It had been a while since she had chosen to return to these lands; Siobhan had managed to find the long lost brother that she had barely remembered by pure luck and had begged him to return with her to the lands that she remembered. These territories had been the only place she'd ever really felt at home at; the hospital that Raoul had worked at hadn't been a very nice place to live. The psychotic luperci that occupied the mental hospital had nearly driven her crazy with their antics and strange ways of living. It had taken her a while to convince her brother that he should leave his work to come back with her...but then, he'd never really agreed with the techniques that the other "doctors" used on those patients anyway.
Her sibling had brought one of the crazies with them, much to Siobhan's dismay. The patient was a girl who was thought to have been very deeply mentally disturbed. The girl didn't seem too bad to Siobhan...but then, the socially awkward coyote had trouble getting along with nearly everybody that she came in contact with. Raoul seemed to have some sort of feelings for this canine, who he called "Patient X", and had taken responsibility for her and her well-being. As long as he kept her out of Siobhan's way, she had no real problem with her tagging along. PX was a good enough scout.
The white coyote was heading for the last place she'd been, the location that she thought Haven might still be living at. She had often wondered what the male would think of her now that she'd left, if he held animosity toward her or had become at peace with her leaving...she didn't expect a warm welcome. She only wanted to know that he was alive, well, and happy with the way that his life was going. Then she too would move on to someplace bigger and better. Inferni would not take her back due to her joining Cour des Miracles...so she would need to find someplace else for herself, Raoul, and the girl to live. Maybe the Miracles pack would take them in since she'd lived there previously.
Siobhan sighed to herself as she padded through the snow. She had left Raoul and Patient X to do this by herself, but it wasn't as interesting a journey without them. She wasn't very far from the pack borders, she hoped. It was starting to snow giant snowflakes around her, large clumps of it falling from the sky and melting as soon as they came in contact with her fur. She reached up to button her cloak quickly, feeling the coldness of the melted water against her fur and shivering slightly. The red-eyed female paused to check her surroundings, looking this way and that. Some things looked familiar...but so much had changed. Was this the right area? She gave a small sniff at the breeze, trying to figure out how far away she was from the pack. The entire idea of approaching it made her very nervous, but she tried to hide this. She stuck her hands into the pockets of the long red cloak she wore, continuing on her way toward Cour des Miracles.
It didn't take long for her to find the borderline. Very suddenly, she realized that she missed the place. Everything here looked just as she remembered it, and her heart ached to rejoin the pack that had housed her before she'd roughly abandoned it. She could go back for her brother and Patient X after she spoke with someone about coming back...they would have to rejoin with her. Whether Haven was in this pack or not, whether he hated her or not...this place was her home. Hopefully someone else would be the one to find her at the borderline and accept her. A canine was quick to greet her and question her, something that she was grateful for. Upon finding out that she was a past member, her joining process seemed a bit easier. Siobhan said her thank-yous to the canine that had allowed her to rejoin, beginning to pad toward Haven's house once more. Hopefully he'd be home...and if not, then she had a nice new place to live. She would tell Raoul and Patient X of this place...and they would join her in the next day or two.
