Marie, lady! Smile Again, please don't feel any pressure to respond to this before you have time, haha. Shandom's in lupus and he's standing a few feet away from the AT borders.

Traveling with a purpose was, perhaps, one of Shandom Qi'Vaex's least favorite activities. The Gamma of New Dawn was well known for his restlessness, frequently flitting in and out of his pack's borders like a ghost, returning sometimes within hours and sometimes within days. It did not speak anything ill of his family - Shandom loved them desperately, and would do anything for the wolves who lived by his side - but the light man could not help the pull of the wild that had dominated his heart for so many years. The former Alpha, the former loner, would never be the same pack creature he'd been in his youth. No, too much had happened, too much had been seen, and it left him with a bit of his disconnect from his fellow wolf. So many of his brothers and sisters were carefree and light, flitting through life without a visible care in the world. Shandom couldn't do that - he'd never been able to do that. The scarred man was serious and traditional, and though New Dawn modeled itself in such a fashion, he could not help but notice flaws that he could only associate with the Luperci virus.

But he was being overly critical, he knew. As the white man padded along the forest floor on his way to Anathema, he considered the task set out for him: visit the other pack with the intent of making New Dawn known, and to extend a tentative hand of peace. Before he'd left, he'd spoken briefly with Zalen, and the Alpha encouraged him to be cautious and wary of the strange place. Shandom knew they lived in a more human style - it was, after all, Naniko's home - and were very different from the Dawners, but the Gamma was eager to give them a fair shake. He had no qualms with them, and wanted to ensure they knew that New Dawn did not pose a threat, and merely wished to be left alone to their private ways.

It was, however, a shockingly long journey. Shandom knew the general location of Anathema to be East of New Dawn, lying on the other side of the Halycon, but he hadn't expected the journey to take so long. He moved quickly in his four legged form, but the male had stopped for rest for several hours, curling up beneath a tree and fervently missing his pack-mates. His visit to Anathema caused him to be slightly nervous, not only because he planned to meet with their diplomat, but because he wanted to see Naniko while he was there as well. The Gamma felt badly that so much time had elapsed before visiting the white woman, but but he could not deny his duties at home. Plus, she probably had her paws full, what with her children and the duties of leading a pack.

Eventually, after nearly two full days of travelling, Shandom reached the borders of a pack that reeked of Naniko, and he knew he'd found his destination. The Gamma could not help but be slightly chagrined that he had not brought a gift for the leadership, but this was purely a business visit. He would likely find something outside the borders for Naniko, anyway, when he saw the Angela. His visit to her would be one purely based upon friendship.

He moved to howl, but then paused for a moment, considering his shape. It took him a moment to debate whether or not to shift into his bi-pedal form before choosing against it: although Anathema might predominately live on two legs, he was here to represent New Dawn, and would behave in his natural way. The Gamma tipped his head back again and released a booming howl, requesting as politely as possible for an ambassador to come to the borders so he might speak with them. Finishing his song, Shandom made sure to place a respectful distance between himself and the borders of the pack, so as to ensure nobody thought he was trespassing.

Aeron was making her rounds it was nothing special and the day was passing by with ease. The sun was high in the sky and the Atheed rode her large stallion. The male seemed to not be bothered by the slow pace in which they moved along the land. It made it so much more fun as the stallion gave a small buck testing Aeron.

Aeron yawned as she gripped the reigns. Hey don't make me turn you into glue. She teased as the male bucked her again. He was spit and she was vinegar. Together they were a pair that could not be stopped.

A wolven howl echoed over the land and aeron urged the goofy horse forward. He whinnied and moved forward though he couldn't help himself but take a step back or to the side trying to throw her off her game. Aeron huffed, Come on it could be important. She said as he huffed. Aeron rolled her eyes coming upon the scent of the male. He was in Lupus and aeron kinda laughed a little to herself. Greeting She spoke pulling on the reigns to slow the stallion.

It wouldn't take long for someone to arrive at the borders, but it was just long enough for Shandom's mind to wander slightly. Mismatched orbs canvassed the strange lands, taking in the unfamiliar place with a sort of detached interest. The New Dawn Gamma was fascinated with these other lands that Naniko called home and claimed for herself - what made her choose these lands? It was a tell tale mark of a creature, the place they called home. For Shandom, New Dawn described him as a traditionalist of the purest sense - he so rarely visited his bi-pedal form that it was almost uncomfortable for the pure alabaster man. Naniko, and so many others he met, were almost uncomfortable on four legs, an idea that he'd never been able to wrap his mind around. But it was the way of things now, the way that most lived. He wondered if his birth family knew it.

Soon a large figure began to appear, and Shandom narrowed his eyes to get a better look. Of course, one was completely useless. He ascertained a woman upon a horse, and the white Gamma almost groaned - he'd been hoping that whoever he came across would at least be travelling alone. Horses made him nervous, and rather hungry - he didn't understand the purpose of keeping the things, if not to eat them. He'd sampled horse several times in his life, and the meat was rather good. But Shandom had eaten rather recently, and wasn't going to attack the horse for no reason besides his natural predatory instincts. He would however, turn his back on this woman if her condescending laughter continued. It was well disguised, he supposed, for what it was, but Shandom did not appreciate the blatant rudeness. They were, after all, both canines. Canines belonged on four legs - he should be laughing at her! But this was Naniko's home, and he was here on a mission for New Dawn; he would not lower himself. Instead, he gave the orange woman a cordial smile and dipped his head in respect, flattening his ears against his head to show her that he acknowledged these were her lands and he intended her no harm.

Greetings, miss, the Gamma began, tilting his head up so as to look this woman in the face. My name is Shandom Qi'Vaex, and I am the Gamma of New Dawn, a new pack in this Northern Region. I come under a banner of peace, and to introduce us formally to you, and your pack. May I ask your name?
