Cerberus’ snout tilted upward as he took in the sights and smells of the festival around him. He had heard of such gatherings as a pup, but it was still strange to him nonetheless. Merchants, buyers, talents, food; it was all a swirl of happy chaos around him. Every tent he passed he poked his nose in, never buying but always looking. His childlike curiosity didn’t mar his ever-present cocky demeanor, however, as his stroll morphed into more of a strut with the relief provided from every undisturbed moment that passed – he was enjoying himself.

The soup of scents that the many different creatures exuded was confusing to his nose, and for a moment he contemplated buying a scarf to tie around his snout in order to shut out the mess. But he became used to it soon enough, able to differentiate between a canine and a slab of meat on display for lunch as he continued to wander past the many venders. One woman caught him by the arm, and though he normally would have turned on her with a snap of his jaws, today he simply gazed in her direction with nothing more than an annoyed glint playing in his fiery eyes. She explained to him with a persuasive tone that ‘a man of his stature could surely enhance his appearance with the leatherwork [she] was selling.’ His brow lifted with curiosity as she reached for what looked like a belt with the holster for a knife attached to it, and then tugged it around his square hips with a firm hand. He glanced around, his face clearly portraying embarrassment as he silently hoped no one was watching. Clearing his throat, Cerberus pat the woman on the shoulder and muttered, That’s not necessary. I’m only looking, not buying.

Imhotep smiled as he was at a stall with some jewelry. He needed to get new studs and what ever he could get for piercing ears. he was hoping that at least being a medic he would be able to treat some things and help with things like piercing and Tattoos. After all he had pierced both his ears on his own.

Pulling out his bag he grabbed a small bottle and handed it to the woman as he smiled. "Thats it" He spoke as she handing him a small wooden box. The box filled with several pairs of earrings and different needles. He was slowly gathering just off things that he needed.

He turned after dipping his head to the woman. He was rather happy that he had found something that he wanted. He moved glancing across at the next few booths as he saw a male wolf who seemed to not be having fun as a merchant woman seemed to be trying to get him to buy a belted pouch. He wondered what else the woman had so he moved towards the two being noise.

The woman looked up at Cerberus from a kneeled position beside him and he tried to smile the best he could. She opened her mouth to say something, and then shut it again as something behind Ceri caught her attention. She stood up quickly and edged away, taking her belt with her, and Cerberus turned to see what had distracted the woman. A canine with muscles and markings like he’d never seen before stood before him, the perfect picture of something exotic. His brow lifted in curiosity, and his tail began to sway behind his calves as he looked the man over. Then, a small grin crept over his handsome face and he nodded in greeting, taking a step closer to him. I’d be careful with that one, he teased, pointing to the woman, she’s looking for a good sale today.

A quick glance over his shoulder relieved Cerberus, due to the fact that she was now busy fussing over another customer. His gaze returned to the male, and he marveled at the mere sight of him. He’d never seen a creature like this one, as most of the canines he’d known had been wolves, coyotes, or hybrids of both. No, this one was entirely different, and as hard as Cerberus tried not to stare, he couldn’t help himself.

Imhotep watched as the woman work he wondered what made her so egar to make a sale. She worked and moved about after the Egyptian male came over. It was odd to him that he had cause the woman to be in a bit of a hysterics. Though after a moment she seemed to settle down and Imhotep looked at the male.

Imhotep then turned to the counter handing the woman a bag. Need blade sharpener and 4 of these" He spoke pointing to the cord and a pouch. She smiled as she looked in the bag he had handed her. She started to gather the things "Oh that too" He said pointing to the gray cloak that had rabbit fur on it. the woman nodded and looked him over and grabbed another cloak this one not as interesting. bagging all the items she smiled. "Thanks" He spoke as he smiled. he turned to look at the male.

"Very nice lady" he said pointing to the woman as he smiled his Arabic accent lacing his words. "Nothing good here for you?" He questioned. It didn't seem as though the male had gotten anything nor did he seem like he wanted too.

Word Count → 265 :: Cool table!

Cerberus watched as the sandstone-pelted male negotiated with the woman whom he’d struggled with earlier, and his tail wagged lazily with intrigue. The coywolf watched curiously as the stranger ordered objects that held little meaning to Cerberus, though he assumed the objects were of some significance to the man or he wouldn’t have ordered them. But what was more amazing was that this creature had basically commanded the attention of the merchant without even raising his voice, and then carried out barter with almost professional ease. It was impressive, to say the least.

The male turned back to Cerberus then, and the hybrid snapped lamely to attention. A boyish grin spread across his pale lips, and he chuckled softly as he eyed the things in the canine’s hands. ”How did you do that?” he asked. Then, his voice lowered slightly, he added, ”I’ve been trying to get rid of her for the past ten minutes.” The woman behind the counter shot him a look, and Ceri’s ears flattened against his head sheepishly. He supposed it probably wasn’t the nicest thing to say; she had only been doing her job after all. But it was true. Apparently he wasn’t very good at negotiating with merchants.

Finally Cerberus extended his hand to the male, straightening up proudly as he did so. ”The name’s Cerberus Antum,” he said, looking the man over again. Even a second inspection didn’t fail to unhinge Ceri’s jaw. ”You can call me Ceri, though,” he concluded, shaking his head and gluing his gaze to the other’s in an attempt to keep from staring.
