This be Kohaku's table now.

Momma was gone and once again Kohaku and Lucia had been confined to the inside of the den. The multicolored puppy stared at the bright tunnel with wishful eyes. Lucia was behind him and was loudly chewing on her doll. Her growls sounded through the den, but weren't nearly as impressive as his mother's. Kohaku could only remember one time when his mommy had been really angry and her growls were so scary that they were almost scarier than the bright, loud light. Kohaku didn't know what the light was called, but it made lots of noise and there was always water dripping from the sky when he heard the loud light. He really didn't like that light.

Puppy blue eyes turned back to look at Lucia in the dim den. His eyes were slowly starting to change and had a ring or turquoise around the pupil. Kohaku wanted to play, but he didn't want to play with Lucia, she was always fighting with him and wouldn't listen to what he said. Suddenly, he came up with a bright idea. His eyes light up and his oversized ears flew up. When Lucia wasn't looking, Kohaku scrambled out of the den. His mommy didn't ever let him leave the den when she was gone, but he was so much older now and could take care of himself.

Soon his head popped out of the den's mouth and he looked around excitedly. The puppy's black nose twitched while his tail wagged and he scanned the horizon. Mommy wasn't anywhere to be found so Kohaku scampered out the the underground home with a mischievous gleam in his eye. He ran into the towering bushes, the wind whipped in his face and his tongue hung out of his joyful smile. Kohaku wandered around for what seemed like hours, bouncing and inspecting everything he came across.

Eventually the two-month-old came into a clearing a fair distance from his home. A flock of small, golden bird stood in the middle of the clearing. He watched for a moment as they pecked at the ground, one even pulled up a wiggling pink thing and ate it. Kohaku's changing eyes sparkled and he launched himself forward into the den howling. His howl was still weak and uncontrolled, but it was loud enough to scare the birds. They flew off protesting loudly and Kohaku watched as the left. His tail was wagging so hard that his butt rocked to it's motion. Kohaku panted slightly and turned in a circle. He could see the blue sky peeking through the trees as fluffy white clouds passed overhead.

OOC Junk

The Qi'vaex demon wanted nothing more then to move along from where she was. This place bored her and she wanted to do something more fun. Most who roamed the land ignored her and she did the same it was only those who were dumb enough to wonder who she was or what she was doing that got her attention. Unlike many of the modern Luperci the snow white demon liked killing with her claws not weapons.

Zeneca stood in the clearing her skirt being blowed by the breeze. She adjusted her top her large chest almost falling out of the corset. She was alone and loneliness made her want to attack something. boredom was no good for the white demon snarled to herself as she looked at the animals around. She thought about hunting them down and killing some things. the thought of warm blood running down her throat and over her hands. The thought made the demon smile and shudder with desire.

Kohaku watched the sky, imagination and wonder filling his small mind for all of three seconds. The puppy's attention span soon gave out and he was off to look for new adventures. Being outside without his mom was great! No rules, no sister to mess things up. He could do whatever he wanted. Kohaku turned around as he tried to figure out where to go next. He didn't want to go back, although by that time he wasn't sure where the den was. The colorful puppy turned his head, his giant ears swiveled as he sniffed the air. Where was he?

The wind picked up and made the trees sway in its majesty. The bark creaked and Kohaku looked up curiously before he picked up the scent of another. Immediately, he was interested in the other that was nearby. Kohaku ran off in the direction of the scent, his puppy-blue eyes wide with curiosity and innocence. It wasn't long before he emerged from the underbrush into yet another clearing.

Standing in the clearing was not another wolf as he had imagined, but something else. It had white fur that was like his mother and a head that looked like a wolf, but something was very wrong with the stranger. Kohaku froze; his small body trembled as he looked up at the giant that stood on two legs. Kohaku didn't know what to do. Suddenly, he found himself longing for the comfort of his mommy's fur and her soft voice. He wanted to be safe beneath her belly. Surely she would know what the creature was and what to do.

Kohaku's confused mind remembered how his mommy reacted to a wolf who was scary, so he decided to mimic her. His black hackles stood up and his thin tail rose high into the air. His small lips pulled back to reveal equally small teeth and he let out as fierce a growl as he could manage.
