Hadley refused to give her the name of the woman who had hurt him so. He had given her enough though. Isa now knew that it was in fact, a woman, she was a trader and kept slaves, and her name started with an A. It shouldn’t be too terribly difficult to find her. She was determined to hunt the woman down and give her what she deserved. He seemed to be nervous and he placed his hand over the blue ribbon around his wrist. How had she not noticed it before? Oh well, it was just a piece of cloth, nothing special.
He flinched a little when she touched him, but it wasn’t as bad as it had been before. It seemed he was getting used to being touched by her. The thought brought a smile to Isa’s face. Hadley stood from his kneeling position and smiled a little at her. The tone in his voice made it clear to her that he wanted to part ways. She nodded and began to walk around Casa. She still hadn’t been around all of Casa yet and wanted to see her new home. Isa still wasn’t completely there, still unstable but not nearly as bad as she had been earlier. She knew from how her body felt that she did in fact, have sex with Hadley. She didn’t know why she didn’t remember it or why he didn’t either. Isa was struggling with trying to decide if she should tell him or not. What if she ended up carrying his pups? She wanted pups but not with a man she had just met. She was struggling within herself, making her even more unstable and bringing her even closer to her breaking point. She kept walking, her back to Hadley, unsure when she would get the chance to see him again.
