Adelle squirmed around in her arms, trying to get away as Isa gave the pup a bath. She ended up sitting there, sulking as the older wolf washed off layer after layer of dirt and mud. It was amazing how many layers there were. It seemed to take forever to get the pup clean. Adelle was clearly unhappy but Isa wasn’t going to let her go back to her grandfather completely covered nose to tail in mud.

I’m sorry sweetheart but you needed to get clean. I know you didn’t like it and I’m sorry. She took Adelle out of the water and ran her hands through the pups fur, drying it out a bit. Isa picked the girl up again and held her in her arms. Her fur was already dry so Adelle would like the warmth, hopefully.

If Isa was truly sorry she wouldn't have given Adelle a bath in the first place. Clearly she didn't like the pup, planning against her like this. Adelle refused to meet her eyes, knowing that if she did Isa would think she'd forgiven her for putting her through that horrible torment. Adelle was lifted again, and the pup didn't turn and move closer, simply hanging there like a wet clump of fur. She'd never been so clean before in her life, not as far back as she remembered.

Her golden fur literally sparkled from the drops of water as they were carefully brushed. The black fur on the back part of her body was deep, a clean vacuum. The edges where they met looked even more fabulous. The only thing ruining it was the giant pout on the puppy's face. At least she was being cuddled into warmth. Adelle stuck her head into it, unwittingly forgiving Isa of her transgression, tuckered out from the battle.

Adelle was pouting like no other. Clearly she did not like baths. Isa hoped the young girl wouldn’t hate her because she gave her a bath. It seemed as if Adelle was not going to forgive the silver woman until Isa held her, the pup cuddling up to the warm body. Isa stroked the pup’s fur as she spoke. I’m sorry sweetheart, but you were filthy and look at you now. You look beautiful Adelle. I’m sorry I gave you a bath. Can I make it up to you somehow?

Isa looked down at the pup, hoping she would forgive her. I’ll do anything you ask, I just want to make it up to you dear. She loved the young girl and wanted to make her happy after forcing her to endure the torture of a bath. She leaned down and kissed the top of the pup’s head softly.

She was beautiful? Adelle hadn't thought of that. She was just thinking about how cold the water had been, and how much scrubbing had been done. Being snuggled was certainly a step in the right direction, warming up the pup that had been chilled so thoroughly. She looked herself over, noting that she was now a bright gold instead of the faded yellow that she was used to being. She'd changed colors! That was certainly note worthy.

Adelle considered Isa's words with great thought. She wouldn't waste the offer, she just had to know how to spend it. What did she want? Adelle liked it where she was, and there certainly wasn't a lot that she wanted. Carry me! That'd be fun! Just be carried around everywhere. It would probably only last until she grew impatient and decided to start running around again, but for now it was the perfect solution, promised fun.

Adelle looked at herself, seeing how much brighter her coat was after the bath. Isa hadn’t meant to upset the pup so much; she just knew her grandfather wouldn’t be happy with such a muddy puppy. When asked what she would want, Adelle thought about it for a moment before settling with being carried. Isa chuckled and stood up with the girl in her arms. Alright. Where do you want to go?

Isa would carry the girl anywhere she wanted to go, until she was told where to go though, she would just walk around.

Her request brought laughter, something which the imperial puppy frowned on. She had been told that Isa would do anything. It was a good request, no? She wanted to be carried, that was all. There was nothing wrong with that. The arms wrapped around her, strong and warm, and she was hoisted into the air. From her perch Adelle peered over, excited. She knew she had to stay still, as most had trouble holding her for long amounts of time, but she was real careful to keep in the arms as she moved around, legs flopped over the arms holding her.

The feeling of being carried around was nice, a soft rocking motion with each step. She viewed the lands around them from a higher viewpoint she didn't normally get, able to see things that weren't there before. The fort! Clim toer! Adelle was so excited, she didn't work on her english at all, simply ready to go out there, to the top of the battlements and be able to look over everything that was out there, take it all in.

Adelle stayed still in Isa’s arms, making it easy to carry the pup around. Adelle wanted to go back to the fort and Isa smiled down at the pup and nodded. We will go back to the fort, and then next time I’m going to teach you more English. Alright? She wasn’t sure if Adelle would understand everything she said, which is exactly why Isa wanted to teach her more.

Isa carried the young girl all the way to the fort and held her, wondering if Adelle would even want to be put down. Isa kissed the top of the girl’s head and set her down anyways. We will have more fun next time ok? Isa smiled and watched as Adelle went back to her grandfather. She turned and went back to her own room as well, tired after a long day playing with the pup.
