Dalgina was getting older. It was hard to remember sometimes, her feet still too large for her, her head not quite fitting the rest of her body. Other signs were there though. Her quiet contemplation, differing from the simple awe that she held looking at the world as a child, her growing size, the way that she moved among others with the pace of someone that knew where they were going instead of the rambunctious rambling of a pup out for a trip. Dalgina was completely unaware of these changes to herself, knowing more about what was happening around her.
Spring was in full swing, almost all of the snow gone from the ground. The remnants of her childish mixed speech was mostly gone now, speaking either entirely in the arctic language or english instead of the broken style she'd had before, and Dalgina knew this. She knew the other words out there, and was examining the plants bending in the wind. She had moved to where a river cut through the land, kneeling down next to it. Signs of life could be seen where once there was a simple frozen expanse, one Dalgina had romped and played on. Her tail twitched as a fish leaped through the air, catching her attention.
