OOC Laughs

The world had become a much more serious place for the pup after the big pack meeting. Dalgina understood that there was trouble, and that her pack wasn't as safe as it used to be. She was unsure of why this was, but it brought a more solemn air to her. Dalgina still played around, but she had grown more quiet, asking less questions as she was unsure if she really wanted to know the answers now. Her dreams seemed much easier to deal with, welcoming and always full of strange new things for her to explore.

Dalgina had headed up to the abbey, and was currently wandering around the stone halls. She knew that her ronkyha came here to think sometimes, and it made her look back on things. Did she come here to think about things? Was she searching for Honrin? Dalgina wasn't quite sure. It was some very serious stuff for her to think about, and her mind eventually gave up, returning to considering the pretty carvings that covered the wall. Sitting up Dalgina pressed her paws against it, feeling how it fit against her.

OOC here!

The abbey was his favorite place to be these days even though he was all alone up here mostly now that the remaining Herald ranks had left Ichika to seek enlightenment elsewhere. Honrin now had nobody to learn from in his path towards becoming a priest so he would have to teach himself. Although at least his mother knew most of the rituals, she had told him so when he had expressed his concern for she had been good friends with the former Priest Ansui.

The boy was off in one of the small alcoves before a golden figure of a human man that Honrin would fail to recognise as Buddha. The round bellied human was the jovial expression captured his thoughts and the boy sat before it and looked at it, seeking an explanation for it. Instead his pastime forced him to think hard about things he would not have done so under his own duress and he found himself coming up with observations and hypotheses about things that occurred daily. The statue of course provided no help but the action of staring at it calmed the boy and helped him ignore the lights and shadows that whizzed around his head.

The carvings were surely fascinating. Feeling them underneath her was amazing. Her pads could feel the change in texture as it moved around, each part unique. Tail wagging she pushed back off from the wall, continuing to wander through the abbey. There was certainly a lot of design and color in this place, even if it was empty a lot of the time. That didn't actually sound good. Dalgina found herself wondering if life could be brought back to the place. An image of lots of canines crowding the room, admiring the beauty and seeking peace filled her mind.

Wandering she passed some small alcoves, each one with a small glittering light inside. Her tail was held high in her wanderings, gracefully gliding among the imaginary adults. So caught in her fantasy Dalgina walked right past her ronkyha. She froze, coming back to reality. Retracing her steps she stuck her head in, seeing Honrin's white form before a large golden statue. A whine escaped her before she realized it. Honrin was always so wise and serious, and Dalgina had to wonder if he knew the answers to the questions she didn't want to ask.

The paw pads of his sister upon the polished floor pulled the young boy from his deep inner trance as he stared at the statue of Buddha. His ear twisted as the sounds began to retreat and a small frown came onto his face. She had walked right past time, how had she not noticed. But then as he pondered more upon it, Dalgina was always lost in her fantasies and dreams, it was a cute quality she possessed, she was guaranteed to always be happy having come back from a world of amazing dreams. If only his own dreams could be so innocent and pure as hers were.

Abruptly Honrin felt very old and very tired as though a great weight bore down upon him and it was at that moment that his sister chose to come back to seek him out. His golden eyes pierced the soft light cast by the candles and he idly wonderd who continued to tend them now that the resident priest and fire tender had disappeared. Still thinking on this even more he turned to his sister as she approached and offered her what was supposed to be a comforting smile, and he spoke to her completely in Arctic speak,

"Greetings mine sister. How fare you today?" His words and the age in his voice betrayed his small body for Honrin was mature beyond his few months of life.

Candles flickered softly, casting an eery light over the area, despite that it was still day. There were no windows in there, making it dark enough to need the light to see more clearly, though the place was a shaded grey where the candles didn't reach instead of the true black of darkness. A smile lit up Honrin's face at her approach, bringing a small smile from her face, relieved that the image of knowing too much wasn't true. He was still her ronkyha, the one she loved to pieces and trusted to take care of her if anything bad happened.

His greeting was formal, sounding like Mahn talking to a leader, or citing a prayer, more than talking to her. Surprise had her eyes widening before she replied. Namaste ronkyha. Kanyana. Ya d'houpe. D'quel toi? Dalgina wasn't as good at the formal speech as Honrin was, though she did know some parts. Her speech usually rapidly deteriorated into the playful words that she used day to day though, without formality in them.

His attempt at formality was purely to respect the sanctity and sacredness that the temple displayed, people had come here before and worshiped their gods, whoever they might be with love and reverence in their hearts, this he was certain of and he was wary to show any type of informality in the face of such a thing but the tones and voice of his sister inevitably caused a loosening of his tongue and the vowels and consonants tripped easily from his tongue as water did from the sky.

He did not reveal his reason for walking the territory and it was sure to upset her if he did, if she asked he would lie to her, lie for her own peace of mind. He remembered the time a while ago where he had attacked Kiara for lying to Dalgina by pretending to be dead and decided that his actions were just, he had a good reason, to spare her pain. Their Mahn would get in trouble for hurting X'yrin but he wouldn't not as much anyway, they would just assume his play had gotten a bit rough, maybe a strict talking to but X'yrin would hurt Mahn even more if Jace decided to attack.

Dalgina's tail wagged happily as her ronkyha spoke. It was much more relaxed now. Stepping over Dalgina nuzzled him, black against white as she brushed along his body. Hearing that he'd walked the borders Dalgina frowned, worried. Mahn ghio'm whis don. Tio vi'ghio khilwe. The last time she'd gone to the borders with Keldava Mahn had been very mad, and had yelled at both of them. The cold intimidating appearance shown had quickly dissolved into a lecture as they went back, both pups with their heads hung.

She could understand why Honrin would choose to rest here though. It was so beautiful. The colors and carvings that filled through here, even though they were quiet ones, enveloped one as they entered. Lying down Dalgina looked up at the golden statue, peace framing her body. Glancing over to Honrin Dalgina smiled softly. Here the nightmares were gone. She couldn't be harmed, could relax. Dalgina still didn't know why she'd come, but both purposes had been accomplished, letting her mind clear and finding her dear ronkyha.
