A clap of thunder in the horizon caused the wolf to jump slightly. He hugged his bag of art supplies close to his chest, trying to shield it from the rain without much success. He'd set out to sea with the purpose of trying to cover more distance without actually walking, but had made little progress before the storm had bore down on him and he had docked in Halifax. Unknown to the two year old male, Erebus had stumbled upon what was formally Bleeding Souls and had found its remains. Finding nothing of use there, he had spent a few days assembling a makeshift boat of sorts but had only made it beyond the quartz shoreline before being forced to the land.[/html]What was left of the city told a tale of a nice place going to ruins with the near extinction of the human race. The buildings who had no doubt once held prominent business owners, now fell in ruins, worthless reminders of what had once been. Lightning lit up the otherwise dark city, making it appear like a horror movie, with all the run down buildings and decrepit homes. Still, it did not phase the male, who continued to poke around the area in an effort to find shelter. He found a modest looking home with the door torn off, possibly by a storm like this one or maybe the work of another who had found shelter there. Regardless, he quickly made his way inside and hurried to the back, setting his bag of supplies in one corner and letting his tired body fall to a torn mattress for a rest. A rest that turned into a deep sleep.
