Submission wasn’t something he was used to. In all the time he had spent breath very few had gotten as close as his friend was now. Fewer still had so readily bested him at his own game. The combination of these feelings stirred oddly within the man until he was confused about what exactly it was he really wanted. He knew there was love in him for her, as a trusted friend and companion, but he also knew it was more than just that. He felt strangely calm now with her above him now that the will to fight was gone. He found himself truly enjoying every moment she hovered over him. The touching of her muzzle caused him to shiver lightly in delight even before she thoroughly and right claimed him. The tongue that pushed past his fur tickled and brought forth a soft whine of pleasure. His ears fell back just as he lay flat and let her continue, neither fighting the invasion nor wishing it to stop.
When she was at last finished, the beautiful and bloodied warrior gracefully removed herself from him. The Obsidian male then pulled himself up gingerly with a hand clutching one of the new aches in his side. Once a steady and semi comfortable position came to him, he let his eyes wander up the neatly folded legs of his partner and rest meaningfully on her soft amber. There was a clam there that he hadn’t seen before and everything did indeed seem right in the world. They shared that moment fondly and without words because none needed to be spoken. It was finally him who, after a time, broke stare to answer his own hungry belly and what he knew to be the ravenous mouths of their youth. An exhausted call had them bounding toward the promise of meat and the wonderful return of their treasured caretaker.
