10. Character Profile:
a. APPEARANCE – In all three forms, Antykk sports a typical timber wolf coat: mottled grey fur with splashes of white, black, and brown here and there. His underside is an ivory color, stretching from his chin all the way to the base of his tail. His eyes are a stunning shade of amber, and his fur only makes up half of his enormous size; the rest can be attributed to his athlete-esque muscles. In his optime form, Antykk stands approximately 6 feet 7 inches, with broad shoulders and long arms and legs. His hair falls around his face in long, thin strands the color of a raven’s wing - he does nothing more to preen it than wash it and keep it from getting too long, and he never ties it up. He wears no clothing, for he prefers his lupus form to the other two anyway. In his secui form, he stands only a foot taller than when in his lupus, and his bulk is amplified by a mess of scraggly fur. He maintains a rather stoney demeanor in any form, which is only intensified by the scar that stretches from the left side of his nose to his left brow, and the other that snakes along his left upper lip. A smile on this handsome boy’s face is, to say the least, rare.
b. BIOGRAPHY – Antykk was born to a normal family, comprised of his parents, him, and his younger sister Minna. Since they were young, he and Minna were nigh inseparable at all times. He taught her how to hunt, she taught him how to sing, and together they acted as though they could conquer the world. Antykk’s parents were strict, but they never failed to show their love for their children, which resulted in a rather difficult parting of ways when Antykk and Minna were old enough to go off on their own.
Their relationship didn’t change despite the trials that challenged their bond – they often struggled with finding food, and they never truly did find a den they could call home. Nonetheless, they remained happy, content creatures that, believe it or not, grew even closer with each day. So close, in fact, that Antykk discovered he had feelings for Minna that reached far beyond the typical sibling bond. However, he felt ashamed and disgusted with himself…but he couldn’t control how he felt. As fate would have it, Minna returned his affection without hesitation, and soon they became mates and had a pup together.
One particularly hot day in the middle of Summer, a luperci believing himself to be a priest crossed paths with the odd couple, and showed them the ways of the bi-pedal wolves. He hunted for them, taught them religious verse, and even showed them how to read. They seemed to be becoming fast friends until the luperci discovered that Antykk and Minna were siblings. The rest of the night passed in a blur: Antykk found himself in a bloody brawl with the priest in an attempt to protect Minna and their son, but to no avail. Believing it necessary to rid the world of their evil doings, the priest murdered Minna and their child, and left Antykk beaten within inches of his life and to always remember the words ‘Let your deeds define you.’ The amount of blood spilt between the two males tainted Antykk with the werewolf virus, and made him the scarred luperci that he is today. After months of aimless wandering, Antykk stumbled into Nova Scotia with the hope of starting over.
c. PERSONALITY – Antykk is stoic, cold, and quiet. He doesn’t waste his time with relations that won’t benefit him or even those that could hurt him in one way or another. Though he may come off as ornery at first, he has a heart of gold that can only be found by getting to know him. He is very cautious around strangers and rather hard to please, but he can be one of the most loyal friends you will ever have, if you give him the chance. Antykk used to be a very happy and carefree creature, but since his sister’s murder, he acts as if his soul were made of stone. He is definitely not the guy you want to upset either; he’ll use his brute strength to his utmost ability, and pair it with a nasty temper to boot. Although he holds a grudge against most luperci, his inherent nobility prevents him from becoming too prejudiced. He’s not terribly religious, but he does believe in a higher power, making him a very hopeful being. Around women, he CAN be a charming gentleman, but the effects of his past have forced him to revert to a rather snobbish air as of late.

Welcome to 'Souls!

Congratulations! You've been accepted into the craziest bunch of roleplayers on the vast Internet! We encourage you to keep checking out our information; you can find a wealth of it on the RP Guide. Don't feel pressured to read it all at once -- the guide is a huge resource and is meant to be used as a reference.

If You've Joined the Game As a...
  • ... Loner, do begin considering which of the packs you'd like to join. Survival as a Loner is less realistic -- wolves and other canines are generally social creatures, preferring to live in a pack structure!
  • ... IC pack joiner, you can now begin posting -- you may start your IC pack joining thread whenever you're ready. Make sure you check the pack information to see if the leadership requires anything extra from you!
  • ... OOC pack joiner, the leader still has to respond here before you can start roleplaying -- don't worry, though; if you're rejected from the pack you'll be titled as a Loner, and you're free to pursue other packs or the same one later.
Post-Joining Process
Mandatory:
  • Make an In Character post within five days. Post a thread request to get started, or consider starting or replying to an open thread.
  • Please let us know in the Absentee Thread if you plan to be absent for more than four days.
  • Keep reading! While there's only a minimum of three topics you have to read to join the game, we provide a wealth of information for a reason -- we expect players to read and reference this material often while they roleplay at 'Souls.
Preferred:
  • If you're leaving us, please try to let us know in the Player Updates forum. There is no penalty for leaving; you're free to re-join at any time later.
Still Need a Bit of Help?

Post any questions you may have in the Questions and Help forum. Check the FAQ first, though! The Mentors can assist you with writing, roleplaying, and understanding 'Souls concepts. Failing all else, contact a staff member.

If you need help getting adjusted to your pack, you should talk to your pack leader! They can help you to understand the pack's rank system and how to get a better rank, as well as direct you to plots, potential thread partners, and active members of the pack who may be interested in engaging you.
