Eeerrrm this is a little old, as it was a private thread but I am opening it now. Work with me people XD. Right Outside of Twilight Vale.

She's got colors to spare and i don't care what they choose
The wounds were still healing slowly. Slowly, slowly, slowly. The process was so sluggish that Cercelee wasn’t sure at times if her body was responding at all. That however was just pessimistic thinking. Of course she was healing, already she could put a slight amount of weight on her hind leg and turn her neck just a tiny bit more ever day. Still she hobbled about on three legs like a cripple and was unable to check behind herself to see if anyone came sneaking up behind her. Still missing patches of fur around her neck and large wounds crusted with dried blood decorated her body. Strings of some material that Naniko had sewn into her body held her skin together while her muscles tried to reform to what they once were. At least those who saw her no longer assumed the wounds were so fresh she was in need of help, the no longer awed at her misfortune. Cercelee still looked like someone who had been through hell, but she also looked like someone who was healing.

No one asked her to leave Twilight Vale, and indeed all the members she met there were kind to her, save for Colibri, but she hadn’t been a member, not truly. Just another stray dog hanging around, looking for handouts. Naniko would not ask her to leave until she was healed more throughly than this, for the female still checked on her recovery, tested to see how well the muscles healed, made sure infection didn’t set in. Still, despite feeling welcome, she felt herself a burden. Unable to hunt on her own she ate whatever was left over from the others, having no real den and unable to be exposed to the elements in her condition she slept mostly in the big house, hidden out of sight but still feeling awkward that she was there at all. And while those she spoke with were kind enough to talk and keep her distracted for a few hours, she grew bored. While running Dahlia she had so much to do, and even when there was no job to do she could make one up if she wished, or she could drop in on any of her pack members. Here she had nothing to do but rest.

And so when she felt well enough for it, after a good night’s sleep and when her body ached and throbbed less than usual, she took to wandering. Mostly she had learned the paths of Twilight Vale, but like her recovery her exploration went very slowly. Rest stops came often, and sometimes what had only been planned as a quick stop to catch her breath turned into the end of the walk, for fear that if she pushed herself too far she would wind up stranded in a field, too tired to make her own way back. Everyday though, that fear grew less and less as her rest stops slowly diminished, or at least became much more infrequent. It was actually her first rest stop of the day when she realized that she had wandered straight out of Twilight Vale for the first time since being brought here. The realization was enough to take her breath away, although the long, hobbled trek here had probably contributed. Lowering herself to the ground, and rolling over onto the cool grass, Cercelee gave a sigh on contentment. The Twilight Vale border was not far away, she could still see it if it were tangible, instead of an invisible line, but all the same she felt miles away. Miles away and ready for a whole new adventure.

Hope you don't mind my boy! Wink I know the thread was started July 24th, but is it alright if we "officially" date it Aug 1st or something? Aiden first entered Souls territory on the 31st, so...yeah. If not, um, I'll work things around. XDDDD

Calm. Peaceful. Quiet. Boring. Those were the exact words Aiden would use to describe this particular day. Never one to fall into the sour mood of lazy boredom, the male however had take advantage of the weather and could currently be found exploring the southwestern parts of the recently founded territories. His inverted cross dangled loosely from its silken cord draped about his neck, now and then catching the sun and sending little flickers of light dancing across his path. The large wolf trotted quietly through the dense and scrubby undergrowth, ignoring for now the scurrying rodents that darted panicking from his trail. Dried blood smeared his maw and neck, and his stomach was quite content with the large rabbit he'd managed to catch an hour earlier.

His four paws took Aiden aimlessly through the countryside as he explored what he's picked as his new home. From what he could tell, there were a few established packs in the area, and what seemed to be quite a large number of loners as well. He'd encountered only one other in the time since descending the northern mountain range, and she'd seemed more than pleasant enough. The male chuckled softly at his thoughts as he continued on, blue eyes sparkling with the lightness of his mood.

The male's steps slowed to a halt as his eyes happened upon an obstacle in his path. It was wolf-shaped, paws in the air, with light-colored fur, perhaps an alabaster or cream. The feminine scent that graced his nose was a mixture of two of the packs Aiden had identified, one of which bore the scent of this stranger quite strongly along its border. His curiosity piqued, the ebony wolf padded softly over to the prone form of the female. Lovely day, isn't it?

     Weeee. Yeah.

Ears perked up at the sound of the voice, and Cercelee rolled her body over slightly to look up at the male who had spoken. She knew it was foolish of her to be caught here, laying on the ground in her condition, but that hardly mattered anymore. The damage had been done to her, and now she wasn’t afraid of confrontation, of physical injuries. She had been seconds away from death and the rosea of Dahlia de Mai was still here, there wasn’t a point in being afraid of others anymore. Besides, those who meant harm rarely made small talk about the weather. Smiling easily at the male she rolled to her feet and brought herself into a upright position, sitting back on her haunches.

"The day is quite beautiful." Cercelee nodded in agreement, although she didn’t know how much enthusiasm the male actually had for the weather, it seemed more like just an ice breaker, and excuse to speak to a stranger. That was just as well. "I’m Cercelee, from Dahlia de Mai." It still felt strange, claiming her home to be a pack she hadn’t seen in weeks. Still, she would return, and as far as she knew, none of the other members had ousted her. If they did, well she wouldn’t mind taking a lower rank, but did any of the Dahlia members have ambitions for her rank, or were they quite content to have Haku hold down the fort until she returned? Ah well. And as for the stranger, he smelt of no pack in particular, but just to be sure Cercelee asked. "And you sir, are you a loner?" Sometimes if they were new enough, they didn’t smell of the pack they hailed from.
