EXAMPLE one:
Quote:The pregnant inamorata had left her room early that morning for a small stroll, padding around on all fours for the chilly duration of the morning. Maybe Omni could prove herself worthy even in her slightly changed state of pregnancy, catch a few rabbits or squirrels for the food storage. By her feet treaded a soft-footed coyote pup. Sinatrai the adopted child. While hunting, she had hid the child with the torn ear in some tall winter-dead grass, hiding him from anything to come.
Alas, the pickings were not the best in most days, a hare had managed to scamper away from her slender paws, squirrels had shimmied up the base of trees into the safety of the branches. Irritated, Omni's tail flicked like a small dancing flame for a moment. Clearly pissed by the lack of worth she had experienced with her maternity. Of course the new pups were important, new light of life and purity. Unfortunately, the changes the young she-yote were experiencing were not in the most pleasant of order.
Omni had left Jacinto alone in the room, he had to finish up some projects he had told her. Probably for Sinatrai and the unborns. Gentle jaws scooped the small coyote boy from the reeds, amazed at how such sharp dagger of teeth could be used as something of protective care and softness.
A high call echoed through the crisp morning air, summoning and somewhat regal. Tall ears perked, debating whether it was her job to answer that call. Tail swishing, Omni peered lovingly down at her small boy. "Come along..." She cooed, gently patting his hindquarters with a delicate paw. The pup moved forward, obediently following his mother. Luckily, they weren't too far from the Aquila. Deciding that Sina had walked enough for the day, Omni picked him by the scruff of his tawny nape, carrying him protectively to the area the king had taken up as a meeting place. Squeezing through a space in the gate, Omni faced the Aquila, keeping some distance with her lower rank. She flattened her ears slightly, sending a nod of hello over to the de le Poer man. "Zeke." The girl greeted softly. Sinatrai was placed delicately by her russet feet, quiet yet curious of the man sitting before them.

Quote:Omni couldn't be more embarrassed as Helotes spoke, it was true though. Neither of them had wasted their time on pups. At least it was some other form of commitment, how could she leave him? The young coywolf loved the caramel musician. Soon enough, she was in a gentle hold by Helotes, who gently kissed her head. Small arms brought themselves around her new brother's body, giving a friendly hug as he spoke of being happy to have her in the family. The small coywolf laughed and gently pulled away to stand beside Jacinto, forgetting her nervous outlook on everything. Her russet mate guessed on the due date, it was pretty close. Omni hadn't ever been too great of a scholar, she had picked up some random mathematics from books in her life, fascinated with the progress of the human's extinct knowledge. Idly, the cinnamon girl calculated the rough arrival of her children. "Well...If everything goes as planned, I'd say about three weeks." The bumpy road wasn't over yet, she could miscarry them. It wasn't something she didn't acknowledge.
A voice near had her turning with Jacinto. There stood a woman, very beautiful and with a sassy air about her. There was some resemblance there. This was Jacinto's sister. The small hybrid nodded as her mate introduced them. Omni found herself chuckling as Ilusion called them lovebirds, adding her own comment. "Hey. Do you know your brothers are hard to stay away from? One of them is so so beautiful." Omni paused to gently punch Jacinto in the shoulder, continuing "And the other-I would kill to have him as my brother every day. I bet you're pretty similar. It's nice to meet you." Omni tried to be as polite as she could, it wasn't hard to imagine Ilusion and herself getting along, other than Col, Jacinto's siblings seemed really cool. So this was family, she had lost it with her horrid mother, and a father who never stuck around. Her siblings were dead, and this was the closest most cherished family the brunette could ever wish for. Jacinto told his sister of the coming arrival of children, and that shut her up. She wanted her children, but didn't want the rumors and ill feelings. And if there was rumors, Omni couldn't help but think Columbine was stoking those fires.
EXAMPLE three:
Quote:Omni woke up that morning with a smile upon her face, yawning and stretching from the restful sleep aquired that last night. Maybe it was the pregnancy, that conked her out early in the night. Whatever it was, at least she was resting much better. The bulge upon her stomach was getting rather annoying now, yet the coywolf looked upon it with love, soon it would be gone and tiny pups would be breathing the outside air. Rolling over just the slightest, Omni touched Jacinto's shoulder softly trying to awaken the attractive ginger hybrid. Just that, and the pregnant belle found herself scooting closer to be pressed neatly against his body, despite the bump.
The time when the pups would arrive was becoming an excitement within the young woman, she couldn't wait to hold them proudly and cuddle them close. Oh how beautiful that would be. She would be able to nurture them, and feed them. And even protect them. It would be a dream. In her excitement, her hands were placed upon her growing abdomen, feeling for any movement from her children. There was times when Omni wanted to congratulate Jacinto, hold him as tight as she possibly could. Tell him over and over again that he would be a wonderful father.
Sparkling blue eyes fell upon her jewel of a mate, stroking his fiery hair softly. Months ago, she wouldn't have expected this. If not Jacinto, who would she end up with? Probably someone not as sweet as her current lover.
A tongue flew happily from her lips to repeatedly graze the Lykoi's face and nose. "Get up you attractive lump of sexypants." She teased lightly, stopping her kisses to laugh lightly and hold his hand to her heart. "I mean--Good morning good sir."
