A Knight by any other name.

He was home in Nova Scotia, in land claimed by his father, in a pack created by his father for one purpose alone. To protect and serve. It was a true knight pack, and Aro was beyond excited. He had to familiarize himself with the land, the members and also the new packs that had turned up. He needed to know who they were neutral with and who were allies. He felt that the pack should probably be friendly with all the packs, one never knew when even the dark packs could be wrongly scorn. Still, perhaps those packs deserved it, that would be up to his father and whoever else was leading beside him.

A small thought crossed his mind and Aro didn't want to think about it. Still, it popped up many times since his parents separation and, frankly, he didn't want to know. He couldn't picture his father with anyone else except his mother. I mean, he really couldn't blame his father, she did overact..but not the first time she had. He remembered when he was gone for a whole night...hell. That's what that was, hell.

The young Marino decided it was break time, and he found a nice pine to rest near, utilizing the shade it offered. It was a little past midday and sleep was nagging at him. A large yawn burst from his muzzle and he thought it wouldn't be bad to nap. Laying back, he folded his arms behind his head, his sword laying attached to his belt. He never wore anything else besides the belt, sheath, and sword. For some odd reason he liked the freedom being without cloths offered. Odd, but hell no one ever gave him a hard time...he was an animal after all.

His eyes watched the large marshmallow clouds roll by, his lids becoming heavy and soon closed. Sleep carried him away to a world without reason, or the reality of physics.

Word Count → 000 :: Mind if I pop in? Smile

Fia was in her lupus form for once. Bright blue eyes vibrant and electrifying, as she slowly drew closer and closer. The she-wolf looked much like an arctic wolf in this form, paws silent and white fur slowly breezing back against the gentle breeze. Large white clouds rolled by above Fia's head, the sun nice on her body.

Fia slowly crept towards her older sibling, who relaxed underneath the shadows of a pine tree. He seemed to have dozed off. Although his large form was a bit scary to the small fae, she continued on with her plan with a devious smirk on her muzzle.

Once she was close enough and towards his right side, the she-wolf leaped, aiming to pin him by surprise. A sneak attack, she liked to call it. Though, the black tipped wolf thought that it would be nearly impossible, pinning her older brother. It wouldn't hurt to try and have a little fun, right? If she aimed right, she would catch him by surprise, would pin him down, then...crap. She hadn't thought past that. Oh well. That was part of the fun, right?

He was deep in his nap, abstract images dancing in a time excluded from reality. If he wasn't so tired, he would have easily noticed Fia's scent and sounds as she approached. Instead, he was gone, nearly snoring by the time she decided to go through with her 'attack'. The pressure weighed on his chest like a brick, and his eyes shot open, but he wasn't scared. It was odd, how casual he was in the situation. He merely looked down, and within a matter of seconds grappled her and turned his body, "Ha! Little Sister! Have you forgotten who you were attacking?" He boomed with a playful tone. "I'm Aro Marino...the true Knight!" He said like a hero giving an introduction to his sworn enemy.

He moved her to be beneath him, and his knees drew toward his upper body as he was now on his hands and knees, arm around her to hold her in place as he was sure she would squirm. "Now, for your punishment! Hopefully, you will learn to let sleeping wolves lie!" He leaned back onto his legs and took his free hand to give her a pleasant nuggie. His arm grabbing her around the shoulders to hold her firmly in place to his chest, fingers curled and knuckles digging into her crown. "Now, plead for your release you scallie wag!" He began to laugh.

I'm throwing an Enzo at ya'll Big Grin

A distantly familiar voice had him pausing and listening intently. Loud and booming, playful. It had been a long while since he had heard it. He knew he had jobs to do and tasks to complete but his curiosity would not allow him to simply stroll on by this scene. Sighing quietly the Knight male instead turned and headed towards where he had heard the voice. Confused feelings welled up inside of him like they had done when he had first learned Tony had come back too. He had liked having Jazper and Fia all to himself although he couldn't deny feeling some sort of happy emotion that his older brother had returned.

Jazper had always been so proud of Aro, more than he had of Lorenzo, maybe because Aro was his first born and therefore special in some way. It was enough of a rift that he stopped short of Aro and Fia and didn't rush to greet him with friendliness like Fia had done. He simply watched the pair of them with a sad confused smile upon his face, his large paw braced against a tree and his mace and carving knife swinging gently from his rawhide belt.
