Firefly knew that she should have just brought the young child to Zana when she first arrived, besides, it was what she had been asked to do, but a few more days in her care hadn't hurt the child and she had wanted to test the waters of the clan first and foremost. While it seemed that Zana would tolerate her appearance at the borders she knew that they were still weary of her kind and she was still expected to gravel like a dog. A dog she was not, and graveling was never something the woman had done, even when she had been imprisoned in the clan. Now that she understood what grounds the clan was on, though leadership had changed it seemed that nothing else had.

She had returned once more to the border of their lands, her crimson locks glossy and perfect as she carried the small boy cradled in her arms. She was returning a de le Poer child to the clan, something that the clan hadn't done when her own sister had wandered to their borders, here she would show the difference between a true canine and the cowards of the clan. They seemed to want to start trouble but in her own experience they had never wanted to finish it. She gazed down at the small sleeping boy, his markings so much like his father, but those eyes belonged to a Sadira child. She hadn't said anything when Ryan and DaVinci had asked her to bring him on her voyage to these lands but she doubted in her heart the boy would stay within the clan.

She lifted her head and let out a pure and solid howl. A voice that belonged to a wolf called Zana to the borders once again. She didn't care who heard, what trouble she brought upon her sister, or who else might show. She was fulfilling her side of a pact between sibling, and now poor Zana who had no clue of her own role she would soon play would begin her own duty to their family. She smiled bitterly at the idea and waited.

She had made a promise to bring him this far, but she had also made a vow to herself that when the time came and questions he had about his duel heritage, questions she would answer. He was wolf through and through. The color of his pelt alone showed that, and though his ears were tapered and slim she doubted they would blossom into the true ears of a coyote. Even his muzzle was short and thick. She smiled to herself as she studied her little nephew. Yes, she would be there when the clan failed him, in time, in time, she knew.

The vixen hued woman had been cleaning up her small den when the call rose through the air. She snarled in annoyance at her foolish bitch of a sister for calling on the borders again. She already had found herself in a bit of trouble with some of the clan assuming they knew more than they did, she didn't need her wolf sibling sitting on the borders hounding their lands waiting for her pygmy sister to come calling. She knew that Firefly did this to annoy her and she hoped that the bitch met up with another clan mate before she got there. The small woman slowly climbed from her den, intent on making her Sadira sibling wait a long damn time before she came to her beck and call.

The tiny woman took each step slow and steady until she reached the borders, stopping to check on the markers at the edge of their lands every few yards until she came upon the sight she wished not to see lingering on the edge of their lands. Her grey lilac eyes glared at the woman for a moment until she realized just what she held in her arms. The small Lykoi's heart skipped a beat a moment then wondered just what in the hell Firefly was doing bringing a child so close to their borders. She doubted that a few in the clan would have a problem killing a child. A snarl raised in her throat as she stepped forward, wishing that she had moved a little bit faster now that there was a real reason for Firefly's appearance at the border.

Her ears pinned back as she glared at her sister for a moment before asking dryly. "Don't tell me you finally laid low with one of our kind.." but the question was dropped as she realized just who the child looked like. Her grey lilac orbs narrowing as she felt a chill race down her spine. "Where are it's parents...where's Da.." She swallowed before her voice choked on the words. She didn't want to think where Ryan and DaVinci were if Firefly was present with a child that could only belong to their absent sibling. None of this seemed to bode well with the small hybrid as her heart began to race.
