Amy lead her wagon to the border of the pack. She'd stopped here once before, needing directions on how to get back on track after Raoth got them hopelessly lost while she slept in the wagon. That time had passed though, and Amy was back with confidence, ready to trade. She had all kinds of things that canines would find useful in the spring, with pups coming and the prey growing stronger. It would definitely bring in a bountiful trade as she went along, ready to help.

Lifting her head Amy released a booming howl, summoning someone that is close. Her voice promised that she held something they would like, something they wouldn't want to miss out on. Raoth moved around in the back, glad that this time at least he wasn't bleeding on their borders. Sharply Amy snapped at him, sending the slave scurrying back to behind the wagon. Softly she petted her horse, looking over the animals that she held. Maybe they would find homes here. The young crow she'd purchased spread it's wings, fluttering to her shoulder. She had bought it for the crow system in Anathema, hoping it would help her make more sense of how it worked.

OOC here. /+000

She had woken up that morning with the intent of running around in the sun. She wanted to look at the leaves in the trees as she walked along, and feel the heat on her body, and listen to everything as it transformed from the winter wonderland that she had come home to. Although she had seen all of this from the time she had been born, it was always different, every year, looking through the eyes of a wolf one year older than she had been before. Looking at everything when she was a little older meant that she could see everything in a more serious light than she had seen it in before. Maybe find something else that she kept missing.

She was walking slowly through the woods around New Dawn, looking through all of the leaves and their waxy surfaces, seeing the sun in tiny bits and pieces. For some reason the dry heat felt so... wonderful. She liked spring and summer and boasted it as her favorite season. It had always been like that, ever since she had been a puppy. Her first memory was playing at the beach with the first friend she ever made. She would have to make another trip to the beach sometime, she thought with a small grin and a chuckle. As she walked along, she smelled something close by, another wolf to be exact, and looked around. Female, and right there, not too far away from her, sitting in the same direction as her but further ahead. She raised her brow, looking at her and trying to remember who she was, but no name could come to mind. "Time to make myself known, maybe?" she muttered to herself, looking. She looked over his pelt, taking in her dark midnight colouring, making sure her fur wasn't matted or covered in anything like mud. HEr fawn chest and underbelly were fine, her dark sides and legs fine. Seemed like everything was in order. Of course she couldn't see her face, but he assumed she would be fine. Not like looks mattered at all.

She took a breath in, feeling a little nervous about talking to someone randomly, and then sped up her pace. "Hey there!" she called out, catching up to her as her long legs carried her quickly and smoothly over to her. She gave her a friendly smile, and said, "Where are you headed? Would you like some company?" She was being very friendly, and felt sort of odd, being so loose and comfortable. "That is, if that's okay." she added, and peeked her head around and looked at her wagon type deal./p>

*troll face* Big Grin Zalen is in Secui Smile

Zalen had been scouting the borders, but not so fervently that he couldn’t enjoy the beautiful sunshine that was gracing the earth this day. In fact, he was being very lazy with his duties, hardly scent marking at all but instead walking lazily about, tongue lolling out of his face giving him a somewhat comical look. He was in a great mood, it seemed spring was finally here, and he was more than welcoming of it. Plus, now that Titania was maturing to full adulthood, he felt that there was a growing tension between them, but a positive one, as anticipation of possible offspring mounted.

He knew Insomnia was nearby, he could smell her on the wind, though he did not think to go and interact with her just yet until he heard a very odd howl. It did not sound like a wolf, at least, not completely and it perked his ears. It was nearby, on the borders, and so he made his way there, but as leisurely as before. Every once in a while he felt as if he could see a dark shape moving through the trees nearly a mile in front of him, and he believed this was Insomnia. It seemed as if the call had alerted her as well.

It did not take him long to sense the scent of the caller, and it smelled distinctly of another pack, and one he did not recognize. That, plus there was the scent of horses, and other things. Zalen hurried his pace then, a strange gnawing worry suddenly coming upon him.

Finally, the individual came into view. It was a Luperci dog woman, with a cart and horses. Zalen became nervous; who was this woman and what was she doing calling upon their borders? Insomnia was already there, speaking to her, though he was still too far to hear what was being said. Then, suddenly, Zalen noticed another figure, behind the cart; it was a young coyote male, scarred up and looking extremely frightened. Zalen could nearly smell his fear on the wind; and was he tied to the cart? Zalen’s eyes widened; he was a slave!

The ebony Alpha’s quick pace turned into a sprint until he was upon them, and with hackles raised and teeth bared he stepped between Insomnia and the dog woman; Leave. Was all he said.

Amy looked over to see who answered her call. Great, it was that idiot who had given her directions the last time she was here. Amy was in no mood to deal with her stupidity. The wolf had been so dark last time, extremely unwelcoming. Just being near the wolf again had Amy tempted to strangle the wolf and actually take the pelt as her own. It could make a nice cloak. Anything would be better than having to deal with the blasted dark chatter again. The wolf was chipper this time, Amy staring in disbelief. Maybe it was a sister or something. No, the scent was the same. The wolf was probably just unstable or something.

Amy looked away, pretending she hadn't noticed the young wolf at all, spotting a large black wolf running towards them. His hackles was raised, worry and anger rising off him. Amy stared in surprise. She hadn't done anything to warrant such a greeting. Amy tugged on the horse's head, causing it to back up a few steps. I don't believe I trespassed over your borders. Why such a harsh greeting? She remained polite, her ground held as she asked her question.

OOC here!

Familiarity touched her delicate nose, bringing her ears to stand again on alert and her tail to twitch eagerly. As long a time as it was since she smelled that musk, she could never forget the face it matched. Anxiety melted away in an instant and excitement again took its place. Familiarity came to her sights and she looked at the male. "Hey Zalen" the woman called to him, already taking stride to greet him. Her tail wagged with greeting and upon her lips and delicate smile, matured from the over optimistic grin she'd once possessed. Than she looked back at Amy and than Zalen. He was angry, why? She was just hear to trade right? She shook her head and lowered herself to the ground.

He no messing around

Zalen’s ear twitched momentarily towards Insomnia as she greeted him, though his green eyes never left those of the bitch before him. Insomnia was one of the most naïve, innocent girls in New Dawn, and Zalen hoped that this show wouldn’t frighten her too much. But this woman, she was everything that Zalen loathed about the Luperci; a non-wolf, a trader of human goods, a keeper of livestock, and a slave-owner; he would not have her within smelling distance of New Dawn and he was going to make that quite clear.

Though the woman did back her cart off several feet, she did not just turn and leave as he had requested, much to his dismay. His black lips drew back even further then, from a warning to a full out threat as she asked haughtily why he was so harsh in his greeting, I will not speak with you. You will leave, NOW! And he took several strides towards the horse before him, readying to snap at its legs to send it running. His eyes flitted then to the back of the cart again, where the slave was being kept, and his heart burned with anger and sorrow. Coyote or not, no living creature deserved that fate.

OOC amy doesn't like him threatening her property XD

Word Count → 000

The female scum sank into the ground as the alpha's anger wrapped around them. It pleased her to see the girl so cowed, crouching into the ground. There was no understanding, but there didn't have to be for Amy to enjoy such a sight. The barbaric male's fangs drew out to full form, threatening her. She was ready to leave as requested, simply wondering why this had happened. That all changed when he strode towards her horse threateningly. The creature knew better than to panic, it'd be punished if it misbehaved in the slightest.

Amy's own temper snapped, fangs bared at the alpha. Do not threaten me! Her words had a deep growl behind them. She stepped between the alpha and the horse, noticing the glance towards the back of the wagon. This is about my slave? I don't see much difference between how I treat him and how your pack would treat omegas. Barbaric customs, all the same in her mind. The low ranked were treated as slaves wherever she went. At least Amy was civilized enough to acknowledge that she gave no rights to her slaves, while the savages pretended the omega was one of their own. If this pack was as savage and uncivilized as it appeared they probably thought the same way, their omega treated no better than the coyote behind her wagon.

Sharply she snapped at the horse, sending it retreating. It started along the path to Anathema, Raoth bringing up the back and trying to keep the animals quiet, occasionally looking over to where Amy and the black male stood, hackles raised with fear. Someone stood up to her. He wished it was him. The blasted chains kept him from coming to their side though, keeping him locked to the wagon, unable to escape. Amy waited until they were a safe distance from the threat before leaning in. Never do that again. Angrily she turned and stalked after her wagon, furious that anyone would try such a thing.
