Zana had been following her young nephew across the lands and much to her surprise the rascal had somehow evaded her. She snarled in annoyance as she realized that now she would have to show the youngster that not everything in life was a game and that there were real dangers out there. She was only angry at the boy for a moment before fear spiked her heart. What if he found out the hard way that there were real dangers out there before she could teach him. A shiver rolled down her spine as the small woman back tracked through the clan's lands, finding the spot where the child had hid from her when she was tending to a few thistles that Sup-Sup had got firmly bedded in his nose. She quickly turned down the tiny prey trail he had taken and realized that the path lead right down to the river and out of clan territory.

Her heart hammered fast in her chest as she flew on ebony paws across the land, keeping the scent of the young boy fresh in her mind as she passed by places he had stopped, fear creeping and crawling into her thoughts as she couldn't help but believe that the boy had been foolish to go near the river. It was iced over along the edge but she doubted that it would hold either of their weight, and she weighed less than Timori did in this form. Her eyes scanned across the lands as she dashed down the small path, weaving it's way closer and closer to the river as a small whine of panic rose in her throat.

Relief flowed over her tense body as she believed she spotted his stormy pelt further ahead, still padding down the trail but not near enough to the river to worry the young nursemaid just yet. She caught the scent of another in the area though and snarled, wondering if the boy had just escaped on his own or if he had been edged along in some foolish game. Her fangs were bared as she raced down the dirt path, the flurry of snow that was powdering the surface of the ground did nothing to slow her down as she thundered towards her young nephew and this unknown nuisance she would take care of soon enough.
