He had been running the borders for the day, catching up on duties he had shirked the past few days. His muscles stretched and contracted with every move he made, the fluid motion graceful as he bound through the snow. His sun shot sapphire eyes sparkled as the blood beat in his veins. His breath broke through the cold air in a steamy vent as his chest heaved and his heart beat with the excitement of the run. He had finished remarking the borders and had decided to finish the circuit before returning back to the center of the packlands and the den where they gathered. He had started the turn back into the lands, his feet drumming on the trails of his pack mates, their scents filling his nose, telling him how long it had been since they had traveled the same path he did and if they had been coming or going.

He grinned at the information that came back to him, letting him know that the den was quiet, no fresh scents in the small clearing as he finally burst through the brush and into the grassy lot before the den. He let his paws take him in a few loose circles before the run finally wore from his blood and he found himself standing in the middle of the bare ground panting heavily. Giving a soft woof he dropped to his rump and finally flopped over onto his side. He let his eyes close for a moment and enjoyed the peacefulness of the abandoned den space while he could, knowing that soon enough a brother or sister of the pack would arrive and chaos of the sibling rival would probably ensue.

Amzi and Noah where still close, after all she was the only one that ever dared to say the things that the silver male was thinking. It was laid down as a role by the black male that she was not welcomed in the pack den, and Noah knew not to break that rule. He was still pretty new to the pack and did not wish to anger the black male on his own thoughts and views. However it wasn’t like it was important. Being a loner meant that you stood up for your-self and did what you thought was right, however when you’re a pack your thought have to be all for the same reason, all physical power and mental power needed to work as one smoothed iron machine for the betterment of the pack.
The silver male shifted down into lupus as he moved toward the pack den, there was not much for him, and he just wanted to take a short nap before he went back to the borders waiting on his beloved to come, since he had taken his leave of the hippie job class pack the male had been waiting for her to join him at the borders of the new pack, a few time he had worried that she had got lost, then the silver male had to push that thought out of his mind. The male just wanted a small rest without the nagging of his mother, he loved her dearly he really did, and there was no question he would do whatever it took to please her, but he just wished that she wouldn’t compare him to the white male that he was born with.

Stepping into the den the silver male saw the younger male; he dipped his head, sitting down. The den was growing but if someone wanted just to have a second alone, this was not the place. ”’ello Lad.” The male threw him-self down rolling against the wall of the den as he looked to the male. ”I d..d..don’t think I’ve m..m..meet you yet. Name’s Noah. N…n…n..Noah Sawtooth. “ They all lived in the same pack land so it was very important for the silver male to try to get to know all of its members, while waiting on his beloved to join him and the rest of the pack in these lands.

The male rolled his head back a bit as he yawned. Allowing his jaws to click shut he rolled his head forward, licking his lips. Looking to the younger male that was Noah had found in the pack den.
