Ansui had not ventured much outside his own packlands since he had joined the pack. He loved Ichika no Ho-en; he loved the sense of family it gave him, the peaceful environment, the sense that he finally had somewhere to belong. He loved the pack and everything about it and so, for a long while, he did not leave. However, he soon began to feel restless; he began to feel like roaming once more, like he had when he was a pup in his parents' nomad pack, wandering and sailing the world. So, he gave in to his wanderlust, and had traveled to a place that had been rumored to be a festival of sorts, where traders and merchants would sell their wares.
He had arrived with relatively little trouble, his large and sensitive nose working with him to track the scents of many packs mingling together. When he arrived in his Optime form, donning his fur cloak with the hood pulled up, he was at first slightly overwhelmed at the amount of canines and the activity that was going on around him. Loud merchants hawking their wares, chatty and flattering traders polishing their merchandise, noisy members of all sorts of packs attempting to sell their items to all who were there.
It was slightly overwhelming to the normally peaceful and slightly solitary dog but also exhilarating as well; he soon found himself in a corner of the area, looking at some strange wooden artifacts that one of the merchants of the wandering band had created. The intricate detail put into the carvings were incredible; every line, every etch had a purpose, and every one of the cuts in the wood came together to create something beautiful. So immersed he was in looking at the small items, he did not notice his surroundings.
