So far lost

ooc goes here

Tauska had again found herself alone and so she continued to wander. Whatever direction she was going was still uncertain but what did it really matter? It wasn’t like she had anywhere in particular she was supposed to go. Only when she found a home would her paws know where they were supposed to be and the direction in which they were supposed to carry her.

With a shake of her head a heavy sigh escaped the she-wolf. She hated being alone. It just wasn’t natural. Finding a place she belonged was her soul purpose now but would she be able to accomplish that? With a flick of her ears, she cast her red flecked eerie ice blue eyes around the surroundings. Always she felt watched and it made the hair along her spine bristle but still she moved on. The scents of others were always strong yet she had so far only met one here. Were the rest hiding? She didn’t think so but plenty of times she had been wrong.

Coming to a stop where a creek flowed before her, Tauska tested the air and listened carefully but didn’t pick up on any others around. So lowering her head she began to drink. Her eyes searched her reflection but all that stared back at her was a stranger. Still she didn’t really know who she was or what she was to become. She was lost and still needed to find her place in life not just in a pack.

Once getting her fill she moved over to lay down beside a tree. Her paws hurt terribly as she began to lick at the front left to try and sooth them. The thought of slipping into the water sounded good but with her luck she would cut a pad on a rock. Right now a lame paw was the least thing she needed so instead she just lay in the cool dirt to rest.

occ: Aika is in her optime and is traveling with her horse and trading wagon and a black mamba :3 sorry for the late reply

Aika scanned the riverside with the suspicious look that always stained her eyes. Her expression remained as cold and unexpressive as always, but the posture of her body and cautious movements warned of her nervous state. There was something worrying her and the only way to notice was by looking into her deep purple eyes, the recent events and the notice of a dangerous group roaming the area wasn’t something to take lightly. The main targets are coyotes and hybrids. She was told. The dark female didn’t know much about this threat and that was the reason why she was oblivious to the fact that those dangerous strangers have been casted away by the local packs, keeping her in an unnecessary state of alert.

The female’s companion, Belial a male black horse, followed his owner from behind being careful with the precious goods he carried inside the large trading wagon. The fresh scent of water alerted the dark woman of a river flowing in the nearby. She leaded the gentle beast toward the water where she released him from the heavy burden of the wagon, allowing him to feed and drink freely as long as he remained close to her and the protection she offered.

Aika turned back at the wagon searching for her favorite pet. The black mamba hissed softly curling around herself between the various pelts they carried. After getting sure the long reptile wasn’t going to join her, the dark hybrid lowered herself to her knees and reached out for the water starting to drink slowly, enjoying the feeling of the cold liquid sliding down her throat. The peace in the atmosphere started to relax the purple-eyed woman, but a poisoned dagger was held firmly in case the danger might suddenly kick in and ruin that peacefulness.

She sighed incorporating back into her feet when her eyes spotted someone in the other side of the river, she squeezed the weapon between her fingers as she quickly studied the situation. The wolf at the other side of the river was alone, her low posture and relaxed movements weren’t of a cold-blooded assassin, which lead Aika to the conclusion that the stranger wasn’t a threat. Hey, over there! She called out with a note of interest in her voice. The black horse trotted around keeping a safe distance between him and the strange female that looked back at them.
