Pandora licked at her injured ankle it had been only a day since her incident when her paw got trapped in a tree. Though she made a new friend she hated that she had to walk on three legs. The swelling had gone down but only just slightly and she couldn't put weight on it at all. She looked over at her brother and gave him a slight nudge to see if he was awake but he didn’t move. Pandora gave a light smile but snuck away from the group of sleeping siblings and decided to go for a walk or hobble. The early morning was chilly but her thick fur kept her warm. She sat within the flower fields that so far only had tulips budding and she started to sing a joyous tune. She loved her new home now, the people were interesting the lands filled with wonders. The spring added to the beauty of this delightful land. She thought about their old home and though her curiosities were often there she never questioned her mother’s decisions nor asked her father why they left. She understood to a degree but only from what her siblings seemed to talk about. Still she was making the best of their move and kept her cares only for the now.

She was as she often was, patrolling, it was a daily task and practically her life now. It was just the way she liked it. The sense of contribution and value was one that could only be equaled when she looked at her young children and felt the pride bubbling within her. Today lupus called to her and so she humored its tug shifting effortlessly into her natural four legged form. She stopped by at her and Temo's house, nudging the door open with her nose and also scenting at the same time that Pandora had come through it recently.
She checked in on the other three who were still sleeping which was to be expected considering it was still early in the morning and they needed rest to help them grow. They were all getting so big now, it made her almost sad to see it, soon they wouldn't need her or Temo, they would be grown up and have their own lives. She shook her head trying to rid herself of the disturbing thoughts and made her way back out into the weak daylight.
She stuck her nose to the ground and snuffed about until she caught hold of her oldest daughters scent again, following it as it went on its meandering way. It was quite a while before the scent began to get stronger and fresher, indicating that Pandora was somewhere nearby. She let out a short sharp yip to let Pandora know she was about here somewhere and trying to find her. "Pandora?"
