OOC: About mid afternoon
Jiva had to get away from the pack for a little bit. Now that he understood what that scent, that very alluring scent was, he couldn’t help being drawn to it even more. That in itself made him want to run off. He didn’t want to do anything he would regret and he didn’t want to be a lower rank than he was now. He was trying to raise up in the hierarchy. Well trying was a harsh word, but he didn’t want to be pushed down to a level that he really would be the last to eat. So he did what he thought best, he went out exploring. perhaps if he found something nice for the pack to use, or even more books to read then it would be worth the trip and he would have some good excuse for being away yet again. He found himself headed towards their nearest city. Amherst. It was a nice quiet and fresh walk there. He was in his optime form, a rare sight, but he figured he might as well be in it if he were going to rummage around the city. Tobias flew overhead keeping watch on the young man, who probably had made a fool of himself more than once in the past few days.
Jiva was taken by the sight he saw when the city was within sight. many miles away and he could already see it. It was astonishing. He loved the sight of it and he was in awe the closer he got. He kept a steady pace and it was midway through the day when he found himself at the edge of the city. He was cautious about it. He was a wolf and had been living in the wilderness for the most part. They didn’t have towns or cities inside is own packlands and he kind of liked it that way. He had grown up in a cave, albeit it was a cave that had been modified by his father, but he would never get use to living in anything else. Walking slowly now he decided the best things were in the deeper parts of the city so that’s where he headed his eyes going every which way in wonder as he moved along the deserted streets.
