OOC start wrapping up?

Keldava arrived first, hitting Papa at full speed. Unfortunately, Papa was prepared for them, warned by the call. He squirmed around, knocking her back over. Dalgina dived into the pile, barking happily as they wrestled around. Each one fought against the other, climbing to see who would get on top, only to be knocked back over. Growls filled the air as they played, everything forgotten outside their small circle of play. Dalgina pushed herself over Papa's head, a paw pressing down on his nose as she worked on scrambling up, only to have her tail grabbed and pulled back down, heaped over by her tingla.

It was a great surprise. Dalgina was happy to spend time with her talnala. With her tingla and Papa Dalgina couldn't be happier. Time flew by with the day, exploring and wrestling, a short break for food, then right back to playing. Keldava outmatched her speed and energy, but Dalgina just laughed, full of joy at what they were doing. It was late when she crawled back to Papa's side, settling in sleepily.

Yeah, we can wrap it up.

It had been a long day that Temo had spent with his two pups at the beach and after a quick meal that the gulls and crows were more than happy to fight over and clean up the scraps that the wolf family left behind when they moved off after eating. It was a good day where he had forgotten the worries and to do's that typically plague an adult's day to day life.

The sun was getting dangerously close to the tops of the mountains to the west signalling to the world that the day was soon to end. Despite their continued play, Temo could see the beginnings of sleep in all four of his young pup's eyes. I know how much fun we had here and that it would be nice to stay, but it is time that we head back for home.

With his words, he stood up and stretched his frame out with some popping and snapping from various joints. After the stretch, Temo shook the sleep away that was slowly creeping into his head as he shook the dust and sand from his fur. Then making sure his pups were ready, Temo put the ocean and beach to his back and headed off into the woods for the trek home.

Sleepy protests broke from the announcement. They weren't ready for the day to end. Keldava jumped up, claiming that she still had lots of energy and could keep going. Sleepily Dalgina stood up after her, nodding agreement. Papa's firm actions cemented their leaving though, and the pups trotted after him. Yawns filled the way back home, stretching out. Occasionally Dalgina tripped on her paws, forcing her wider awake as they traveled. With the house in sight she quickly bounded the last part, eager to curl up and sleep now. She made it into the bedroom, leaping up on the bed where Mahn and Papa slept. Keldava followed after. Curling up Dalgina nudged through the warmth before her eyes drooped closed, and she fell asleep, dreams of the day's adventures tumbling through her mind.

The end to another beautiful day. | +220

Other than the forest noises of the day critters saying their good nights to each other and to the sun and the night time creatures beginning their stirrings and greeting each other with their good mornings, It was a quiet trek home for the three wolves. Although he was starting to feel that sleep was slowly creeping up on him, It did not stop him from his ever vigilant senses keeping tabs on what was going on around them making sure that no surprises came up that would endanger his children.

When the house came into sight, Temo watched his pups bound ahead and into the house, eager to go to sleep despite their protests to the contrary when they left the beach. He made his way to the bedroom and made sure that his beautiful children were safe and tucked into bed.

With the horses fed and watered and a few new pieces of wood on the fire for the growing flames to lick at, Temo settled down on the couch to wait for Jace to find her way home. The night sounds muffled by the walls of the house and the flickering light from the fire and the tiredness of the day catching up to him, it was not long before Temo had fallen asleep, still on the couch.
