The last three days had been a whirlwind of action for Neela. The crush of bodies at the festival was amazing, the mixture of company, music(much of it her own) and drink melding the festival into a blur of colours and sounds in her mind, though a few memories stuck out.

Rather unusually for the last few days Neela was only mildly tipsy at the moment. Deciding to take a break from the normal hustle Neela had decided to set something special up and had moved a small distance away from the festivities themselves. Despite this she didn't think she was likely to have much trouble finding herself company.

The reason for this lay before herr, a large fire pit that Neela had set up. The fire itself was large and burning merrily and arrayed on three wooden spits arranged over it in a triangle were a large variety of foods. At the moment the lions share of a deer and thirty fish or varying sizes, both sea and river fish that Neela had caught, were cooking merrily over the fire, the smell of the food being blown back towards the festivities likely to attract some attention.

Neela had dug into her stock for this, the drunken collie deciding that a good time was more of a priority than hoarding her newly expanded stockpile or personal belongings. Two snow packed barrels were placed a small distance from the fire. One was filled with more fish to stock the fire and the other was filled with various alcohol, mostly whiskey to match Neela's own personal taste though she had found a few other varieties. Several logs had been dragged around the fire to provide seating and firewood stacked alongside them. All in all it had been a heavy few hours work getting everything set up but Neela felt the end results would be hopefully worth it.

The hostess of this little sub-party was currently humming lightly to herself as she danced idly around the fire, turning the spits every now and them as she did so. So far nobody had turned up but that was understandable; Neela had only just finished putting the food on to cook so it was likely that the scent was only just reaching the main party.

A quick spin brought Neela over to the barrels where she grabbed a whiskey bottle and took a swig before moving on, continuing her circuit of the fire.

Drunk. A term Terra had learned recently, and came to associate with wolves that normally would be saner, more pleasant. It was like something was designed specifically to blow them out of their wits. Terra felt she knew the feeling, burning on the inside as she approached a sizzling fire. Her body still craved attention to the extreme, and she'd done some pretty crazy things trying to get it. Pure instinct held her back, forcing the hybrid into battle with herself. Terra's coyote blood could care less, just wanting to gain release. Her wolf blood, on the other hand, demanded she choose someone who would stick around.

Grabbing a stick of fish from the fire Terra downed it, ignoring the burning sensation as it entered her stomach. Turning to face the dog Terra grinned. She danced a couple steps of her own around the fire, hers more of a sharp burning intensity of desire than a celebration of any kind. She wanted, and would do what it took for this to end. Terra was worried that the teasing feeling would never leave, that she'd always be unfulfilled. Still she twisted, bumping slightly into the drunk dog before spinning back the other way.

When one was as drunk as Neela was dancing a circuit around a fire was no easy task, in-fact it took a great deal of concentration. As such Neela didn’t notice the approaching female until she had literally bumped into her. While fairly far gone Neela still recognised the hybrid, she had only met her recently and Neela had a good memory for names.

"Terra, hi!" Neela's words were slurred, the alcohol she had ingested showing itself through her voice as she moved towards the other canine. Neela noticed Terra spinning and darted forward, catching the other wolf by the hand and joining with her spin. Neela brought the spin to a stop, purposely falling over into Terra's arms in an exaggerated gesture, "Fancy seeing you here." The drunk dog giggled before she launched herself upwards with a sharp, barking laugh and made her way quickly around the fire, grabbing a hunk of deer as she went.

Neela's cycle of the fire ended with her once again near Terra and she grinned at the younger girl, her teeth dripping with blood and juices from her meal, which was still clutched half-eaten in her hand. "Ya enjoyin' tha festival Terra?" Neela's slurring seemed more pronounced here as she mumbled around mostly chewed food, backing away from the fire slightly to cool off as she did so.

Terra smiled slightly as the drunken collie bumped into her, her voice carrying the clear effects of alcohol. A little uneasy about how far gone Neela might be Terra tried to back away. Hi Neela. Nice little celebration. They had parted on good terms, but she'd met some canines that were pretty surly when drunk. She didn't feel like testing the resolve at all. No, she'd stay on the safe side of things. At least that was the plan until the dog touched her, joining her in the spin. Terra laughed happily, her mind swirling with sensations.

She might not be drunk, but she was definitely out of her wits. It made her more pleasant than she would normally be though, resulting in Terra flirting and curving her body around all available males. She was still pleasant to females as well, just got really moody if one interrupted her when she was with a guy. The larger dog tipped into her, knocking Terra back a couple steps before she gained the balance. Terra couldn't handle too much weight tipping into her with her small body. It's the festival. Everyone's here. Friends, enemies, you can find them all. Tall males, short males, hybrid males, any kind Terra wanted. A slice of meat was grabbed and Terra pricked her ears forward to listen. She smirked. I'm enjoying it very much. She winked as a male passed by, hips swaying as she danced a little closer to the fire.

Neela backed off from the fire slightly, arms splaying out as she leaned back against a tree not far from Terra, "Uhuh," She confirmed, nodding, "Lotta people here, don’t think I've ever seen so many in one place. Almost like onea those old pictures of human cities." neela let out a low hum as she thought pack to where she had seen such a picture, a travelling trader who gathered old human memorabilia .

The thought brought Neela to thinking about her old home town, where she had met the trader in question, and she countered with a swig of whiskey, focusing her attention back onto Terra, a small grin coming onto Neela's face as she noticed the younger girls actions. A quick sniff of the air confirmed the theory spreading through the drunken collie's mind; it seemed that Terra was in heat.

Judging by the younger canines age this was likely her first heat cycle. A responsible dog would likely offer help or advice; Neela was currently drunk and wasn't particularly responsible at the best of time, her mind shooting to possible ways that she would turn this fact to her amusement. "Oh are you?" She said in response to Terra's statement, a knowing smile planting itself on her face as her eyes, which had been roving across the crowd, landed on her intended target.

Said target was a rather attractive male wolf who, through random conversation over musical tips she had held with the wolf earlier, Neela knew was homosexual and also rather naive. Neela let out a false appreciative hum past her lips, loud enough to attract Terra's attention, and gestured to the male, "So, whatta ya think of 'im then?" Neela had little to loose and much amusement to gain, to her drunken self it was perfect.

Terra basked in the glow of the fire, eying the meat. It looked delicious. She didn't want to stop moving though. Just a small slice would do then. Quickly she tore a small piece off and popped it in her mouth, continuing around the fire until she found a place to settle down, out of reach of the collie's arms. Satisfied she stretched out, leaving her lithe legs out to be viewed by those who passed by. Idly she watched the crowd, picking out those that she would like attention from.

A low hum caught Terra's attention. Turning she realized Neela was scanning the crowd herself. Following the collie's gaze Terra settled onto an impeccable specimen. Around two years, slight muscles, dark brown fur with black sections around his face. His mane was kept short, out of the way of being used against him. Terra smiled at Neela's pick. I like that one. He turned his head, looking their way. Gaily she waved him over. The male smiled, and trotted over.

She didn't know the two knew each other, even in passing. Terra just thought Neela had a good eye. Smiling she coached him over, nice and close. Hello. Enjoying the festival? The male nodded agreeably. It certainly is a wonder. Such a sweet fellow. Terra worked her way over, nestling into his arm.
