Well, here you go ^^ I starts thread. Does it work ok?
It was raining. Again. It seemed that the ground had barely dried up before the skies had opened once more, and Styx was taking a trek through the woods to keep in relative shelter. They'd been here for quite a while now, but since Styx had spent so much time cooped up in camp -- not that he minded it, but there was a thing known as "too much" -- he hadn't really met many people. And he wanted to change that. If nothing else, he could try to help Hel by also finding out information about the guy she was looking for.
Huddling under a cloak, he was right now pausing beneath a dense tree to wait for an intense rainfall to pass. He'd need to get hold of a pair of shoes of some kind; right now, his paws were sinking down into the wet moss, and it wasn't too comfortable. He'd tried some human shoes, but they'd obviously not been made for wolves and they had hurt him. Perhaps he could find someone who was good with leather-working?
Styx wasn't too fond of rain. Not only did it ruin sight by putting a blanket of gray over everything, but it also washed away over fifty per cent of all scents before they actually reached his nose, so he was literally half blind. Fortunately, they didn't need to rely on instincts and keen senses as much these days as they'd had to do long ago, before the first wolf was able to shift, so he wasn't too worried.
