OOC herpderp? / +yo numbah!

A proud glint shone in the coyote's eyes. Even injured she was stubborn, and refusing to take any more help than she needed. Terra might have needed his help to get back, but surely after a brief rest she'd be back to how she'd been before, and be able to get her own food and the like. Terra refused to think that anything else could possibly happen. She couldn't handle the thought of having someone else take care of her, too used to being alone.

She watched him for a moment before curling up, ears folding down softly. Maybe it would be alright to relax just a little. Her senses remained focused on him, the pain throbbing before finally, slowly, she drifted off to sleep. Curled up in a tight ball Terra entered her nightmares, fighting the cougar once more and snapping at the circling laughing wolves.

Trent was kind of glad that Terra didn't want his help; he didn't want to help her, not really, wanted to just go somewhere else. "Okay," he said lamely as she wordlessly denied his help and curled to a ball. "Sleep well." It sounded rather lame, but Trent wasn't sure what else he could say to her. He wanted to be closer to her than he was, but had no clue how to, and stood there and watched her curled up for a moment. Then Trent turned away and started to trot away, realising vaguely that the proximity they had was perfectly fine and he didn't need to be closer to her at all, but there was some other reason that he felt unrest.

With a quiet sigh Trent left, moving back to the hotel where he'd fall into a fitful sleep in his mostly-empty room, although at least he had the den-like matresses there, thanks to Terra. Much like her, Trent didn't have much of a good night's rest, with many nightmares and doubtlessly meaningful dreams plaguing him.
