Hey there! Big Grin

Word Count → 000

It was midday, the sun hidden behind the thick layer of clouds and the bright white blanket of snow. The Knight girl sat in her room, gazing out the window at the bare auburn trees and the frost that lined her window. Sighing softly, the girl rose to her paws. The old floorboards creaked loudly as she began to walk towards the dark brown door. Exiting her room, the girl began to think about her family and her brothers, Tony especially.

It was obvious that her father and brothers where pouting because she had a mate now. Someone else to 'look after their little Fia'. It hadn't gone unnoticed. Running her paws through her black hair, ridding of all the tangles, she gave out another sigh. Why do they dislike her mate? It's her mate right? What would Tony think? What does he think?

She padded down the hallways at a slow pace, heading towards the courtroom. The wallpaper was old and peeling, yellow and crisp at the edges. Bringing her paw down, she smiled softly to herself as the diamond on the ring smiled back with love and appreciation. She loved him so much...and no one would be able to understand the bond the two shared between each other.

Fia was rather excited about Tony joining the pack. But, she was also a bit surprised that he left their mother. He had always been the one to be around her the most. Maybe he had just missed his siblings and father? Whatever the reason, the maturing woman was happy nevertheless that he was here. She had missed him, of course she had.

Tony was in the armoury, still fuming about starting as a Prova, but thinking it best to get on with his crafting and prove he was better the a Prova. He'd was in the middle of fixing a pair of daggers he found with Neela. They were rather plain at the moment. Bent out of place, both missing a pair of what he assumed were once shiny gems, with dull edges and rough handles. Any other wolf, well except the ones who knew what he knew Tony supposed, would have discarded it into the piles and pile of debris and rubble in the city of Halifax. Sometimes he would have and sometimes he actually had. Believe it or not there were just some things he couldn't fix. His hammer came up and down in soft grunts as it hit the metal of the daggers bringing it back into place. Still he would have to fine stones of something to fit into the empty sockets.

He wasn't using any fire, and so his work was quickly put away. Granted it was lazy tidying, pushing everything to one side but Tony was happy with it like that. Moving out of the room Tony spotted his sister and instantly frowned. He'd almost forgotten about her and this 'Gunnar' and now it came back to him, worsening his mood. He wouldn't let his anger fall out on his sister now would he? 'Hey! Fia' he called out, almost casually.

A familiar voice caught her black tipped ears and she instantly fell to a stop. Turning around on her heels, a wide smile spread across the she-wolf's face. "Tony!" She barked excitedly, blue eyes bright and loving. She looked over her brother's tall form as she walked closer, the fae realizing once again how small she seemed.

She quickly wrapped her arms around her brother, embracing him for a moment before taking a pawstep back to look up to his familiar muzzle. "How have you been? I've missed you" Fia said with a soft, mature silk voice, her tail wagging at a gentle beat behind her. The ring once again winked up at her as she ran her black tipped paw through her hair before dropping it to her side.

She wondered silently if he was as excited to see her as she was to see him. But Fia quickly threw that out of her mind. Yes, of course he was excited to see his own sister! Right? Why wouldn't he be? Unless he's mad about Gunnar... the thought ran in her head and circled throughout, but she quickly forgot about it. There was no sense in making herself agitated on such a happy and exciting encounter.

He was quite taken aback by Fia's hug. He hadn't thought he had been away for that long, but at the same time he was grateful for the show of affection, for he was sure he'd get a far from tender reception by Lorenzo. Not that Tony cared of course, it had been Enzo's fault all along, a fact Tony swore on his family's head. A strong vow to make but Tony was as stubborn as they got. Tony took in his sister's face with a deep sigh, one filled with sorrow for the time lost and with joy for the times ahead. As she brushed her hair Tony noted the ring on her finger and let himself frown for a moment, before turning back to Fia again with a soft smile.

'Eh, I've bin good. Patchin' up some ol' things, not much else, eh' he relayed, running his own hand through his hair, roughly raking his fringe away from his eyesight and turning the conversation back to Fia, 'So, how've y' bin today? No gettin' into much trouble I hope, eh?' He laughed nervously, hoping the conversation didn't end up at Gunnar. Because he knew it would be then he'd loose his temper.

Fia, too, frowned as he did, but it was quickly replaced with a warm smile. "I've been good, nope, no trouble." Fia laughed softly, black tipped tail swaying gently behind her. "Anything new and exciting? Any new girls?" Fia teased lightly at the end, flashing a white smile. It was good to hear her brother's familiar accent. It was weird how she didn't pick up so thickly on the accent.

Fia had guessed that Tony didn't really want to talk about Gunnar. Also, she was a bit afraid of him getting angry. So, the young fae avoided the subject, even though she wanted to explain to her brother the happy adventures they've had so far. The quiet murmurs and very faint taps of paws against the old wooden floor could be heard from where the two stood. The small fae had to tilt her muzzle upwards to look at her tall brother. Once again, she ran her paw through her streak black hair, more out of slight nervousness. Why was she so nervous? It was just a simple conversation with her brother.

Tony chuckled heartily at his sister's teasing, 'No. No girls yet'. He was about to say,'and you?' but then he remembered and closed his mouth firmly with a hint of a scowl. Evening his face up, he smiled and shook his head lightly. 'I've been good... Mam and Aro are fine by the way... How Enzo been?' he asked, 'Stopped being a immature little jerk yet, eh?' Tony chuckled. He was eager to see Enzo again, somewhat missing him. Though it was equally plausible that he wanted to cause another argument again. Tony would never admit it but he had kind of missed Lorenzo. He'd sat their at night somewhat disturbed by the shortage of hatred he managed to stock for Enzo, because he found himself missing him somewhat.

'What's this place like then? Y'know aside from the obvious' he chuckled again, shaking his head. 'I'm thinkin' a headin' for th' blacksmith co-rank... Y'know, do ssummink useful around ere, eh?' It was an out of the blue comment, but still it made conversation where there was none. He was eager to steer the conversation away from relationships after all.

Fia smiled softly, not noticing the sudden hint of the scowl in his muzzle before he wiped it away. The she-wolf laughed at his comment, her laugh bright and silky. "Mm, I dunno about that" Fia teased again with a wide smile. "Na, he's been good." the white-furred girl said. "Well...I describe it as a new adventure. Quite different from Crimson Dreams. I like it here" She said with a smile. Fia perked her ears up slightly, but she wasn't all that surprised. "Oh really? I'd think you'd want to lie around like a lazy furball all day" The small woman teased, bright blue eyes flashing as if they where smiling.

"But really, what made you want to choose Blacksmith?" She asked with an arch brow, a curious expression playing on her lips and ears. Fia was slightly happy that the conversation had gone from dancing around an awkward subject which would just end up getting them both flustered. Which the conversation had turned to a much more regular conversation among two wolves.

Tony ignored the news of his brother, but while he wouldn't admit it, he was quietly glad that Lorenzo was fine. Looking down with a smile, Tony shrugged, 'This place sounds cool. I didn' like Dreams much. Too quiet really...' he said honestly, frowning slightly. It had been quiet, too much so for him. Who, much alike his father, was a more spirited boy and longed for a bit of drama and space to hone his warrior abilities. And as his mother spoke of home, Italy, more and more. The distaste for the Italian pack became stronger. By that point he heard snippets about his father's new pride and joy and it had sounded wonderful.

'Me? Lazy? Nah, Fia. Big, strong lad like me cant afford to dick around all day, got work to do, eh?' Tony laughed, enjoying his time with this little sister. 'Size, ennit? I got bulk, lot'a folk don't 'ave that, eh?' he explained, 'Helpin' out the pack too ennit?' At least he thought so. But he though the rank requirement was stupid. And the same for the brotherhood, he'd join now if he could in fact. That's how much he wanted to help out, and that was how much he wanted a promotion too. Because deep down, he still wanted to be like hi Dad.
