I've got to remember this is just a game

     The laughter confirmed it the way her eyes and her body had been doing. She needed this, she needed touch, she needed someone because she was just as scared as the rest of them. Draco listened to her with the same dull interest he had kept throughout this and many conversations, and sat up. “Maybe,” he offered, pushing himself to his feet. Shrugging, he began to move along the stones, following no particular path. After several feet, he paused, and called out as he turned: “What’s your score?”

She watched him silently as her eyes twinkled, there was no reply to his simple word as he moved past her and off along the pathway. Firefly wasn't for certain what the reason for the male's appearance in these lands but she knew her own. Strangers came and went, figuring out how long it took them to go was the tricky part. She yawned as he threw a question at her, with a wicked little grin she called back. "Why so curious?" She doubted that he was really curious, but it amused her that he'd even asked that question.

     She didn’t answer his question, but it didn’t matter. He knew that she understood, and that was good enough for him. Smiling and turning away, he lifted his left hand and gave her a slight wave, and then was along his way. They both had other games to play and those paths were separate.
