OOC Feb 22 Quartz Shoreline, about 100 yards from Anathema. amy's prone to exaggeration

Word Count :: +000

It was time for her to get help. The pups were coming so soon, she could feel it. Amy needed to get to the medic that she'd traded with, and fast. It didn't matter to her that she'd injured members of the pack for fun. What mattered was that one who owed her a favor lived there, and he could help with the birthing, make it a less painful process. Amy had been forced to stop traveling beside the horse, leaving a very disgruntled slave to lead it. He knew that Amy needed help, and even in his anger he didn't consider just leaving her. To do so would be wrong, with innocent lives on the line. He had no doubt that Amy would sacrifice them if it meant hunting him down. Swollen and irritable Amy rested in the wagon, tons of furs surrounding her. A huge fit had been thrown earlier, having everything that she didn't like out, and stored in a store in Halifax.

There was no jewelry, no wealth of clothes. Just food, water, and furs to keep her comfortable. Grumpy Amy stuck her head out of the wagon, looking around. They were getting pretty close to the pack that had put a bounty on her head. Turn the wagon! We have to take a different route. Don't want my children being contaminated by the filthy beasts in that pack. Raoth looked at her with distaste, wishing he could complain about what she was asking for. Amy's glare shut his mouth again, and he turned the horse, moving to take the longer route. It would add at least a day's travel to avoid coming too close, but that was the risk she'd have to take. Her children were far too precious to risk.

Shadowfang lay there high above the road on a large branch that was wide enough for him to lay on. The shadows from the leaves hid him well. The shadows added to the size of the branch he was on made it easy for Shadowfang to hide high above without notice from anyone including Amy and her slave. He lay there with legs crossed one over the other, as he gently turned his head and looked down to see the wagon that Amy was in, knowing that she would take a rout that didn't go near those who wanted to kill her. She had been right when she said he would know when she needed help because only that morning he was woken up by nothing but a feeling that Amy needed him.

She had shown that she could be cold and heartless but no matter how much she would threaten him or give him evil looks he knew there was something still there, tears were the give away. No assassin that exists has no heart, for all assassins due, it has always been a hiding of emotions for assassins not a complete lose of caring. He waited for the wagon to pass underneath him and then he casually rolled off the branch and landed on some soft dirt and moist leaves that he had placed there on purpose to hide any sound of his landing. He placed the leaves and dirt in such a way to make it look natural for the area and he smiled as he walked up to the back of the wagon and spoke so only Amy would hear him and he spoke a line from traditional greetings letting her know that she was now being watched and cared for. " Shadows keep you."

Shadow kept pace with the wagon waiting for Amy to allow him to board the wagon so as to take a good position to watch the surrounding areas to his best ability. He knew that a part of her would be relieved that she had a friend near by to help keep her and her pups safe but he also knew that she would never admit to something like that, not even on her death bed, well maybe then.

Settling down again Amy looked at her distended stomach worriedly. They might still be some days off, but Amy didn't want to risk having them come early and end up injured. Especially when she was in such a delicate condition. Her ears pricked as a whispered promise of protection reached her. She nodded her head as she turned, facing Shadow. The one who's protection had been purchased for the rare sword on his back. His promise of friendship made her uneasy as she tried to keep him at arm's length, but she needed his protection. Amy couldn't deny how weak the pregnancy had made her.

Nodding her head she shifted around so that he could climb in and find a place that would allow him to protect her easily. Raoth's ears flicked back at the noise. Hearing that someone else was there he dropped his grip on the horse and set off at a run. Roaring Amy twisted around. He couldn't escape! The slave was heading straight for Anathema, a place that she couldn't follow him to. Grumbling she worked her way to the front of the wagon. Her pride was at stake here. Grabbing a bow Amy clicked the horse into a run, following the escapee. The horse ran straight after him. Dropping the reins Amy hoisted the bow, and shot him through the leg. Raoth stumbled down, and Amy pulled the wagon to a halt. Nervously she looked over. They were too close for her to be comfortable now.

Shadow moves quickly and silently to the front with Amy as she moved there and took the reigns for the horse and got them to a run after the slave. Shadow stood up as the Wagon moved and the moment the arrow was fired and the Wagon came to a stop he jumped and in one great bound cleared the horses and landed right next to Raoth. Once landing he reached down and grabbed him by the scruff like a parent would a pup and he tossed him right next to the wagon in a simple gesture so that Amy could easy look down at him.

Shadow walked close and stood behind Raoth making sure he had no where to run not that he could given the arrow in his leg. He looked up at Amy waiting for the okay to remove the arrow in a way that would heal and not ruin her slave. Shadow didn't like the idea of slaves but due to his honor and oath to Amy he was unable to free or help the slave just make things less painful. Don't try to get away again, otherwise Amy's next shot might be higher."

Word Count ::406 Points::3 OOC:: Lets get a post order going, especially if Aeron comes in on this too. Amy/Shadowfang/Mido/Aeron – is that alright?

Mido had been patrolling the outskirts of Anathema for a while now almost aimlessly, not thinking much of it. A cool soft wind passed him by, carrying the scents of multiple canines he didn’t recognize through his nostrils. His eyes went wide with disbelief; outsiders close enough to the borders to nearly be considered intruders. The dasa raced in the direction of the oncoming smell, uncertain of it’s origination he kept himself alert. He was unusually well armed this particular day though it hadn’t occurred to him why he was. Inside the pockets of his black cargo pants were his throwing knives, and shuriken, resting in the waist band were the males silver Kamas. As he closed in, the smell of blood invaded his nose, Mido began to wonder what could have possibly taken place just on the edge of their lands.

All of the figures came fully into view once he arrived at the scene. What the mutt saw caused him minor confusion, a male on the ground with an arrow through his leg. Hovering near the downed canine was another male; and inside the dual horse drawn carriage was a woman with a bow. He arrived just in time to hear the standing male speak to the one on the ground, telling him he shouldn’t run or Amy’s next shot may be higher. The confusion was now quelled. The half and half remembered the order that Naniko issued a while back to remove the unwelcomed intruder named Amy from Anathema, and here she was. He knew nothing of the group of canines other than who the woman was and the fact that they didn’t belong here. You’ve been banned from Anathema Amy. What on Earth would bring you anywhere near us? He asked the cream yellow colored woman. The multicolored mix glanced from Amy to the dark as night male standing over the injured canine. He placed on hand on his Kamas, ready to pull them out. His face calm and complacent didn’t read at all what was on his mind; he was ready for the unthinkable to happen if need be. Though in all actuality he would rather have them just remove themselves away from their territory rather than have things get out of hand. In the back of his mind Mido figured if he needed it he could call for back up and hopefully someone would arrive to lend a helping hand.

WC :: OOC ::

Anathema was now under more orders from Naniko. The Zepars were to act their rank and submit and to aeron these things didn't matter so much but she was certainly ok with forcing someone who was unwilling to submit. That ws why she had wished Naniko had just allowed them to kill the golden mutt.

Aeron was doing her border patroll with rank came duty and her duty was to maintain diplomatic peace and help new members enter Anathema. It was quite untill the crows began to bellow out their sounds. the borders something was going on in one of the other zones. There were days when Aeron cared little for the crows but days like today she was glad they were about.

Shou go fly ahead She called to the Crow as he took off. She let out a sharp whistle and the two felines lept ahead. She moved her legs carried her swiftly across the land and she wondered what was causing the Crows to squawk. She had to admit she wished today that she had Elzar.

She was coming closer t where the crows were calling from and the scent was light but she could recognize. A snarl emitted from her as she came onto the scene. She looked at mido and then at Amy she said nothing just watched her posture screamed dominance no longer and Iblis she was the oraix and Amy would show respect.

Amy nodded her head at Shadow. She didn't want Raoth ruined. He didn't have a nice voice, and his legs would be needed. The arrow would have to be removed without damaging him. That's why her shot had been taken with such care. Turning her head at the sounds of someone arriving Amy bristled. He was armed to the teeth, sending her hackles standing. Smiling coldly she shook her head. You have no authority over me. I don't need your permission to come here and retrieve my property. Amy was proud, unwilling to admit the fact that she knew she would be killed if she pushed the matter.

The blond female that Amy had jilted before showed up. Amy nodded her head at her, noting the new stance. So she had risen in the ranks. Good for her. Amy still viewed herself as a match for only the leaders. Pointedly she turned her back, making it clear that she thought little enough of them to feel fine turning away. Amy climbed over to the wagon, expecting the stupid female to lose her temper and attack. She'd been eager enough to draw blood the last time they'd met.

Shadow heard the others come as they stood behind him but he acted as though he didn't know they were there. He waited for the nod of Amy and then he reached down and looked to her slave and in a reassuring nod he grabbed the head of the arrow and broke it off and then he pulled the stick out leaving no more wound then what had been made by the arrow head. After he was done he reached into the Wagon and pulled out a peace of cloth and wrapped it tightly around the wound to stop the bleeding. Once shadow finished dressing the wound, he grabbed Raoth and picked him up putting him in the back of the wagon and for good measure he tied his feet and hands to a sturdy pole that was holding the roof on the wagon.

With Raoth taken care of and unable to get away Shadow walked back to the head of the wagon and he leaned against the side right under Amy and with arms crossed he looked to the par of individuals. Shadow showed nothing in his emotions or stance he was like a stone, just sitting and waiting. Shadow would not attack but on his oath to Amy he would defend her with his life. He looked over his shoulder as she spat back insulting things to the pare and he whispered so only she could hear him.

Perhaps, it would be wise not to entice a violet reaction from the pack. We should go while we are still allowed to do so." Shadow kept his eyes on both warriors but he was mostly focusing on the well armed individual. He looked at the way he held himself and the weapons that he had, All of which shadow was familiar with so he knew how to use them and defend against them. Truth be told Shadow rather not have to fight at all so if anything he would do his best to play peace keeper if the situation worsened.

In return to the Dasa questioning her presence she arrogantly replied that he had no authority over her, and she could recover her belongings as she wished without their permission. Maybe not himself in particular, but concerning the leadership and Anathema as a whole, it would be a wise course of action to be respectful. He raised an eyebrow at Amy; the half and half couldn’t begin to understand the level of this woman’s ignorance. The fact of the matter was that she angered their leadership; she was unwelcomed and is back once again, she was playing with fire and would get burnt if she didn’t tread very carefully.

The wind had changed direction so the only give away of Aeron’s presence was the bird. Once she approached them he glanced at her not moving any part of his body. He didn’t say anything to her at first; he watched her out of the corner of his eyes. Nice of you to join us. He addressed her before he returned his gaze to the outsiders. The black male was kind enough to play doctor to the down and damaged canine by removing the arrow from his leg and wrapping the wound. Picking up Amy’s possession he brought it to the backside of the wagon and loaded it in then returned the woman’s side. The mystery man verbally engaged the wagon riding woman so that he and Aeron couldn’t hear his words; the male never removed his eyes from the Anathemans. Mido removed his Kamas from his pants and held them in his hands; he casually crossed his arms and rested them against his bare chest still grasping his weapons. He didn’t intend to get too far ahead of himself, he only meant to visually gesture the fact that he was equipped and ready to go. I’m sorry you feel that way, but you made a big mistake coming back here. He explained to the two near the wagon more so concerning Amy.

ooc Arogant Aeron is arogant

Aeron Ganesa

It was like nothing in the world was wrong today. She had spent the day at her own pace and now before her was a demon with what seemed to be an henchman. She smiled white teeth glistened as she looked at Amy. Why did she dare to be so close to Anathema?

she had heard Amy make a snide remark to Mido and she wondered how the man would react. Aeron no longer was going to allow the golden mutt to annoy her. She moved forward her white cape shifted as she raised a hand to pull back the gold adorned hood. Golden eyes looked at the black male and then at Amy. I see you were to scared to come here with out a male to protect you." She spoke her voice was calm. She was surprised that she was able to keep her cool. Maybe she had finally gotten herself to balance out.

Aeron looked at Mido as she smiled. He was one of the few who had heard the direct order from Naniko and Aeron knew he would not displease her. I thought last time we told you that you are nothing compared to the pack. Any member here has more worth and more right then you do. She spoke. Amy knew nothing of Anathema ranks Aeron knew that. She held a high rank yes not a leader but there was no way that Amy could know that and standing here she stood as one.

Mido would you like to bring Naniko her head? She asked smiling. She was rather amused as she chuckled then heard the dark wolf speak. She smiled she doubted Amy would leave she would just have to make her. "I'd listen to your guard dog and leave while I give you the chance." she pulled a knife from on of her pouches and whipped it out and smiled as she heard it wizing through the air. She chose to aim it at neither pest but at the wood of the carriage.

OOC yet Amy manages to be worse. i swear shell learn...maybe

Word Count :: +000

The assassin's whispered words did nothing to ease Amy as she began to climb back into the wagon. She had no wish to linger there, now that the reason why she'd come had been dealt with. She settled in happily, noting the arrogant female's taut stance. She was as pleased to see Amy as she was pleased to see her. Amy smiled at her, cold and teasing. The coyote was so arrogant, so sure she was worth something, when Amy knew that it wasn't true.

There was no need for her to answer the pointless jibe. It was rather obvious why she couldn't take care of herself right now. The pups were coming, and so soon she was in jeopardy of having them come early if too stressed. The proud words the female spoke were simply disdained with a sniff, knowing that they wouldn't kill her. If they had been planning on doing that they wouldn't still be talking. Bluffs were useless for her, especially ones that clearly wouldn't be filled. A knife hit the side of the wagon. It took all of Amy's control to keep from snarling at the coyote, trying to kill her. You're not worth the time. I don't want my babies contaminated by you after all. Clucking at the horse she tugged the reins, directing the wagon away from Anathema. Hopefully needing to backtrack wouldn't add too much time to the trip.

Shadow stood as still as a stone and did not flinch nor move when the blade was tossed. He heard the words and cared for them not. Words meant nothing to him and they also had less value when coming at him and Amy in the form of a Taunt. He waited for Amy to make the move to leave and when she pulled on the reins to get the horses moving Shadow walked over to where the knife was and he looked and saw a tree with a knot in the wood shaped like a perfect circle no larger than a mouse. He quickly pulled the knife from the wagon tossed it in the air, caught it by the blade and then rocketed it dead center into the knot with a loud thud.

The knife had been thrown a good 10 feet from the one who threw it so as not to make her think he was trying to hit her but prove a point. He then turned as the back of the wagon was near him and he reached out grabbed a post and swung around, with that simple movement he was in the back of the wagon ready to go. As the wagon moved he looked to the female wolf who had thrown the knife and he did nothing but offer her a simple, respectful nod of the head. In little time they were lost from sight and if they were to try and retrieve the knife from the tree they would find that the blade was buried into the tree all the way up to the handle.

His throwing of the knife had meant two things. One was that he was the guardian of Amy and that he would die for her if he had to. The second was a simple gesture of skill and determination. The nod he had offered to the female was one of respect and of a promise that Shadow himself was bound by honor and had a code and oath that must be followed. Shadow hoped that if he were to meet the Male with the many weapons and the female that it would be a peaceful meeting.

Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!' Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Aeron asked the Dasa if he wanted to bring their leader the woman’s head, the idea was tempting. The half and half probably wouldn’t act on the desire, due to the outsider’s pregnant state of being. He couldn’t possibly demoralize himself by taking the female’s life and those of the innocent. If the woman weren’t due to have pups, he might have made an attempt to kill her, or he may have just dragged her by her hair back to Naniko kicking and screaming so she could do as she wished with her.

The copper toned vixen chastised the outsiders, agreeing with the mystery man’s warning about them leaving while they had the chance. Amy retorted to Aeron’s simple toss of a knife at the wagon, saying she didn’t want her babies contaminated by her. Are we some kind of disease, oh well. At least we’re not fiends. The dark male removed the knife from the wagon’s wood and forcefully hurled it at a tree near Aeron. The male grabbed the wagon and swung himself into its back end as the woman directed the horses away. He wasn’t going to pursue the matter, they were leaving and that’s what was important. Ignorance and arrogance they go together well. If the unwelcomed female ever returned to Anathema, it would be the most foolish thing she could ever do. He would be sure to greet her personally and either kill her or imprison her for angering his Angela as she did. The multicolored mix turned, looked at the ex-assassin and let out a deep exhausted sounding sigh. Well… That was exciting, wasn’t it?! He was being kind of sarcastic, sure of which he thought Aeron could see. In his mind he thought of how he would have welcomed the physical interaction. He was confident and strong but not so much as an arrogant individual. The male would have gladly displayed only a hint of Anathema’s wraith. Mido wondered if had done the right thing in letting them get away and not pursuing them. He figured if he messed up Aeron would let him have it.
