Dirty brown paws moved thought the lands, the male vowed that he would check out every pack lands at least once before he even thought about making a pack believe that he was something that they needed. The hybrid male knew that he couldn’t very well offer his full loyalty to a pack or clan if he did not know what they stood for. Rojo did not want to just join any old group. He was very good at being strong willed that way.

The male moved though the land of the loners as he found the scent of a pack, the male lowered his nose down to the ground following the trail that was clearly marked by some other beings.

The hybrid male stopped just short of the borders, he lifted a paw, almost trying to pump him-self up into moving further, he wanted to dishonor the family that told him to leave, to leave and never come back. He wanted them to see him doing something so wrong that they dared to fight him, he would kill them, he would kill them just as he had the pack (or well he assumed since not many are able to live past a fire)
The hybrid male was not able to move forward, so he figured he would let them know he was here.

Yipping as he took his muzzle to the sky, then bring it down he looked around as he started to pace back and forth. He wanted to know they this pack was worthy of having the title of a pack. It would give him the knowledge if he needed to destroy these lands, ignore them or think about joining them.

It was time to go hunting again. Her wounds were healing well, the scars were not as red and didn't bother her as much. Her movement was less restricted and her fur had started to cover up the scars on her neck and shoulder. There wasn't much she could do about the spiral on her belly. It was the worst out of all her scars and it was taking the longest to heal. As Kiara stretched out, she tested the scars, making sure that they didn't give her too much trouble. It felt good to stretch out her back and legs. She worked carefully, if she was wrong then there could be disastrous consequences.

When the arctic wolf was satisfied that her wounds would hold up she headed out. They needed meat, and badly. Shiloh was not doing well, Sarian needed to be fed, and Aleo was just plain useless. Kiara trotted through the mountains and thought about everything that had happened recently. There were many good things that had happened, while there were also many bad experiences. It was a wonder the snow wolf didn't just break from the stress.

A stranger's howl broke through the forest, it had the yipping quality of a coyote. Kiara wondered if it might be Vesper, she didn't recognize the voice though. For a while the arctic wolf debated whether or no she should respond to the call. But...she couldn't just leave and pretend like she never heard it. After all, one should always greet visitors with open arms and a friendly smile. Reluctantly Kiara headed off in the direction of the call. With some luck she could get the meeting over with quickly and reduce her interaction with the stranger. The snow wolf still didn't like meeting with strangers, despite her meeting with Insomnia.

Hesitantly she approached the boarder, wondering what the stranger could possibly want. Standing just beyond it was a grey and tan coywolf. She stopped several yards away, her head and tail were down and her ears were tipped forward. With a small bow she said, "N...Namaste. My name is Kiara Amarok, the Ikusei for Ichika no Ho-en. How can I help you." Her voice was a little hesitant, the fear coloring it just slightly.

Smiling the male saw the lady, marked as she was, it was still a female, and a female was just want he wanted to have met him at the borders. A female’s as a whole was not as short tempered as males. He knew that a female had a motherly factor that they felt they needed to heal anything that might be broken right down the spring bird that its mother pushes it form the nest because it’s sick. It was engrained in just about every female, well about every kid wanting female.

So the male did what he knew would get to her, he lowered his head and smiled at her, her words allowed him to feel some of her feelings, it was fear, fear masked but the knowledge that she had a pack behind her if he would try anything. To the coywolf male he knew he would have to play his cards right if he was going to gain her trust. Trust was something that he needed if he was ever to have a war.

”Such a pretty name…it’s very fitting. I’m Romeo , Romeo Dragoste!” So it was a lie, he didn’t want her knowing his name, he wanted to keep his real unspoken for right now.

The strange male smiled at her approach, like he was so happy to see her. Kiara didn't know this grey male and she wondered why he seemed so pleased. It was like a great big joke and only one of them knew the punchline. His smile didn't make the snow wolf feel any easier. His smile was like Amy's, sickly sweet with a darker purpose behind it. If anything this just made her more on edge. However, the she wolf did realize that the ill intentions of this male might all be in her head. In the time before her attack Kiara would have greeted him with no cynicism. But now she saw dangers around every corner and ill intentions in every stranger. Perhaps this male just wanted to say high, or he might be interested in joining and was simply trying to make a good impression. Despite her reassurances the snow wolf still shifted uneasily, she just wanted to get this over with and return to her business.

The male lowered his head and smiled again. This time his smile reminded Kiara of Thoirní and she wondered why the silver male came to mind. His words said it all. Kiara tilted her head to the side, unsure of how to respond. They were sweet words, designed to throw her off balance and make her drop her guard. However, compared to Thoirní, who was a master womanizer, this male's words were simple and easy to see through. His voice did not contain the fluid music of that the insatiable womanizer used. Kiara's experience with Amy taught her to never drop her guard around strangers. Kiara knew from her experience with Thoirní that if she wanted to beat his sweet words she needed to treat him like she treated everyone else. At the moment, that was with fear and suspicion; so the arctic wolf switched to plan B. She would treat him like X'yrin would and greet him properly.

Straitening her head she dipped into a bow again and smoothly said, "It is nice to meet you Romeo Dragoste. How can I help you?" The snow wolf winced a little as she stepped out of the bow, her shoulder and neck briefly protesting the movement. She didn't see through his lies and had no idea that Romeo wasn't his real name. Kiara's only thought was how to make this end quickly. If Kiara could find out what 'Romeo' wanted, she could assist him and be off. This male scared Kiara, he reminded her too much of Amy. But at the same time his similarity to Thoirní made her less wary but more alert. If the silver male was anything to go by Kiara would be in for a tough ride.

He was a snake, he would slither his way into the heart of someone earn the trust, and then he would take them down to his level and use them and make them bend to his ways, he was young, and used that youth on his side, however with his youth came with some flaws. He still had to work on his timing and the length to wait around before applying his false feelings to these ladies.

Watching the lady as she shifted around, the male was coming off strong, however he wasn’t sure if that was who was, always fearing what could come from the around the corner, or scared of the clown that going to jump out at her from the next page of the book. He was going to have to watch her, if she was jumping at him already he was going to have a heck of a time winning her over to his side and getting her to trust him fully.

Eye the color of toxic acid watching her body sway and relaxed a bit, he wasn’t sure if it was because she was seeing he wasn’t going to hurt her…yet or if there was other of her that was shifting in. ”OH nice to meet you Lady Kiara.” The male took another movement forward, not as big as a step, but maybe a shifting in his weight, he bowed down to her, keeping his eyes upon her. He would have her, even if it was a visit that he would have to repeat more than once.

”Well Lady of the Lands, I am new around here. I am looking for a home that isn’t a just right now home. Would a fair lady with a voice on an angle and eyes the color of the heaven above be willing to show me around? I am slightly interested learning more about these lands.” He need to pace him-self he was starting to come on way to strong, he brought him-self back up from the bow, never once though did his green eyes come off of his target. ”That is if you’re not too busy and won’t mind wasting your time on someone like me.” He shifted his eye brows so that they were softer and rolled his shoulders back and relaxed them a bit to make him-self a little more sympathetic looking to her.

The male was willing to do whatever it took to win her trust, and not just the temporary false trust that so many times he had seen it, it might not even be safe for the white female to brush off his try at being nice to see the lands, he was really trying, and he was a bit blunt with his demands but wolfs where pretty stupid creatures, his mother was a prime example of that.

There was something wrong with the way Romeo stared at her, but Kiara couldn't quite place it. The strange male had the words of Thoirní but the smile of Amy and it made Kiara very uncomfortable. Kiara tried her best to seem calm and composed but she shifted uneasily when he moved forward slightly. Get a grip, he is being nice and your treating him like someone suspicious. Kiara's self scolding helped a little. She knew it was folly to be suspicious of everyone who happened to pass her by. So rather than listening to her instincts she listened to her head.

Romeo's bow was curious, he tipped his head down yet never stopped looking at Kiara. His words also suggested that he fancied her at some level. The sweet phrases were getting to her but perhaps not in the way the male intended them too. Kiara realized that the chances of Romeo being a luperci were fairly high. She had only met two others like herself in Nova Scotia and after her fright with Amy, Kiara no longer thought about becoming a luperci. Which meant, all male luperci were out of her strike zone. The snow wolf shifted anxiously again, but this time for a completely different reason.

She tried her best to smile, she really did. It wasn't her usual toothy grins, but she hope that it at least seemed friendly or polite. "Ichika always welcomes travelers. If you require a safe place to rest for one or two days we will be more than happy to let you stay with us. As for Ichika itself, we are a peaceful pack." It really wasn't Kiara's day. If Romeo decided to stay in Ichika for a while then she would be in charge of him and she would have to make sure that all of his needs were taken care of and that nothing happened during his stay. With an injured Shiloh at home and a drunk Aleo this would be a difficult situation. Now Kiara was really regretting ever answering his call.

She was meat to him, fresh meat. He would take her for the ride, use her and eat her alive. He needed and wanted her to trust him; each stupid smelly wolf had a very important part to play in his twisted sick mind. She might not have been casted for her rule just yet in the grand master plan, but she would have one. The more she would trust him the better chance her role was going to be more and more important. His paws shifted he wanted to move, standing here would only make him think of what else he was going to do to destroy all wolves. It would start with her she would be the start of the dominos that would end them all.

The fuzzy coyote wolf male stepped forward pushing his head under her chin, as he held his breath, nuzzling the lady. Not only did she smell like a musky, damp, wet dog, and that was one of the most disgusting smells to him, but he wanted to make sure that his scent was all over her’s.

Stepping back he again matched eyes with her, looking at her, studying her body and taking in every single scar, and making that was upon her body. ”Thank you, but are you willing to show me around?” He asked questioning her further and seeing how far her good warm will would go. Stepping back he brought a paw up to his chest, making an “o” shape with his lips. ”I mean if you are busy, which I am very sure you are….being so stunning, and pretty that you are. I’m sure you busy beating all the guys off with your wonderful pup white teeth.” The male dipped his maw taking his eyes off her for the short amount of time.

If she was going to escape she had given him the okay to walk into the pack lands, and that would be when he would kill her. The more he thought about it the more he wanted her to run; it would give him a thrill of a hunt. He wanted to feel his mouth around her neck, crushing her wind pipes, and then when she places her paw upon his shoulder begging him to let go of her he would let up just that second to see that shimmer of hope and fear in her eyes and that would be when he would snap her neck off and then he would lay there and groom her coat, till that wolf smell was off of her and she smelt like one of his kinds.

Leaving the den was not out of want, but of necessity. As the foreign call stirred her from her idle state, she made toward it not in haste, but a purposeful stride none the less. The events of the days past were still fresh upon her mind, as were the consequences of it. The barren womb carried a weight all its own that slumped the woman’s otherwise confident posture. Her only saving grace that retained some remnant of care to her person were the neatly woven cords that descended the length of her back, some spilling off shoulder whilst others rested along her spine. It was all she could think of to distance her mind from her failure, as vain attempt it was. It had been more of a task to busy her mind when nothing else, not even her own duties were enough.

Aside from her neatly kept mane, she looked the part of a haggard soul void of its life. Sullen eyes had lost their glimmer, the ever present delicate smile upon her lips was not to be seen… not even a silhouette of its beauty was to be found. The whole of her winter hide was unkempt and matted due to lack of care and constant movement. Save for the brief moments she had stolen away to care for Sarian, she had no time to herself to take her appearance under consideration. And truth be told to the ancestors, she did not feel worth the care even to herself. She was a failure in her eyes… a diseased unfortunate soul damned by life’s most cruelest dealt hand. And she was ashamed… so very ashamed.

As she crossed the lands to heed this stranger’s call, she kept her cloak wound loosely around her towering frame, seeking to keep her deflating abdomen from view and spare herself a painful explanation. She needn’t others know, other than her mate and Nayru and her pup. She did not want to hear the false words of care or understanding, knowing that the only one that could fathom her psychological turmoil was the lady Jace; and even then she had been reluctant to speak with her about it. She wanted nothing more than for it to slip into obscurity… and be done with it.

“Wolf…” the soft call of her companion lifted the depressed head from the snow to his nearing talons as they sought her shoulder. Her lips refused to form a smile for his presence but her eyes offered a flicker of light on his behalf, earning a gentle hoot in return before his report. “The white female,” was all he needed to say to know whom he referred to. Obviously the injured girl was well enough to walk on her own if she would be the one to greet their impatient guest. The woman took care to keep her strides measured, taking no special care to hurry toward the nearing scene. Even from her closing distance, she could hear their guest before smelling him. The twisted charming tongue set her hackles to wary points, placing a little more emphasis to her steps as she neared forcing the snow to sound as she pressed harder with her already heavy steps.

She made no sound other than those of her steps as she come upon the scene; an unfamiliar face making himself a little too comfortable with her packmate and friend. Growling softly, the she-wolf cleared her throat, stretching her lengthy limbs to cross the distance an stand by the arctic female. “Good day to you stranger,” she greeted with a haunting whisper of a voice. Subtly she dipped her muzzle in a show of good will yet kept her gaze fixed upon the coywolf. “I do apologize for my tardiness to greet your call. What brings you to Ichika’s borders?” Patiently, she let her arms wrap themselves across her torso and rest comfortably as she awaited reply.

The snow wolf froze, every muscle in her paralyzed by Romeo's sudden movement. She could feel as the male rubbed against her, leaving his scent all over her neck. He rubbed her chin and nuzzled her fur, his wet nose pressing against her neck. She was lucky her bruises had healed a while ago otherwise his gesture would have really hurt. Kiara didn't move or even dare to breath until Romeo backed off again. Her ears were flat against her head and her tail was tucked firmly between her legs. The snow wolf's sapphire eyes became round disks, and it was clear she did not enjoy the comforting gesture. It was too fast and too soon. She did not know him and she did not trust him. Kiara was so wrapped up in the actions of the grey male that she failed to notice X'yrin's avian companion fly quickly by before darting off again.

When Romeo stepped back her torment didn't stop. Now his eyes gazed over her body, over her horrid scars and beautiful fur. Once again he asked to be shown around, and Kiara sorely wished to be rid of him. Romeo was too much for her, she just couldn't take it. Yet the customs of Ichika obliged her to help him. She was about to respond when a familiar scent filled the air. Kiara's snowy head whipped around and her tail rose in happy surprise. It was the golden nomad she so loved; X'yrin had come to join her. "X'yrin" Kiara called, her voice filled with the puppy like exuberance that she was once so known for. Kiara reared up and let her paws bat at the cold air. She didn't stay up for long and winced in pain as she landed. The snow wolf decided she wouldn't do that again for a while.

With the appearance of X'yrin, all of Kiara's worries and fears flew away. For a few moments she didn't have a care in the world and her eyes glowed with pure joy. When X'yrin stopped next to her she immediately began to lick the nomads cat-like paws in a happy greeting. Kiara loved X'yrin and she really missed her. The snow wolf had been very busy with Shiloh's injuries as well as her own healing ones that she didn't get too meet the golden woman as often as she would have liked. X'yrin's question's were directed towards the coywolf, but Kiara felt obliged to answer them just as she would have if he were trying to join their pack. "This is Romeo Dragoste, he's a traveler. He says he wants to know more about the pack and he wants a tour around Ichika. Um...did I get it right?" Kiara turned her gaze towards Romeo, she didn't want to falsely represent him.

It was then that Kiara noticed X'yrin's companion. The eagle owl perched regally on her shoulders and most would be impressed by it. Instead, Kiara just stared at it and envisioned herself chasing the stupid bird through the woods. Kiara didn't like birds, they were annoying. But she loved to chase them.

The male had her dealt worked out wonderfully, she would allow him to stay the two days and that would give him a nice allotment of time to get her to trust him, and think that really he cared about her. The male was so thrilled to have her moving more and more into a trusting spot, relaxing a bit more and more.

Stepping back to watch her, the nuzzle that he had given her had taken her for a loop, which was fine. The coyote wolf mixed male hoped that she would feel that it was just a part of who he was. He could hope… he wanted her to believe. His whole plan was based off of her believing him.

Watching the shadow move into the male’s view, he wanted to snarl, he wanted to spew insults at the wolf. Why did another stupid, smelly, ugly wolf need to come in and spoil the wonderful thing he had going. She had foiled everything, that two day pass to get to know her was now sitting on a thin little line.

Watching the white wolf move away and dance and prance around the other she wolf, the male dipped his head for a second bringing it right back up, he could have killed the golden wolf, she had tossed a major curve ball into his plans. ”As Kiara spoke, I am just a traveler looking for a place to rest for a few days, maybe learn more about these mystic lands. “ The male was not sure what else a “Romeo” would say ”If either of you two stunning ladies would be able to give this bag of bones vagabond the great honor or a place to rest, as well as a tour of the lands, I would have great honor.” The male was going to have to poison the other lady in kindness, and he was hating every single second of it. Yet, he knew this was all necessary if he was to gather trust of all of the other’s around him.

The male shifted upon his four feet, he wanted to just have at them, make them regret even questioning him; make them regret being a wolf. All wolves needed destroyed, for the where stupid, and had no issues mucking up the blood of all fine coyotes. Stupid...Stupid wolves always spoiling everything!

The Nomad was none the wiser to the discomfort felt by her snowy companion and was strangely glad to see her in better spirits. What scars that could not be hidden by her downy pelt did not go unnoticed and pained the she-wolf to look upon them. A surging regret had settled within the pit of her stomach as she had yet to take vengeance for the violent crime done to her innocent friend. She could make no excuse as to why her teeth hadn’t found the assailant, but knew it was because of the pack duties that kept her within the lands that prevented her from exacting revenge. Undoubtedly, it would be a while before this wrong was righted.

But for the time being, she would do with setting this present violation of her companion’s space. The bold actions of the stranger were not taken lightly despite the exuberant air kept by the lady’s affections. Her eyes remained on his earthen hide scrutinizing his hybrid form freely. His sweetly uttered words lacked the humility of a wandering soul in need of rest, lavished with the charm of a silver-tongued devil. It was not his request that roused a warning in the back of her mind, but his accommodating tone too practiced for a wilder wanderer in need of shelter. She called upon her own experiences as a wander and knew the difficulties that came with subjecting oneself to the hospitality of others. It was a bruise to the ego to be in need, but the necessity was what drove one to inquired.

She gathered none of this from his voice.

“Thank you my friend,” she addressed Kiara first and foremost. “-for taking care of our guest thus far. But please keep in mind for the future to let another know of your extended offering ahead of time.” Carefully her eye drifted to the elated girl, offering what she could make of a smile. “It is not only for the safety of your family, but for your own life as well.” She was ever appreciative of her welcoming nature, knowing that she kept the infamous hospitality of Ichika alive and well through her kindess, but the woman did fear for her. The lady was a delicate creature, not in form but in mind, and while she had suffered her brutal taste of the cruelty the world had to offer, the Exultare feared it would not the last crime to befall her and through her efforts, she would see to lessening those horrid lashes of life’s hostile sting.

Her gaze then returned to the brilliant emerald of their guest, once more falling silent as she surveyed him. The sharp talons digging deep into her shoulder suggested more of the male than what her own eyes could perceive. The silent wariness of her companion spoke in grander volumes than she could exclaim, and it had been her experience to heed the sense of her guide. Yet, against his caution, she replied; “We are always willing to open our borders to those in need. But it is my sincerest hope that you understand we could not let you rest here without supervision. For the duration of your stay, I can offer you residence near my own quarters and my mate and I will act as your escorts while you are within Ichika. Kiara is more than welcome to accompany our tour if she is willing since the two of you have become such…fast friends. Is this arrangement agreeable to you?”

Turns out, Kiara hadn't been doing as well as she had hoped. She had tried to take care of the stranger on her own and had messed up. Kiara's ears fell a little, dropping to the sides and nose tilted towards the ground. X'yrin's tone wasn't scolding, merely informative. There was a chain of command to follow and Kiara had tried to completely bypass it, although that wasn't her intention at all. This reminded the arctic wolf that she needed to straighten up. Ichika's soft views towards dominance had made Kiara forgetful almost to the point of being rude; or at least, that's how she saw it. Not to mention she had completely forgotten that X'yrin was of a higher rank, that she was a leader and deserved her respect and submission. Although they had joined Ichika at the same time, X'yrin was far more of a leader than the snow wolf and had quickly progressed through the ranks.

Even so, Kiara was determined to show X'yrin that she was strong. Eagerly she said, "Okay X'yrin. I'll do better next time." At that point in time Kiara had completely ignored Romeo. His silver words not even reaching her brain. The snow wolf didn't care about him any longer nor was she perturbed by his toxic phrases. X'yrin was there and X'yrin could take care of it, after all X'yrin was a Kozan. Kiara did however, listen to the golden wolf's words and she didn't particularly like what she heard. The nomad was going to take over the responsibility of watching Romeo and not only that, there was still an invitation for the snowy wolf to accompany the coywolf on his tour. Kiara frowned a little, she didn't like the idea of staying next to him any longer. Still, Kiara was determined now to see this to the end so she said in the most polite voice she could muster, "I could accompany you two on the tour, the exercise would be good for me." The last part was more for herself than anything else. The arctic wolf wanted to remind herself that there was something positive to seeing the weird male around the land.

The silver monster wanted to swear up and down him-self down into a childish fit screaming and kicking, but the male knew that now was not the time, the silver male would have his two days around the pack lands and would be asked to leave, he would have no chance really to know the white lady more, he wanted to know her. His twisted sick plan would need to know her. The male wanted to know what made her tick.

Bowing his head down to the golden she would she placed down her ruling onto the white lady. The white lady would not play host for him, she was given the okay to play tag along pack member, but host for the two nights. No. He was going to be stuck in a den, for all that he assumed with a mated couple. The male wanted to gag and shudder. His mind thought only of what mated couples do best and that was to show tender affection and whisper and talk loving to each other. This was no what the male wanted to be stuck with for the next two day. What a long two days that they had just tended into.

Seeing the white lady’s frown he was not all that clear as to the meaning behind it. Surely he would find out later, he would be stalking her and when she left these pack lands that would be when he further placed him-self around her. Acting and pretending to be one of her nearest and dearest friends. He would continue this till he knew her, and knew why she acted so naive about the world and that of the things there where around her.

The white lady was just to pure to have her mind all together she must be half simple, that was the only thing that the male could think of, when it came to the mannerism of Kiara.

Bowing his head down to the golden she wolf, he wasn’t going to fight it. It was a two day mission that he could say that he got to know the pack lands better. Truth be told, he wanted to know each one of these lands. He wanted to find what land would fit him the best before he picked out just the one. He wanted a land that would take his blood lust to pure the world of wolves and any coyote wolf mix into account and be just fine with it. ”Thank you dear lady. I hope your mate will not be upset that you have another male in your house with such a stunning female like your-self.” Though it wasn’t like he wanted anything sexual out of her, though maybe just maybe that stupid owl that sat upon her shoulder really would not make such a bad meal. It actually might be fun pinning that feathery sucker down and pulling the fathers off and then eating it, alive of course while it squawked and squealed the whole time.

Giving a nod the male looked to the lady’s. ”I am nothing but a humble loner, just exploring the lands, so whenever you two stunning ladies want to lead the way I will be nothing more than a paw step behind. “ That was not fully Romeo talking, Rojo knew that he would get lost in a big pack land if he didn’t stay behind either of the ladies.

Her words to Kiara were harsh despite the lower range of her voice, but necessary to ensure that safety of their family but her own life as well. While her enthusiasm was commendable, she feared it would pose a problem if left untended, and last the Nomad wanted was to find the snowy female injured again. From stoic lips to gentle smile, she made what she could of an understanding expression hoping to soothe whatever hurt she might have unintentionally dealt. But these were silent gestures bent for the girl’s understanding alone. She was perhaps the only one of the pack that understood and could respect the power of gesture being unmarred by the infection that coursed through her brethren’s blood. Without the animation of arms and legs, she had only her natural instincts of which were not lost to the auburn mane Nomad. She woofed softly in appreciation for her friend’s understanding then returned her gaze to the apparently humbled creature.

Mention of her mate invoked a habitual response with umber digits reaching into the mass of braids that hung off shoulder then wound around a particular black cord cut from his very mane. She needn’t look to know she’d grabbed it. Countless times of worrying over the braid allowed her to recognize the difference in texture from her rough feel to his more managed, and kempt smoothness. Twisting the braid around her index digit, the brought the frayed end of its tail to her muzzle to lightly tease the bridge of her nose with its fine points. Knowingly she looked to the male, this ‘Romeo’. “He has little to worry of you or any other male,” she stated as a matter-of fact with quiet tones lavished in innocence. It was not until the words left her maw that she felt the almost insulting quality of them. Hurriedly she explained. “I am loyal to him and him alone. If anything, he will see you as I do; as a guest to our lands.” But knowing the nature of his role within Ichika, he would be more scrutinizing, more cautious than she… provided he felt the need to adorn his mask.

For now, it would be just herself and Kiara acting as the escort until the evening called them off to rest up for the following day. “If you would like your tour now, we would be more than willing to appease your curiosity, but please keep in mind since you are not seeking permanent refuge, our walk is limited to the mainlands and the mountains. Please understand that our residences are off limits to guests unless accompanied by myself or another of our leaders.“ The captured braid then slipped from her grasp and fell limp against her shoulder. “But I assure you there is much to see of our lands within two days. Perhaps before your walk you would care to rest?” She offered in faith that his claims were true. No doubt a weary body made to wander for so long would want a moment to rest before taking stride again. But then, these assumptions were based on her experiences as a wanderer. For all these knew, his endurance could have differed greatly from her own.

ooc: If you'd like Shannon, the thread could be over after your next post and we could start another one. Or if you two wish to continue, feel free to assume X'yrin wandered off a little ways but is still close by. 538 words.

Kiara Amarok

Word Count → 309 :: If they go on a walk, Kiara will follow and stick close to X'yrin. If they don't Kiara will head of to go hunting.

The arctic wolf sat back and listened quietly as Romeo and X'yrin talked back and forth. Her job was almost done and all that was left to do would be to either say goodbye to the stranger or walk with X'yrin as she escorted him around the pack lands. Kiara hope for the former as opposed to the latter. She wanted him to take X'yrin's offer for rest, but if he chose to explore she would go with them for the sake of being with her friend and being polite. As Kiara listened to the conversation she watched mostly X'yrin and barely looked at the silver male.

It was very rare for the snow wolf to find someone she didn't like, but once again an individual had made that list. There were words for canines like Romeo. Scoundrel...no that wasn't right. Monster...too harsh. Womanizer...not enough finesse. Ah, pig. Romeo was a pig. He took shots at X'yrin and Kiara with a complete lack of discretion and no sense of quality. One moment he was practically drooling over Kiara and the next he had switched to X'yrin or even sometimes both. At least the other male who had flirted with the alabaster woman had some style to him.

But the coywolf's silly words weren't the only reason why Kiara disliked him. There was also the fact that Romeo had touched Kiara in such an intimate fashion. The suddenness of his movement coupled with the fact that he had practically rubbed up against her scars made her want to run. However, Kiara recognized how easily spooked she was and wanted to desperately get over the scarred mentality that she had adopted. Besides X'yrin's presence, it was the only reason why she stuck around. She was determined to change and to become stronger. She was tired of being scared all the time.
