here, if you ignore all the burned wastelands you had to cross to get here." It had been quite the adventure, too. It was fascinating to see the damage from the fire, and to know he could cause something like that himself. And, oh, how he wanted to. He wanted to burn something, just to see how it felt to cause so much mayhem and destruction.

His eyes traveled the woman's form, though not in a licentious way; he wasn't really looking for sexual gratification. And besides, something told him this woman would be worse than Amy in some manner, even if it was temperament rather than her sanity or lack thereof. She somehow looked like someone who had been there, and done that too.

After a moment of guarded study, he introduced himself. "I'm Liam, a wanderer looking for a home. But don't worry, I ain't out to steal yours." He winked teasingly, referring to the den looking place she was pushing dirt out of.
