Alternate Universe: Your character is a god or goddess. Terra now has the same powers as Loki and Anansi the Spider.
Lounging around in the heavens wasn't the best way to spend the day. Sighing Terra rolled over, peeking down to the earth. Lots of canines walked around, happy and secure in their simple lives. Everything was so stable, so boring. She'd been strictly told that her games upset the mortals too much and to stop that. Tricking the other gods was only entertaining for so long though. After that it became too easy, with them falling for the same tricks every time. Always it was a variation on their weakness, and they never seemed to improve. Well, some did, but that was besides the point. She just really wanted to mess with the mortals, and saying the gods had grown boring seemed a good enough excuse.
Reaching down Terra reversed where a lake and a city had been. Cries of confusion and panic reached Terra, bringing her to giggle. Her eyes roamed over the land, looking for more places that she could cause trouble. Spotting a couple in love Terra smiled. As they departed Terra stepped down, stealing the mortal's form to clad herself in. Only another god would be able to tell that it wasn't the mortal female who had just left. Reaching the door Terra knocked happily. I couldn't leave you, I'm sorry. The male looked at her puzzled, before sweeping her into his arms and kissing her softly. The confusion for tomorrow would be delicious.
