NOTES: Someone who could tell him about what has been happening in Inferni// 379 WORDS// near the mansion.

the sound of silence,

Sascha has been out more now that he had an osprey he had to take care of. Despite the time he spent on him Sascha still didn't know what to name him. He wasn't even sure if the bird would stay with him after he was better. It was that reason he was trying not to get attached to him. Perhaps he should talk to Val about it and see what she thinks though right now he wanted to take care of something else. Before leaving his room he made sure the injured bird had enough to eat, having caught some mice earlier in the day and leaving it in a nest he made himself. It may not have been made by sticks but it would have to do for now since he was unable to make one himself. Besides, the osprey wasn't showing any signs of discomfort thus far and so he felt he was doing a good job.

With his club strapped to his back and his bag hanging diagonally on him, he headed out the door with a last glimpse of the bird. The scowl on his face was strong due to the fact that he was doing something out of his norm. He wasn't one to search for people. He had spent most of his life trying to avoid others, wanting to hide whenever someone approached him. However, today he was looking for anyone who would relieve his curiosity. Maybe this was his first major step in changing himself. Ruby eyes darted every direction nervously as he walked to the stables where Blitzen was staying and after releasing him he ventured onward with the albino reindeer by his side.

The Ulrich had heard something strange while inadvertently eavesdropping on a conversation two other pack members were having. He didn't stick around to hear the full of it because he was afraid of being caught even if he wasn't purposely listening while uninvited. The conversation had something to do with some fighting or something bad happening in the pack. He felt this could be his chance to prove himself, to better himself. If he could help in some way, any way, that would be good. But first, he needed to know what exactly was going on.

That day the pygmy woman had found an old half rotted tree to take her aggression out on. Helotes had asked her to stand down in the heat of battle and though she had submitted to his request she had not been happy. Her whale bone bo sounded off the heat of her anger as it flowed through the air before thumping solidly into the moist rotting flesh of the tree. Timori had started off his morning with her but upon seeing her anger begin to flow and the fire in her eyes it didn't take him long to find another sparring partner, and rather quickly at that.

She barely stood 3 feet 6 inches but even at that height she was a deadly sight if anyone took the time to actually pay her heed. She was not a warrior of the clan and she doubted she ever would be. This morning as the sun climbed higher she finally began to slow in her paces as she could feel the sweat running through her mane and along the curves of her form. She had been about to take another swing when a flash of white caught her attention.

Zana had not seen the albino raindeer often and when she turned away from her task that morning she was rather curious as to what the clan mate she had found was up to. She shook the sweat from her fur as she slowly approached the male. "Hey..." she realized she did not know the fellows name, which was strange for her. She frowned a moment before adding. "What's your name.." she felt fair foolish, but the knowledge was worth having.

OOC: Thanks for joining me <3

the sound of silence,

Both Sascha and Blitzen heard the noise carried through the air yet they still traveled. The boy's working ear pivoted in the direction the sound was coming from even when he continued in the direction he was going. He wasn't sure if it was a good idea on his part or not to check it out. Even Blitzen was curious but he stayed by his side like he normally does. It wan't until he heard someone's voice when he stopped, turning where he stood and looking towards the other who was approaching.

He waved at the female he didn't recognize but when she asked for his name he needed something more than his hands. Reaching into his bag he pulled out his means of communication, which consisted of a a booklet and pen, and scribbled down his name. Sascha. He held it up for her to read with hopes that she was able to read it. He had met a couple of others who weren't able to read which made his conversations quite awkward to begin with. The young Ulrich had found what he was searching for, someone to question about what he had heard from hearsay or what have you. However, he needed to know if she could understand him and her reading his name was a first.

As he waited with curiosity despite the scowl he always carried, Blitzen had turned to look at the female as well as he sniffed the air before him. Sascha released one of his hands holding the book to pat the side of his companion, glancing over at him for a second or two before returning his gaze upon the russet face with purple like eyes.

She wasn't certain what to think of the strange male. She had seen him about before and he looked just a worn from the world as she did.. soon she discovered something that she should have realized as he fumbled for paper to write with. She was mildly surprised at him writing on the paper but few knew her own reading and writing skills as she saw no need to inform the world of all her secrets. She sat back a moment at being given his name as she returned the favor. "I'm Zana.." she said, rubbing a scratch on her wrist as she spoke up once more.

"Can you not speak at all.." She knew she was being rude, but knowledge was worth having, even if it was gained through blunt questions. She flicked her eyes about for a moment, wondering if they were really in a safe space to speak before she gave up. If the strange invaders were about they have probably heard everything they needed to hear of the clan before they attacked.. now they were just playing with the clan like a cat with prey. She felt her heckles rising at this idea as she narrowed her eyes and frowned. "You should probably take more care with traveling the lands alone.. there's trouble brewing." He probably already knew, but it was no harm informing him of the news just incase.
