The morning was beautiful, that went without saying. Spring had hit this area quickly, already blooding wildflowers were curling up from the ground along with green grass and the lone tree in the center of the meadow of eden boasted songbirds all different colors, chirping and singing their happiness at the warm spring days. The sun poked above the few clouds that hung lazily in the sky and leant it's warmth to the land below, it's rays landing in dapples under the leafy little buds poking from the trees branches. A lone figure was within this meadow, enjoying the day thus far. Her blonde hair spilled over her shoulders as she sat beneath the tree, her mis-matched eyes - one forest green and the other a pale grey-blue looking at the object in her hands as she worked on it.

The yearling paid no mind to the mews coming from her two lynx kits, Kimbrah and Gabriel, as she worked. Her mind was solely focused on her project and would not stray unless something other then boredom was obvious in the plaintive mews leaving the small maws of the light brother and dark sister. In her slender hands she held a smooth bit of wood, the other a small utility knife. It wasn't the best to carve things with, but it would not break as easily as her bone knives did, the small point needed being too fine on the bone weapons. Sighing as she felt a nudge on her elbow from Kimbrah, she raised her gaze to the other and gave a stern, pointed look at the youngster. Her blue eyes widened and she backed away, tumbling over Gabriel who was seated behind her, napping.

Gabriel snorted at his sister and batter at her face lightly with his paws, and Kimbrah mewed angrily at the ' abuse ' she was receiving. " Gabriel! " She mewed loudly, a cross look settling on her dark-brown face. He was pale in comparison to her, instead of inheriting the dark earthy brown hues his sibling had, he was a light cream and gray mashup. " You two.. " She said with a dark look, mis-matched gaze flitting inbetween the two siblings. " Why don't you go bird hunting... you are going to have to learn if you are to catch birds for me an Alma. " She continued in a gentler tone, gesturing to the tree above her. They were still young, but growing quickly in size and they would be asked to perform things for her and she would like them to be prepared.

Meowing back at her, as they were still learning high speech, both kittens began to clamber up the trunk of the tree as quietly as they could manage as her gaze went back down to the carving in her hand.

Sorry for the length...I rambled. >.>

Sascha had been putting good efforts in busying himself in the clan to prove whatever worth he had to the leaders and everyone else all while taking care of an osprey who has yet to fly on his own. He wasn't even sure if the bird liked him or not and when the time came, he would offer the bird freedom but until then he was compelled to heal him. Returning to his room with a fish he had caught, he placed the fresh kill right before the bird and waited to see if he would eat it or not. He was still learning and with every passing day he understood something new. The tip of his tongue peeked out as he started blowing raspberries while getting ready to head out for the day. With his raggedy green pants, his bag hanging diagonally on him, and his club strapped to his back, he walked outside to where the stables were. The only noise he habitually made occupied the air around him with the sounds of nature. Blitzen could be heard rustling where he was kept and the albino reindeer perked up to meet the Ulrich's gaze. Sas waved at him in greeting with that scowl still plastered on his face before releasing him from his spot.

Just like he normally does, his companion followed where he ventured. Sascha wasn't sure where exactly he was going nor had he traveled so unplanned like he was doing now. It felt weird to him which made him feel a slightly more nervous than how he normally was but even so he pushed himself. Sas would travel within the borders to wherever he wasn't familiar with so that he would truly know the layout. He should have done it long ago but he was changing now, or rather he was working on it even if it would change little. His orange fur gleamed in the sunlight as he continued to blow raspberries, long legs carrying him far. He passed many places he had passed before to get to drifter water sources and he took mental note to take time to linger at them longer than he had been. But right now, he would go as far as he could before stopping for a rest.

At one moment he rode Blitzen and at other times he would walk to give his friend a rest. Sas was good at not pushing Blitz past his limits because he didn't want to cause him pain. He cared for him too much to disregard his health. Time went by and the scenery changed, clearly informing him he was in a different place though he knew it was still claimed by the clan. He slowed his pace, allowing his paw to rest on the side of Blitz as he eyed the place. This certainly wasn't a place he had ventured to or even passed along the way, he was sure of it. Even so, he planned to continue on till he reached the end but his plans would soon be altered. After countless steps upon finding the place, he came across a tree and at the base of the tree was a clan mate, well that was what he assumed. He was too far to make out exactly who they were. Any day in the past he would of changed directions and avoid an interaction but today he continued on even when his mind was debating it still. The nervousness grew with each step and Sascha fought it the entire way. Once he was close enough he began to recognize the figure. It was vague but he was sure he met her before.

Sascha stopped within speaking distance, though he would need to be closer in order for her to read comfortably. Blitz stood slightly behind him and the boy gave her a friendly wave. He now knew that this was the girl he met when he came back to Inferni. The little bit of his tail clung to him while he tried to ignore the "I want to hide" feeling looming inside. Blitzen may have noticed the lynx kittens in the tree but Sascha was completely unaware only because of his focas on the girl, even if they were rustling loud enough to hear.

ooc; i am legit falling asleep writing this, sorry for the quality.

The woman wasn't to be left alone for long, and with a soft snort of annoyance at the new scent that filled the area, she looked over her should to that strange boy she had met on the borders one day. Her tail swayed back and forth as she smiled at him, remember that he could not speak, but that he had a writing pad usually. He gave her a friendly wave and she returned it, beckoning him to sit on the grass underneath the tree with her. " Hey Sascha, I don't remember if you know my name, but it's Emma. Emmanulle Brenna. " She commented, her ears perked in his direction as she waited for him to take a seat. Her gaze flitted beyond him, and she regarded the albino reindeer behind him with curiosity.

If it had been outsider her packland and it was alone, she probably would have eaten it. Everybody had their different pets, and this pumpkin-colored boy was no different, though why he chose food as company was beyond her. Obviously though, it was owned. It's rare coat color and the fact that it was following the Ulrich boy was proof enough. " You know, I don't see you around much. " She said, raising one canine eyebrow at him. The dame wasn't sure if this was because he was a shut in or they had simply missed eachother in the days endeavors, but this thought she simply shrugged off and continued to carve shapes into the wood in her hand, ears still focused on the male before her.

Suddenly, one of the kittens fell from a branch that wasn't terribly high up and right into the girls lap, mewing in fright. " Kimbrah, you need to be more careful. " She chided gently, running her fingers over the soft, downy fur of the chocolate colored cat. Gabriel mewed his distress from the branch above them and Emma simply shook her head, thinking she still had a long way to go with these two.

The quality was fine <3 Sorry for the delay, I've been dealing with a lot of things lately :/

He remembered her for sure though the name was iffy in his mind. Thankfully she had given her name once more and Sascha made sure he would put it to memory this time, acknowledging it with a nod, as he slowly but surely decided to respond to her request. After taking whatever number of steps needed, he claimed a spot under the tree with her and sat comfortably eyeing her with curiosity. As she eyed Blitzen the reindeer returned the gaze with his own but not moving where he stood. Surely the companion would begin grazing, soon forgetting about the two lynx in the tree during that time.

There was a reason why Sascha befriended a reindeer, something he would kill and eat. Blitzen wasn't originally his to began with. The albino deer once belonged to his brother when he was alive and ever since Izaak's passing he silently promised to take care of Blitzen in his place. The companion was a breathing and walking reminder of his brother who he missed dearly. If Sascha had known she was curious about that he would have probably shared the story behind the two. Ruby eyes focused on her still when she spoke once more and that was when he suddenly found his fingers very interesting. There was no surprise to what she had said, Sascha had been to himself a lot in his life. It was only recently he was trying to change that and he felt he was doing a relatively good job...for the most part. Perhaps he could be better but one step at a time is better than nothing.

He didn't know how to respond to that so he simply nodded softly while still focused on his hands, as if he were ashamed. Suddenly he was distracted by the sudden presence of one of the lynx kittens Sascha had failed to notice upon his rival. If he had been paying attention to his senses instead of focusing on not running he may have noticed sooner. Though Blitzen noticed, he still became surprise by the commotion as he wasn't expecting the kitten to suddenly drop from the tree. The reindeer swiftly lifted his head with grass still in his mouth as he eyed the lynx. Sascha's eyes found new interest in the kitten in her lap and when he heard another sound, he glanced up at the tree to see the other. Fishing in his bag he pulled out his means of communicating and began scribbling. Yours? He then held it up for her to read, eyeing the kitten in her lap.

The woman laughed gently as she watched his reaction to the sudden drop of Kimbrah, her tail wagging behind her on the ground. The white reindeer seemed to be interested as well, so she got up to her feet while using the tree as support. She watched curiously as he pulled out the notepad, wondering what he was going to write to her. A few short moments passed and he turned the pad towards her and she leaned closer to read it. Emmanuelle nodded her reaction, smiling sweetly at him. " Yes, they are mine. This one is Kimbrah, and the other is Gabriel. I am training them to catch birds for me and Alma and to help me hunt smaller, delicate things for their fur. " She replied, holding out the dark chocolate colored Kimbrah to him so he could examine it.

Emmanuelle set her at his feet, if he wanted he could pick her up, she wouldn't protest. Stalking back to the tree she stepped up on a lower branch and climbed into it, precariously balancing on a limb and grabbing Gabriel before dropping from the branch onto the ground gracefully. She might have been born a cat, climbing came so naturally to her. Holding the creamy-grey colored cat she walked towards Sasha again, holding up the other kitten to show him as well before setting him on the ground so he could play with his sister. " I got both of them from a dog trader, Amy Sunders. I don't really like her, but it was pretty reasonable trade with all the stuff I got. " Emmanuelle said, trying to create conversation between the two of them even if it were over a pad of paper and a pen. " So.. What are you up to today? " She asked curiously, tail flicking out behind her as she crossed her arms.
