RP Example 1

The pile of blankets Dalgina was snuggled in was soft and warm. The fuzz comforted her, feeling rather like a short knitted fur. Nearby her siblings nestled in, as drowsy and content as she was. Her nose twitched, smelling the air for her mother. She was getting hungry, and with her eyes still closed needed to smell for her mother. Reassuringly close the smell of her mother filled the air. Short legs helped propel her through the cloth, a long battle through layers and layers of cloth that tripped her tiny clumsy puppy paws. By the time she reached the source of warmth, Dalgina was exhausted.

For a brief moment she suckled, drawing out the milk that filled her belly. It was sweet and warm, and very filling. Her goal met Dalgina pulled away. Snuggling back into the warmth of the nest around her Dalgina sighed in contentment. It was so nice and warm. Her eyes began to feel heavy. In the distance she could hear the whimpering of her siblings as they shifted around. Quietly she fell asleep, at peace with the tiny universe she lived in. Tomorrow, she decided, tomorrow she'd find an easier way to move. For now though, dreams of color filled her mind.

RP Example 2

Happily Dalgina let out a sharp bark. White stuff fell from the sky around her. She had no idea what it was, just that it was a little chilly when it touched her nose. Whining with excitement Dalgina pushed herself forward. The snow leaped up to meet her tumbling body, pulling her into a deep cold embrace. Dalgina stuck her head back out of the drift she'd fallen into, nose twitching happily. She could smell her family nearby, making her safe and secure.

Diving back in Dalgina rooted through the small cave her body had formed in the snow. Lapping at it Dalgina pulled back with a snort. It tasted funny! As soon as she touched it with her tongue the snow melted into water. It was very peculiar. Wondering if it would work if she did it again Dalgina stretched out and licked the snow. Sure enough, it became water. Pleased with the discovery Dalgina took a huge bite. She'd turn all of it to water! The snow was too cold though, leaving her spluttering. That wasn't supposed to happen! Whining Dalgina stared in frustration. Her mother's call reached her ears, and Dalgina bounded back over the snow to meet them.
