There were so many unexplained mysteries in this world. The young male had spent a lot of time wondering and pondering over things that he had encountered in his travels. Now he stood before the remains of what he guessed had once been a bustling city. Old rusted out vehicles lay in rusted, decaying heaps along the streets, buildings toppled over or so worn by the elements that they looked like empty shells of what they had once been. Despite the amount of destruction and the rust and dust that blanketed everything around him, he saw some potential in this place. In some areas the buildings would block his view of the sky completely...but off in the distance the coyote caught sight of a few taller ones that didn't look quite as worn as the buildings directly around him. They would be perfect for some star gazing.

He'd been trying out some new techniques for his maps, working with different types of pencils and charcoal pieces to see what would give him the most accurate depiction of the night sky. He had found that making drawings in a circular fashion seemed to help. The night before, however, he'd discovered one thing...he was running out of paper. The male was desperate for more, and had made the trek to the city on this day to seek some out. Other canines in the clan had told him of the city and that it was a useful place to find supplies, but he had barely left Inferni in his time there and had gotten a bit lost along the way. Nathaniel wandered through the streets with quick steps as the skies darkened above, hoping to locate some paper and a place to sleep for the night before darkness fell completely.
