WC:: 273 - I fail at starting xD

The night air held a bitter chill to it, the feel off the wind embracing and enveloping her within it's touch should have been a painful thing but the D'Angelo relished in the cold touch of the night, it's icy edge was welcomed and greeted with open arms, for under the light of the moon she felt alive, the chill setting into her bones was just another small thing that proved her existence was real and that she was truly there. Huddled against her neck was Jason, the concal pheasant not fairing as well as her with the night temperature; reaching up she scooped him off her shoulder and wrapped golden arms around him, hugging the pheasant to her chest to provide him with the little warmth that still filled her body.

Picking her route quickly she made her way back to the caverns, the borrowed leather bag hung from her shoulder full of the various berries and plants she needed to make her writing ink; so far she'd found one recipe that worked somewhat, but she still liked to experiment to find the perfect combination to create a smooth ink that would last long and was nice to write with, considering a few of her past concoctions had stunk her cave out. Making her way down the main entrance tunnel, she made an instantaneous turn and made a pit stop in storage to grab a free fur, wrapping it around the tropical bird roughly, before tucking him under one arm and proceeding back into the general commons room, intending to head back to her cave and begin working on her ink making.

It's funny these two are related and they don't even know it. LOL He refuses to go by the Rhiannon name.

His mate was huge with the brood she carried. He was certain her birthing would come soon, before the depth of summer. She had told him he wouldn't be allowed in the room when she gave birth. He had told her to try and stop him. Just because some wanna-be witch doctor thought she knew best didn't mean he had to listen to her. He was in the commons, working on a small cradle like enclosure for the pups when they got older. The caverns were vast, he didn't want to see any of his offspring get lost.

He was running a plane over a plank of wood, smoothing it out, when the woman came in with a wrapped bundle under her arm. Golden eyes came up, seeing who it was, then dropped dismissively. They came up again, focusing on the bundle under her arm again, a puzzled look on his face. He spoke just loud enough for her to hear him. "What is that?" He was eying the curious bundle; under the musk of the fur, he could almost smell feathers. Had she brought a turkey into the den?

Mmmmmm. Turkey. Reminded him he'd been in here for a long time, working on the little pup enclosure, they play pen. He'd need to eat something soon. He had his ever present pack with his 'special' jerky, though that wouldn't keep him satisfied for long.

WC:: 373 - They are... cousins? I think o.o

Marching through the commons room, the golden streaked woman was completely oblivious to her surroundings and those in the room; they were of little importance to her at that current moment in time, her mind working over and imaging various ways to combined her latest ingredients and how they would work considering her previous attempts at the attributes of some plants that she had figured out thus far. Every few steps she was forced to carefully hitch and re-grip Jason, the pheasant wasn't moving or anything as such to cause her hold upon him to loosen, but her quick strides and general impatience to begin her work caused minor carelessness in regards to the birds welfare and as such she had to frequently re-grasp him as to not drop him.

As she reached roughly mid point of the communal room a voice called out, a male's voice that wasn't as familiar to her as some of the other pack members were. Pausing she twisted her head over her shoulder, looking at him for a moment before turning the rest of herself to face him, making a few steps towards the males direction. “That” she said the word in a monotone manner, shaking her dreaded head as she said it, “You do not address me or Jason as 'that', unless you think that I am so beneath you to be addressed in such a manner or equally my companion here isn't worthy of proper respect. So, which is it, wolf?” despite her words she wasn't particularly bothered by the use of the word, but from her body posturing and voice such things weren't clear; it took others awhile to pick up on her small mannerism to see through her speech and understand what was serious and that which wasn't.

Crossing arms across her chest, she tapped her fingers along her arm, impatiently waiting to hear the males response; or an apology or some form of lousy excuse as to why he had addressed her as such. Idiots. The entire pack consisted of loveable idiots she couldn't help but wind-up every now and then, as well as correcting their manners and poor habits in the process.. or so she told herself to justify her actions.
