Wandering through the area Amy howled with frustration. She'd missed the turn off leading to Ichika, sending her through the mountains to who knew where, missing where her medic was. If she hadn't fallen asleep in the back this would have never happened. Instead the exhaustion of carrying the lives inside her had caught up, sending the dog into a deep sleep. When she'd woken up Raoth had taken them off to the middle of nowhere, leaving Amy to try and figure out how to turn the wagon around so they would be able to return to where they were supposed to be.

Raoth dragged behind the wagon, hobbled so that he wouldn't be able to keep up. It was his punishment for making such a mistake, forcing his feet to bleed every inch of the way it took for Amy to take them back to where he should have gotten them in the first place. Smelling a nearby pack Amy's ears perked up. That was lucky. Perhaps the locals knew a quicker way to Ichika. She drove the wagon up to the borders, and let out a questioning howl. Patiently she settled down, waiting for someone to come.

Mooo. This is a stupid post but I tried to make it good. /+000

Enlightened. Perhaps it was intuitive to put oneself through hell to come out stronger, or to traverse the unfamiliar whilst searching for something alien. Insomnia was on a half-hearted mission, sifting sand through the white toes of her paws as she walked tepidly through the mountains. In the midst of sun and sand, the rolling occasional breeze felt nice to rustle through the short, scruffy fur of her pelt. Black, long fur made it hellish to travel in the sun. Spring was fresh in the air and Lucy had traveled the short distance to the borders with no qualms. Even if it had still been freezing and blustering, she would have made the distance in spite of it all.

Insomnia felt sluggish and weighted down with the new reign of thought and puzzlement on her mind. Shadow and Jiva all had done something to her, albeit she didn't want to know what. She wanted to turn back around and seclude herself in stubborn isolation, to be free of ties to others and to remain strong and safe on her island. Unreachable and unsinkable with new weight upon the surface. But Insomnia was no longer floating on her lonely sea; instead it seemed to be dwindling and breaking off and she would soon be left drowning if she didn't swim from the barren rock of thought.

She had intended on walking to the canyons to find travelers, but across the near horizon, a great blonde-ish shape was pacing back and forth in her sight. It caught Insomnia's attention and she was vaguely hesitant to head over to the sight and inspect. Perhaps there was a more childish reason as to why she was always happy. Shaking off that particular thought, the young woman began to advance slowly to the figure, taking strong drags of the surrounding air and trying to pinpoint a familiar scent.

How long had she been standing there silently? Insomnia finally returned feebly to reality, and tweaked an ear as she found earth again. What could she say to her? A greeting was simple and stupid, especially knowing the circumstances.. and thinking back on it.. there was something and Insomnia gave a final sigh, and spoke. "Hi there. I'm Insomnia"

Speed didn't seem to be particularly important to the members of this pack. Amy had ended up climbing back into her wagon and yelling at Raoth to pass the time while she waited. He was just glad the wagon had stopped moving, allowing him to pull himself up and work on cleaning the blood from his feet where they'd been sliced. It was a difficult maneuver, considering how his feet were hobbled. Raoth had the brilliant idea of shifting to lupus form to escape, only to be met by Amy driving a knife into his back. So he remained trapped in optime form, now having to deal with the fresh rivets of blood on his back as well as the filthy wounds on his legs.

A deep sigh brought Amy's attention back to the front of the wagon. She stuck her head out, looking down on a very submissive, very unhappy black wolf. Her lips curled back in distaste. This was what passed as a greeter in this pack? She wouldn't be surprised if it fell apart, judging from how this one was acting. The greeting held no spirit, no warning, no welcome. Amy stared at the creature as if it was scum that had managed to crawl up out of somewhere. Well, she'd take what she could get, low class as this pack clearly was. I'm looking for Ichika. My wagon got turned around. She didn't feel like she needed to point out whose mistake it was, feeling that it was obvious she wouldn't be the one to do something so stupid.
