Banshee's in optime form, one or two others only please! Set in the Moaning Woods

Haunt, the painted blue roan who served as his only friend tossed his head and let out a faint whinny as Banshee guided him through the territory. Many miles they had traveled together, more than Banshee cared to think about. But the dreams of Sethos, the terrible she-god of his Father's people had left him no choice. He had to flee from the only family he had known. Sometimes he remembered the woman - pale and ghostly with eyes of brilliant but mad yellow-green. She had told him many stories, stories of a Crimson King and a Pale Prophet and a kingdom that burned down. For a long time he had traveled and it seemed he had found the place she spoke of. He was unsure though - it had been years since he had known his mother. But she remained one of the only women he had ever seen, and so he found himself compelled to search. Though she had abandoned him to his Father's people, Misery had been his mother.

The dreams of Sethos, the Sun-Devourer had grown worse. Despite the distance, he could not shake that god. Sethos and the dark man who tore the moon from the sky, Tak. His blood carried dark gods, evil gods, and he knew he would never escape them. Releasing the halter he was using to guide Haunt, he tightened the leather straps wrapped around his arms. The nails bit into his flesh, the pain was a welcome thing though. The pain meant he was in the world of the waking, he was not dreaming. Sethos, in her golden and terrible glory would not wreak havoc on him as long as he was awake. The moon was out as well - it was Tak's time. Until the sun rose, he would be safe from the she-god. With the leather straps tightened - the beads of blood trapped by the wide leather and hidden by the dark fur, he grabbed Haunt's halter and began making his way once more.

"Creepy place, eh?" The words were spoken in a hush to Haunt and Banshee let a strained smile cross his black and white face as Haunt nudged his furry hand and he stroked the horse's neck soothingly as they walked. He had not encountered others in quite some time, and part of him desperately hoped for company. His mismatched eyes - one bloody red and the other a brilliant yellow-green took in a most curious thing - a strangely clear, square spot on the burned lands and he approached with his head cocked to one side, taking in the strange sight in silence.

Terra growled as she moved through the broken lands. Her shoulder watered the land with her blood. She had done her best to ask for peace, only to be treated in such a way. Terra was angry, but her want was genuine. Inferni would not be touched. The trickster paused at the stream she'd played with, the cracked ice still visible. Carefully Terra shifted into optime form. Lowering herself down she washed the wounds with care, flinching slightly as the cold soaked in. She didn't have anything to keep the wound from dripping with, and Terra decided she'd be fine with the blood helping the land heal.

Terra walked through, her red hair falling and intermingling with the blood that slowly trailed down her body. It no longer hit the ground, a long path for it to wind through. Spotting a horse up ahead Terra paused. If there was a rider, they might have something she could use. Silent as a ghost Terra crossed the distance. Reaching them Terra glanced down carelessly, noting the bare spot of the land. A place so badly injured it might not ever grow back. Terra lifted her gaze again to meet the mismatched pair, her eyes laughing almost cruelly as she took him in. Travel far?
