yaaay for spring cleaning! open for anyone, can be more than one!

Yesterday had been a bit of a whirlwind for the newly named Vináttans. Leaving the Lakes had been a difficult task on some levels- it had sheltered them for as long as they needed it and now they were just abandoning it. But for something better, something more secure and permanent, somewhere they could grow and expand. The Lakes had been a good place for them to stay for the moment, but he and Lilin had always known that they were destined for bigger places. He thought about the work he'd put into building those quaint huts and the wood that would go to waste. It was a shame, but they hadn't been able to lake the wood with all of the possession Hermes and Artan were already carrying. They'd arrived in their new home yesterday afternoon and had spent a few hours settling in and marking their boundaries.

He hadn't however, expected the howl that had broken their content silence. Confusion had been satisfied when he'd arrived at the border and found a dark female sat. It had taken just a few short moments for Lilin and Miskunn to join him, a united front. Of course, this was unnecessary because it appeared the female was family and she wished to join them. Within hours they'd gained a new member and one who claimed to have a blood tie to them. Saul was content as he woke this morning, the sunlight shining through dusty and dirty windows. Today, he was going to clean. His morning routine was completed with military efficiency as he made his way from the Grand Lake down towards Amherst and then back along the coastline to Jordheim.

As he walked between the humped mounds that were actually houses, making a rather extensive list about what needed to be done. Cleaning was on the top of the list and each house would need to be cleaned out at least. Some doors were broken and some windows smashed and they would all need repairing. He'd searched the houses when they'd arrived and had been relived to find a heavy wooden bucket in one of the houses towards the back end of the valley. Taking off once more towards the Lake, he was pleased to find a healthy crop of soapwort growing close to the waters. Breaking off one or two of the plants, he filled the bucket with water and moved back towards Jordheim. He needed to find some sort of cloth and a broom would help to get the worst of the debris from the floor in the houses. With a grin, Saul donned a new cloak- the Domestic God.
